Prospect Internal Medicine is exactly the private practice I was looking for after spending 30 years on Hilton Head Island, SC. Thanks to Dr Tina Yuan, MD and her staff, I felt very comfortable with the transition from leaving my doctor of 30 years, to establishing a relationship with this new medical team. Prospect Internal Medicine exceeded my expectations on the very first visit. I found "Dr Tina" to be especially nice; very warm and friendly, and she made me feel very much at ease. Dr. Tina Yuan is amazing. She truly listens and cares about you as a person and your health. Her office staff is super friendly and I never have a problem rescheduling appointments. > My OLD Review Below is in CAPS < THE BEST PCP IN KENTUCKY!! :) AND I LOVE ALL THE GIRLS IN HER OFFICE THEY ARE ALL SO NICE! • Review ALL UPDATED Comments Below • >> January 2021 << I am still truly thankful for having a Doctor that really cares about her patients well-being, I have been with Dr. Yuan for many of years, & NEVER, not even once has she rushed an appointment with me. Dr. Yuan is always professional & she truly loves to help her patients, she takes the time to know & understand her patients, & it’s never any judgement!! Back in 2019 When my father passed away, I was a complete mess, but Dr. Yuan was able to identify that something was weighing on me, even through a smile on my face that I tried so hard to maintain, she knew, she saw through that fake smile, without even asking me 1 question. Now that’s what I call perfect primary care, healthcare etc.! I am still & always will be a patient to Dr. Yuan! She truly has become more than just my primary healthcare provider but she’s also a friend to me! & for that she has my loyalty as a patient! P.S. Her front desk ppl are always so sweet & understanding forgive if I get this name wrong but I think her name is Terry! & I love her Medical Assistants together they make Prospect Internal Medicine a 5 STAR PCP! Oh, & of course David G. he is does the medical billing & health insurance mess, I only say “mess” because I know how hard it is to get certain things approved through certain insurances *coughh* Humana. However, David is very professional, & very understanding, now we have to understand all of these jobs have to be done to make Dr Yuan’s private practice a success so, if you get a nasty gram from David about a past due outstanding balance, never take it personal, it’s just apart of the job. The best thing to do, is pick up your phone & communicate with him!! Communication is key! I've been seeing Dr. Yuan for two years and she's one of the best docs I've ever found. She'll actually listen to what you're telling her and take time to get to know you. Her team is great, too. They're super prompt and genuinely get back to you when they say they will. Can't imagine going anywhere else.

If you're looking for a Doctor in Prospect, and you're tired of going to places where you see someone different every time, you should really meet Dr. Yuan. She's incredibly smart and has helped me be a healthier person. I've never had an issue in getting appointments when needed and the staff are extremely accommodating. I hope she stays in practice for a long time.

I am extremely disappointed in the care I received. I have been a patient for 6 years and have had to serious misdiagnosis's. Most recently, i was diagnosed with hives and was given a steroid shot when I had chicken Pox and the shot made it spread like wild fire. My girlfriend is a nurse and recognized that it was viral and she believed chicken pox and insisted that I revisit the Dr. When I went back the next day, my infection had spread throughout my entire body and they continued to insist that it was hives. I had an flight that afternoon and thankfully had taken it upon myself to cancel or I could have infected a lot of innocent people. I called my Dermatologist and they saw me immediately and made the obvious diagnosis of it being Chicken Pox. It was so severe that they took photos for study. I will be looking for a new Dr and will not visit this practice again after 2 severe life changing mistakes on their part due to the desire to quickly move patients/$ without proper testing. The first time I saw Dr. Yuan several years ago she gave me an instant diagnosis on something very perplexing to me. I was so impressed with her skill and kindness that anytime someone needs a new doctor I sing her praises. I’ve been blessed to have good medical care all my life but Dr. Yuan is at the top. I trust her with my life.

In Oct 2001 I went to Dr. Yuan because of quick need. I was the store manager of the Starbucks in Prospect I had been feeling extremely tired as of late, had significant bruising throughout my body and feeling like I most likely would be diagnosed with Diabetes, . Dr. Yuan read my CBC results and immediately sent me to Dr. Rodney Kosfeld. I was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia and on the very edge of death. I'll forever be grateful to Dr. Yuan. She always listens and presents varying degrees of medical advice Which I really appreciate! She is very kind and patient!

I have been seeing Dr. Yuan for years. She has always been courteous and professional. I am glad she is still practicing with all the recent health care changes. It is very hard to find a competent doctor these days.

Dr. Yuan has been my doctor for 13 years. Lots of my friends in church are her patients. We all love her. Their clinic had some phone issue last month. But we are OK with it. I would not go to any other doc. We have had lots of bad experience with other clinics or ER. It is hard to find a competent doc like her.

Dr. Yuan has been keeping me healthy for 7-8 years now. I've presented her with a few challenges and she always meets them head on with a solution. The only thing I don't like is that she told me that I need to reduce my carbs...cutting my rice and pasta. Ouch. I highly recommend Dr. Yuan.

The doctor is very nice and extremely knowledgeable. My Rheumatologist and Cardiologist all highly recommended her. But that office is truly busy and not very easy to get appointment. But I would rather wait to see her instead of seeing any other docs. Some assistants are good, some are average.

Assistant and receptionist are incompetent. Whenever ask something, I don't get an answer. I had to chase them. they don't know what the follow up is. Their excuse is always that doctor is busy. But telling doctor urgent stuff is their job too. They should get back to patient with status with inqiry that patient asked. And Yes. Receptionist is rude.

The front desk people or what they like to call themselves, assistants are VERY RUDE.
