Dr. McGuffey is a great Dr. she listens to your concerns and acts accordingly. If needed she will refer you to the appropriate Doctor for treatment. I find her very personable and professional and have referred several people to see her.

Dr. McGuffey is extremely personable with any complaints I have. She recommended to me a a better medication for my diabetes, and I lost weight with it. She has helped me control my neuropathy pain. I feel comfortable describing any symptoms I have to her and she has the knowledge to handle the issue. I highly recommend her.

I've used Black Canyon Family Medicine for 18 years. Started with Dr. Smith, who retired, and then changed to Dr. McGuffey. She's been my Dr. ever since my return from MD Anderson in Houston where I was treated for very rare bone cancer. She 's an EXCELLENT doctor and has helped me tremendously in dealing with the aftermath of my surgeries and my ongoing condition. Very knowledgable, great bed-side manner, great communication, and very sympathetic. I would recommend her highly.
