Dr Vo is a very nice man when you come to see him the first visit. After that it is extremely hard to have anyone answer calls. Husband went to Dr Vo for a few years. Obviously their billing Dept doesn’t know how to bill Medicare secondary. I have called 3 times. And they would make my husband pay his co pays because Dr has to write off a portion. I love Dr. Vo. He is amazing . He is the only doctor who has helped me with my lower back pain. The problem is with the girls in his office. The phone rings and rings. They never answer the phones and when you leave a message, they never return your calls. I have been trying to get my Medical records for almost a year for my life insurance. The insurance company has tried. It has been almost a year, and still nothing.I have been denied twice because they will not release my records. Dr. Vo needs to hire a whole new office with peope who know what they are doing. These girls spend too much time on their personal phones. Now, I have to find a new doctor. Need more stars. I have been seeing Dr Vo just about every month for 7 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have him in control of my pain management. Yes, there are times that you'll get an answering machine because they're busy. After all, he has 3 offices. But, to me it's worth having to wait for them to call back and they always have. For 7 months my lawyer at has been trying to get them to fill out my doctor form for my life insurance and they still have not done it they don't answer their phone and they don't return phone calls

I have never met such rude, elitist staff in any medical office. An employee there criticized people coming in for pain management (their "SPECIALTY") and implied that opioid addiction is a choice. Office staff doesn't answer the phones. You get a voicemail that states they will return your call, they do not do that either. When I was fortunate enough to have them answer the phone and the girl stated she would call the pharmacy regarding the issue regarding my elderly mom, that didn't happen either and now were back to them not answering the phone. The message states they are open until 6pm. After work I went there and arrived at 4:45, locked up no one was there. Absolute worst office staff I have ever dealt with. This is the Lancaster location but I have no luck reaching the Santa Clarita office either. Office staff doesn't answer the phones. Dr. Has an attitude like he is all that. Also berates patience

Dr. Vo, has been my daughter and I doctor for a few years now and he is amazing, he and his staff always show exceptional care. He goes out of his way to get to the bottom of your medical issue but he also shows a personal concern. No other doctor has gone to the lengths he has especially for my daughter to help in anyway medically possible . Thank you Dr. Vo and his wonderful staff for all you do for our family. I recommend him highly , we will go nowhere else.

AWFUL!! I've never been treated so poorly in my entire life!!

i have been trying since APRIL to request medical records. it is now the end of June. Unbelievable! Every time i try to call them, I am sent to VM, which is barely understandable. I have left so many messages, faxed them requests, and begged them to get back to me. Worst place I have ever had to deal with.

NO SOCIAL DISTANCING UNSAT.... I am afraid whenever I visit.

Dr. Vo and the staff are amazing and caring. Would 100% recommend him! He listens and cares for his patients.

Dr. Vo is awesome! He listens and explains medical options clearly and objectively. His office is always decorated for each season and staff are upbeat and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Vo for any and all chronic pain issues.

I have many autoimmune health issues and live with pain. Dr. Vo has been a God send. His injection to reduce the swelling in my nerves and joints have eased the pain. I am very grateful for his expertise in helping manage my pain. His staff is very nice too. Thank you Dr.Vo.

By far the best pain management dr I’ve ever had! And I’ve seen a few. I had a 6 level spinal fusion that went terribly wrong! And the pain is so debilitating it’s hard to make it through the day. I am lucky to have found a dr that understands and can emphasize. Bedside manner, his explanations are top notch!!

Dr. Vo very professional excellent for pain and pain management. Dr. Vo runs a tight ship. Says what he means and means what he says. If you have chronic pain or pain this is the Doctor to see. Dr. Vo is a big believer in veterans care. If you are a Vet this is your Doctor.

Very caring and straight to business. I’ve been going to him for over a year and I know no matter what he will Listen and help. Intelligent and hard working. I never dread going to my appts, no long wait time, staff actually does their job. I will never go to any doctor but him.

Dr. Vo helped me go from a walker to driving and functioning. He gave me my freedom from pain. Very very intelligent doctor. No nonsense kind of doctor. I appreciated his candor and advice. Dr. Vo was referred to me by my primary care for pain. After completing 20 minutes of paperwork and some irrelevant questions such as are you married, what level of education do you have etc. etc. I was placed into a room to await Dr. Vo. Ridiculously enough the paper work which I just spent my time to complete with my answers was not even looked at by the doctor as he asked me the same irrelevant questions, what do I do for work, if I am married and what is my education level. He then assumed I was an executive by where I worked. After the doctor asked me the same questions just to type the answers into his laptop, he then has the audacity to ask me "well what can I do for you". I just told him I was there for pain, had he not listened or even attended medical school. He did not even examine me, he only quickly ran his fingers down my leg and thought he was educating me on some sensation diagnosis. Dr. Vo does not do anything other than prescribe pain drugs, no examination of the pain site, doesn't check for bruising or swelling. It only took one visit for me to know I'd finally found a doctor that could help me with my pain. My 1st visit I had a pain level of 8 constantly by my 2nd visit pain level was down to 2. Doctor Vo doesn't just rely on guess work. He actually performs tests that give him an indication of what's the actual cause of the pain. The office is respectful of my time. So nice not to wait. I've had the unfortunate experience of being injured severely and being under the care of multiple Pain management specialists due to insurance changes or moves. I have received exceptional, kind care at the hands of a few select - Dr's who treated me like family and really showed concern and utmost respect. Dr. Vo, while skilled is by far the rudest, most disrespectful and uncaring of all. He treats his staff very poorly. I tolerted him but found him to be very offensive & verbally abusive.

I love this guy. He's straight forward. He is very professional and takes care of business. Aside from that, I really appreciate his direct approach. Always a great experience with the staff. Always friendly and never slack. They don't run like crazy either, they just seem in harmony. :)

As a member of the community and former law enforcement officer, I was referred to Dr Vo by another well known MD in the area. In stories like mine, where you have a person who finds themselves in an impossible situation where they were injured and forced to end their career early, it was my first experience with Dr Vo that really made me realize he's a step above the rest in the medical community. Always friendly, Dr Vo met me with a hand shake and a joke. After being treated for over 4 years now, I have come to rely on him for his training and knowledge in all things related to my spine. I have also come to look forward to my visits, it doesn't feel great to be poked and prodded and bent and twisted, but before I've even sat back down, he's already talking about a plan for what we're gonna do. He sits and listens, he might make a joke or two, but this is always to make you feel like a friend, and not just some doctor who sees you as a paycheck. He's never once disrespected me, interrupted me, he asks questions if he's not clear on what you're explaining, and seeing his patients fully recover is absolutely his ultimate goal. How do I know? In today's day in age, we all know and fear the doctors out there who are quick to write prescriptions for pain meds and not only over medicate their patients, but often get them addicted to medications. This is not Dr Vo's practice at all. My second visit I sat and watched as a patient was in recovery from back surgery. I'm not privy to all her details (as Dr Vo strictly adheres to all HIPPA Privacy Laws and Dr patient confidentiality) but during the exam I heard her bending and twisting and moving all around, it appeared she had 100% range of motion, with an invasive back surgery having been performed. It was easy to hear because she was loudly declaring how happy she was. She could move, without pain, and without meds, for the "first time in years" is what she said. This kinda made me chuckle, it was cute how happy she was. But what really brought a genuine smile to my face was when I heard Dr Vo respond. He knew this would be her last visit. But his patients aren't pay checks to him...he was genuinely happy for her and actually pretty enthused about what she had to say. When the door opened and they stepped out, they smiled and I saw the doctor have a bit of a pep in his step. In this moment I knew, I've found the guy I want caring for my spine for life. Not every treatment is going to work a miracle. Not every treatment is going to be perfect, bodies swell, bodies bruise, anything can happen...it's why we sign consent forms. But every treatment Dr Vo offers is carefully calculated in risk versus potential gain. And I can personally attest, only one time in 18 months, I experienced some localized swelling at the injection site (my body does not like being invaded, that's not his fault) but guess who took my call at 11:45pm on New Years Eve? Tell me what other doctor, or anyone else for that matter, does that? This might sound like we're personal friends or something, but before the referral I swear I had no idea he even know he existed. But I suppose that's exactly my point. I don't know him, we don't hang out or play golf or grab a beer...but we joke in his office like we're old friends, and he takes your calls in the middle of the night like a friend... I'll never wear the badge and uniform again, and as much as that pains me, he's made it possible for me to pick up, hold, care for, and play with my 30 month old son. And in the grand scheme of things, that's the best gift more important than my career, and more than I ever could have asked for. Moreover, Dr Vo has successfully found a treatment for me that has given me my life back. My law enforcement career is over, but I have been able to start a new business and I'm thriving. Doctors these days are either afraid of the board or DEA coming down hard, but he's gone head to head with Anthem Blue Cross on my behalf, multiple times, to ensure I have the best quality of life. He was able to put me on a regimen that works for me.... he has never turn his back like other doctors and hospitals have done.... Thank you so much for everything you have done for me!! My only grievance is he's becoming arrogant the larger his practice gets. I went for an injection and had to wait 2.5 hours just to get in. When other of his patients said something about it. He asked if they wanted him to rush through the procedures. He was way overbooked.

I wish I would have read your reviews before going there. He is so rude and can not even remember what he said at the consultation or maybe that is how he does things over there in his new building. All you are is a dollar sign to him if you don't want injections that do cause scare tissue in your sockets But I can not have steroids so he should have told me that he was going to lower my medication that. Is the only thing that gives gives me a quality of life but he did not care I even told him why I was leaving my other doctor !! So once I got every thing changed to him he changed completely. WOW ..
