Dr. Alexander Chokler

Dr. Chokler treated me for a very serious diagnosis with the utmost care, assuredness and professionalism. He answered all of my questions and concerns and performed a complicated procedure expertly, of which I have recovered from amazingly well. He is a wonderful surgeon and I am truly grateful.

The most rude and arrogant Dr. I have ever dealt with

Very unresponsive to post operative pain. Did not control pain while in the hospital and discharged patient only 5 hours after an acute appendectomy. Was not willing to increase pain medicine despite the nurse’s request. Gave only 3 days of discharge medicine and did not respond when a refill of pain medicine was requested. Have left over medicine from prior surgeries, so clearly not a narcotic abuser. Terrible looking wound closure from primary laparoscopic incision. Never use him!!!

Very condescending. Noticeably irate if questioned. Not concerned whatsoever with patients work stressors.

An excellent Doctor/Surgeon.
