Dr. Thad R Schulten

A professional and welcoming office. Dr. Schulten spends plenty of time at the consult explaining the procedure and answers every question. His office staff are helpful and answer everything from financials to post-operative instructions clearly and concisely. Highly recommend this amazing office.

Still the best OMS and staff in Louisville. Has taken wisdom teeth out on 2 of my children, and soon to be treating the 3rd.

I had a tooth extracted after a crown and post broke off . Best Dr. ever!! No pain or problems. Took 2 ibuprofen twice daily for five days. Absolutely no pain or discomfort!!! Thanks Doctor Schulten you are a Great Professional

Having numerous chronic illnesses, I've had my fair share of bad experiences with the medical community but Dr. Schulten is the exception. He explains everything & his overall demeanor demonstrates good care & genuine concern for his patients. I can't say enough about Dr. Schulten & his assistant Andrea. She was excellent & showed such friendly professionalism & concern for me. Having teeth pulled isn't fun but Dr. Schulten & his staff made it so much less painful. Thank you! I am glad to say… Dr. Thad is real nice and he has a Great staff!! Hard to find good people these days! Definitely will refer them. As the world is on hold… My appt was scheduled about 3 wks. out but totally Worth the wait!! Thank you all

Took great care of my wisdom tooth extraction. I was nervous about it, but was very great with me.

My normal dentist was having a hard time pulling out my tooth so he referred me to Dr. Thad. At this point I was super frustrated because I didn’t plan on having an extraction take up my whole day. I immediately started crying out of pain and frustration in the lobby. His staff was sooo compassionate and did everything they could to let me know that I was now in great hands and they sympathized with me knowing that I was annoyed and hungry. They gave me drinks and food to eat while waiting on the doctor and they really eased my nerves. When I was finally able to see Dr. Thad he was very personable and knowledgeable. He also understood that I had, had a long day so he gave me the option of sedation the next day. I came back the next morning and just knew I was in great hands! They put me in the same room I was in the day before which made me feel at home, he joked a bit, his assistants were amazing! He prescribed me antibiotics and pain pills for my pain. He told me how great of job I did, mind you I just fell asleep lol. Overall, a really great doctor and a really great staff! They went above and beyond. Dr Thad Schulten is an excellent oral surgeon; very caring and competent. Takes time to answer all questions and is careful to control pain during the procedure. His fees are very reasonable and I would definitely recommend him to friends and family. Entire staff at Churchman Ave location were friendly and very helpful.

Dr. Schulten and his team are wonderful. I took my 11 year old daughter in to get 3 teeth pulled. As normal she was pretty nervous before the procedure, but Dr. Schulten and his assistance were very kind and patient with her which calmed her and made her feel very comfortable. Dr. Schulten talked her through everything he was doing, and when all was said and done she said she would be very happy to go back if she ever needs anything else! As would I! Had broken a tooth that abscessed over the pre-holiday weekend. Dr. Schulten and staff worked me in on New Years Eve morning and resolved the issue quickly and painlessly. Couldn't recommend more.

Dr Schulten was fantastic with my daughter and the staff was so nice and wonderful upon my daughters appt. However I was due a small refund and called s/w penny and she was so unprofessional and aggressive. I'm shocked that a professional office treats their patients like this. Dr. Schulten is top notch.

Everyone is so friendly in this office and very helpful. They really helped when it came to insurance and pay. Every appointment I came in for I was in and out very quickly. Dr. Shelton is awesome.

First time here and I was so nervous to have an extraction done due to a previous dental procedure that was terrible. I had tears streaming before he even touched me that's how nervous I was. I was terrified to have 8 teeth extracted at once (one wisdom tooth, several molars, and more), but Dr. Shulten was amazing! It felt like surgery took 15 minutes, pre- and post- op appointments were a breeze. They fit me in a few days later when I was concerned about the healing. Refund for the deposit was returned very fast! Will definitely be going back to Dr. Schulten's office for implants. My husband had a wonderful experience at Dr. Schulten's office last week. He had to have a tooth extracted and it came out in pieces. Dr. Schulten did a great job getting it out. He has had no pain whatsoever. The staff at this office is helpful and friendly. We can highly recommend Dr. Schulten to anyone who needs an oral surgeon.

Dr. Schulten is super fast! I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed at one time and it took less than 30 minutes. I'm healing up well and glad those teeth are gone. Incredibly efficient and fantastic doctor. His operations are quick and decisive. I had hardly any pain after my surgery, all thanks to Dr. Schulten. He was incredibly professional and he puts patients needs first. I am recommending him to everyone we know.
