They can't fill out fmla papers they have had papers over 2 weeks theyare putting my job in jeopardy havecalled several times and no reply t have even called theoffice manager several times.NoReply from officemanager or doctor very upset and dissaponted

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Simmons. I am completely satisfied with my visit. He was friendly, and he took his time talking with me about my health. I have not been to a doctor in years and was very nervous about it. He put my mind at ease and I am looking forward to getting back to feeling better. I would recommend this office to anyone. DR. SIMMONS IS A WONDERFUL DOCTOR. I WILLING LIKE HOW HE COMES IN THE ROOM AND SAT DOWN IN A CHAIR AND LISTEN TO ME AND ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS..

I shouldn't have gave a bad review as we haven't seen him for several yrs and I feel bad that I did. Just wasn't a good match for my mother.

I have read the negative reviews and find them SO contrary to my experience with Dr Simmons. I started going to him because of a good friend’s recommendation and couldn’t be more pleased. He has a caring and compassionate attitude every time I see him. Absolutely no rush to get me done and gone. Sometimes I feel a tinge of guilt for taking too much of his time talking about things totally unrelated to my medical condition. Until he retires or I’m unable to see him he’s my guy! I absolutely love this practice. The Dr.s and nurses are absolutely amazing. The bedside manor and response times are excellent. We as a family love it here. Way to go ladies and gentlemen.

This is by far the worst doctor I have ever been to. Unfortunately I have to choose a star...although this review really deserves zero stars! This was my first time seeing him. He replaced my doctor of 15 years because she retired. He rushed through the appointment with little regard to my concerns or questions. I was not given any personal attention and he made wrong assumptions about me and my medical conditions. He was rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. I felt like trash when I left there. He didn't even say goodby or point me in the direction of the exit. After he was done talking he stood up and started to walk out of the room. I said, "I have a question" and he turned to me like it was an inconvenience. I am stunned at the positive remarks left here regarding this doctor. Maybe he was having a bad day when he saw me, but that is no reason to treat a patient as he treated me. As he was walking out the door he said "Maybe you should find a doctor closer to where you live". The only reason I went there was because I had seen my doctor for over 10 years when I moved an hour away. I really liked my doctor and decided to keep her even though it was a bit of a drive to see her. Plus I have so many medical conditions I didn't want to start over with a new doctor. He basically told me if I wanted to continue my current prescription regime, I would have to start all over with tests and xrays. That's ridiculous! So, instead of actually going through my records closely and actually reading everything and spending some time with me, he wants me to start over. I can't afford that! I have no insurance!. Had I realized he was going to treat me so badly and unfairly, I certainly wouldn't have spent the couple hundred dollars to see him (I'm self pay). That was a complete waste of my time and money. I was, and still am, appalled at his behavior. So very unprofessional! And just for the record, this review is not retaliation for not getting my prescriptions renewed. This is why I waited 3 days to write this. i wanted to make sure I wasn't just blowing off steam because I was so angry when I left there. Dr. Simmons has been my Dr. For as long as I can remember but now he moved out to Basehor and now next time I have to go see my Dr. I am not really sure if I am just going to stay with Dr. Simmons or if I am going to find me another Primary Dr. But knowing me I will stay with Dr. SIMMONS

Dr. Simmons is always very caring, takes care of all my problems, answers all my questions and never makes me feel rushed. He seems very knowledgeable and is easy to talk to. All of the clinic staff I encountered were very courteous and thorough.

I found the office staff to be very kind and helpful I went to his ARNP and she helped me a lot. I plan to continue to see them as a patient

Not a long wait and Doctor Simmons really listens to your concerns. Great staff and Doctor, friendly and helpful.

I have been going to Family Medical Group since shortly after moving to Kansas City Ks in 2006. I saw several of the other doctors in this group and finally settled with Dr Terry Simmons. He is treating all of my ailments and makes them easier to live with. He is always well informed and educated and shares what he knows about different options I have for my treatment with me so I'm also in charge of my own health care. His assistant, Joy is a blessing to his team. He is very competent as well as thorough. If you ever need a specialist he has a great group to refer you to. He has never let me down. My job and insurance makes us jump through a lot of hoops for coverage and they jump right through them with me without any frustration. I highly recommend Dr Terry Simmons and his team for anyone looking for a good down to earth Doctor. FMG accepts most insurances as well as Medicare and Medicaid. The office staff is also amazing. My wife has been going to this office for close to 20 years and the only issue is the doctors assistant. She is always rude. Other than her my wife has never had any problems.

I've been seeing Dr. Simmons for about 3 years, he is kind and thorough. I totally recommend him and wish more doctors could have his bedside manner. ????????

If you can put up with the RUDE and front office staff DR SIMMONS IS AWESOME. He is kind, smart, caring, compassionate, and very thorough. Exactly what you want in a doctor. It's crazy how RUDE that front desk is though. I guess they have to put up with a lot of rudeness and just take it out in everyone. Sad ??

This doctors office has yet to help me, I have been seen here 5 or 6 times in the last months, I'm still sick. Have been sick for 16 months they haven't helped me at all. I have spent more cash there then being treated. Now, I give up.

I've been going to Dr Simmons since 2008. He has always listened, and "fixed" all ailments me and my children have had. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
