The office staff is very caring and efficient! The staff in the back is very friendly and knowledgeable. I had to reschedule appointment several times and they were very accommodating. Dr. Lewis too the extra time necessary to diagnose a difficult situation. My children needed glasses and the staff took A LOT of time to help them. No reservations what so ever! I posted one review already, but it seems to have disappeared. My visit to Dr. Lewis was ok. The exam went well, and I opted to go to Sam's Optical so I could get my new glasses the same day. I had to ask for my prescription, which is a violation of federal laws. The numbers, or should I say, the plus and negative symbols following the numbers were reversed on the prescription which resulted in a totally useless pair of new glasses. Sam's recognized where the problem was and a called Dr. Lewis' office to verify the mistake on the prescription. Sam's made a second pair at no charge, and they are working fine. I paid up front at the office, and don't remember giving my insurance card to them, only my Medicare card. Today I got paperwork from my private insurance showing where Dr. Lewis' office filed a claim for which they had already been paid in full at time of visit. Dr. Lewis seems to know his job, and does it well. I can't say the same for whoever is responsible for messed up prescriptions and fraudulent insurance claims.
