Best doctor I’ve had - takes the time to get to know you. Extremely caring. Very knowledgeable. Works with you respectfully not condescending in any way. Staff mirror her excellent approach.

We miss her terribly!! We moved away a decade ago and to date we have not found anyone as thorough as dr Montoya

Not only are the staff rude and condescending but so is the doctor. Be prepared to wait for far too long for an appointment, call back, or telephone appointment. Not to mention the fact that it’s practically impossible to get the doctor to do anything if it’s “not her responsibility or problem”. You are the PCP, not a specialist. The only reason I even give this doctor and her office (with the exception of Laurie) a 1 star rating is because I could not find a way to add my comments without giving a star. My father is elderly, hard of hearing and has trouble understanding things at times. He complained to me that the doctor did not really seem to take too much interest in his health or him. At first I didnt believe it until I stepped in. We had a tele-health visit with the doctor in which she recommended home health to help treat my dad with some health issues. The doctor gave us this news on a Thursday. In calling the office, they said they didnt have the orders on his chart. This was 4 days later! The office staff, one in particular was very rude to my wife and I and even hung up on us when I was trying to find out the status of the home health referral. I even have a medical POA over my Dad!! Needless to say, we will be changing doctors and I will be submitting a complaint to Medicare to investigate further. If my Dad was getting this treatment, who knows how many other of her patients are getting the same treatment! This is beyond ridiculous!! Great manner, professional, and caring.

Dr. Montoya is an excellent doctor. Very caring and concerned. Takes the time to explain everything in language that the average person can understand. Really listens to her patients. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. No complaints ever from my husband and I.

I've always had a good experience at Dr. Montoya's office. She's been great with me and my kids. Sometimes service is a little slow, but isn't it always at Dr. offices?

Dr. Montoya is very friendly and is interested in your lifestyle, not just your medical conditions. My husband and I are both patients of hers.

Would not recommend Dr. Montoya to ANYONE. During my experience with her she was unprofessional, inconsiderate and uneducated on the prescriptions she prescribes. First, prepare to wait about an hour and a half after your scheduled appointment time to be seen. Second, my husband has been on the same medication for 30 years. Running out of his medications causes him to be extremely ill. Without notice or consultation she decided to stop filling one of his medications, a medication in which should not just be stopped but slowly taken off. She has also prescribed him medications that someone with his condition absolutely should not take! THE ONLY REASON THIS REVIEW HAS A STAR IS DUE TO THE FACT I COULD NOT POST IT WITHOUT ONE.
