1. Don’t go alone if you are under workers comp 2. Ask if he red the MRI 3. Plan ahead your questions. 4. Make sure you are going to be treated for your symptoms. 5. If your 2nd visit don’t have any changes or feel the same ask a second opinion with a second or get a different dr. 6. Keep in mind that they are people and they can give you a wrong answers too. Fairly quickly into my visit, Dr. Prasad dismissed my neurological symptoms. He instead suggested my symptoms were psychological rather than neurological. Thank goodness I got a second opinion with a different doctor who took my symptoms seriously, who diagnosed me with an autoimmune disease involving small fiber neuropathy, and who has been actively working with me on care and treatment. Dr. Prasad offered none of this and instead tried to tell me it was simply stress or anxiety. Would not recommend him.

Completely blew past my grandmothers questions and didn’t answer not one of the questions she ad written down. Complete waste of time we got rushed out of the office with no answers.

My grandmother wrote down a whole list of questions for him. He kept speaking over her and rushed her out of the office. Horrible dr, do not recommend.

This Dr. ( he’s not!!) is the biggest QUACK in the field ! My daughter drove 3 hrs with my sick Granddaughter to see this Quack who was referred from St.Thomas. Being St Thomas we just assumed he’d be a Quality dr. What a joke on us!!! My Granddaughter has been very ill for 2 long scary months. Not finding help in the Godforsaken St. We live in we thought Tennessee St Thomas Hospital would provide help. After driving 3 hrs in a bad storm they get there he walks in the room tells her everything she’s been going thru was a fluke and she had a migraine.!!!!! And left. They sat in disbelief.! Just came from his office and I’m beyond angry and frustrated. I would not call him a Dr. I have neuropathy. He told me he was a general neurologist and doesn’t treat neuropathy. He is charging hella dollars for something that’s not within his scope of practice. TERRIBLE. I would give less stars if I could!!! ????????

Came in for many different issues, he barely let me speak or explain anything and rushed the whole appointment. When I tried to explain my symptoms and told him my pcp was suspect of ms he told me it sounded like ms but doesn't think it was and offered absolutely nothing else. Only got an mri because my pcp asked for one and afterwards he called and told me there was nothing but offered no more help or explanation. It was a completely pointless feeling visit and I don't think I've ever met a more dismissive doctor. Afterwards I look in the notes and he wrote that he thinks its all anxiety but my actual LISCENCED PSYCHOLOGIST disagrees. Great doctor; finally got some relief from my terrible migraine headaches.

Called in at 9am because I was in excruciating pain from a migraine didn’t get a call back until almost 1pm for a same day appointment. Sounds good right! I got there still in pain in tears because of the pain when I was told I had a balance from a year ago and wouldn’t be seen until I made a payment. This doctor refuses to listen to his patients. He talks over his patients.At the appointment he asked questions that my 7 year old could have asked. Did an exam that my 7 seven year old could have performed. The only positive thing about the appointment he agreed to read a MRI, that I had to set up. NOT HIS OFFICE. Then called with the results him talking the whole time. When I had a question he refused to answer the question and then hung up the phone. There is zero tolerance for terrible bedside manner. Dr Prasad didn’t even look at my charts that my doctor sent over. He kept insisting that I had migraines. When I came in there for fatigue and dizziness along with a headaches. I asked about my MRI and he looked confused because he never even looked at. That was the main reason why my doctor referred me. He then says “oh the fluid pockets on my brain were normal”. When the MRI showed I had lesions on my brain. He didn’t even address it. He prescribed me some medicine and said I was free to go and walked into another room with a patient. Needed my note amended for work after having a normal neuro work up. Instead of saying he wouldn’t amend the note he said since it was locked he could not. Family works in health care and notes can 100% be amended. The one sentence cost me my job/insurance and when my work up was normal. If he didn’t want to fix the note he could’ve said he would not instead of could not. No room for lying in health care.

Placed me on medication and then REFUSED to refill it until another office visit was completed (i.e. cash in hand). The medication is Topamax, which is an anticonvulsant. Abruptly stopping this medication can cause seizures. This man's license should be pulled. Disgusting individual and office staff.

Dr Prasad has helped me with my Clusters for years. He is always willing to help me with try different meds to see what works for me. The staff is excellent as well.

If you are in need of a doctor do not waste your time with this man. Read and believe the other low ratings you find. I have no other reason to give a review about this man but that I am trying to guide any would be patients in a better direction. ALMOST anywhere else would be better than this guy. Saw Dr. Prasad for severe vertigo and he was wonderful. His prescribed treatment knocked it out within a few days.

Do not visit this doctor!!! He will prescribe you unnecessary medications, TON of them and the worst part is that he wont explain to you for what they are for and lack the knowledge of the side effects. He will say, I just feel is necessary and at the end you wont be able to get life insurance. STAY AWAY!!!

The office is very difficult to get ahold of. I left a message on their system and they claimed they didn’t get it. The person on the phone got me mixed up with another patient! She was rude and didn’t listen to me. Can I list all of the bad experiences with this office before I even get to see the doctor? Does the doctor know that this is going on? Compassion is part of the medical world. I have worked in it for years.

He knew I was experiencing EXTREME DIFFICULTIES with my health, which included UNBEARABLE PAIN and depression. I also have no help with my five year old son. I fight an auto-immune disorder, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, depression from never getting sleep because of pain, and bad nerve pain in my face with neck and head pain, which is why I came to him. He diagnosed me with cluster headaches. I had to cancel the morning of my appts. (3) because I woke up THROWING UP TWO TIMES and my son VOMITED ALL NIGHT another. I get a phone call he THREW ME OUT because I didn't give 24 hours notice!!! HOW THE HECK can I do that when I WOKE UP THAT FREAKING MORNING PUKING??? NO EMPATHY. Dr. Prasad inspires confidence by takng time to explain the condition, the treatment plan and what to expect. He's always pleasant and reassuring and has helped me cope with a rather scary problem. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Referred to Dr Prasad for a migraine from my primary care physician. He seemed to lack the skill or maybe didn't care to help me. He continually ask if I had "hit my head" or "been in an accident". Because I could not answer yes to these questions, he seemed at a loss as to how to treat my headache. I paid out of pocket for the MRI ($950) and he didn't look at it. Since this time, I have a new DR, who found significant bone spurs, nerve impingement and disc disease causing the migraines.

I am very picky about the physicians I see, and I prefer to see physicians who are at least rated a 4 - 4.5 stars. I was worried that I wouldn't feel comfortable with Dr. Prasad based on some of the reviews, but as it turns out, I was very pleased with Dr. Prasad. There was little wait time, and I feel Dr. Prasad took sufficient time with me and recommended the appropriate tests. He got back to me very promptly with the MRI results. Great doc in my opinion!!

Dr. Persaud has absolutely no knowledge of medication interactions or side effects. This man has no idea how to explain to his patient what side effects are to certain medications. Do your own homework with your pharmacist before accepting any type of medication or treatment from this man. Because he will tell you that there are no side effects to the medications that he prescribes.

Dr. Prasad was able to relieve my chronic migraines. I have seen several doctors. I really appreciate his thorough knowledge and efficiency. His staff is always courteous and helpful.

On every occasion I saw Dr. Prasad, and particularly the last, he displayed a depth of ignorance that I've never before encountered in a doctor regarding the medical conditions he is purportedly qualified to treat. I have the medical/scientific background to know that any knowledge he has is woefully out of date with current research. His ability for critical thinking seems to be totally absent, and evidence-based medicine appears to play no role in his practice. I expect both at a minimum.

I went to Dr. Subir Prasad's office for my fiancées appointment the Dr. spent very little time with my fiancée' caused us to spend an extreme amount of time in the waiting room even though we where on time for the appointment. The Dr. insisted that the only thing he could do for my fiancée' was botox shots witch after doing some research his case of migraines dose not even qualify for. He refused any other options for treatment of my fiancées migraines. My fiancée' asked if there was anything the Dr. could do to prevent having to go to the emergency room for assistance when a migraine hits, and the Dr. refused to do anything other than scheduled an appointment for the botox injections even though my fiancée' insisted that he did not want to proceed with injections. At a latter time I had to call the Dr. myself for assistance in dealing with my fiancée' migraine and he insisted that there was nothing he could do to assist my fiancée' and that I was to take him to the emergency room. I informed the Dr. that we are unable to get to the emergency room or to pay for yet another emergency room visit for this issue. The Dr. precoded in telling me there was nothing he could do and if I called the number again that he would dismiss my fiancée' as a patient. In conclusion Dr. Prasad has absolutely no caring for his patients and 0 bedside manner when dealing with the patient or the patients family. I would recommend that if you have chronic migraines or if you need to be treated as a human being by your Dr. do not visit this Dr. and if you ever need your family to call your Dr. on your behalf just skip over this Dr. and find a different one. Fantastic. My mothers primary doctor for her stroke. Made her feel at ease. Highly recommend.
