Mr. Steven Lee Willett

This was the most unpleasant gynecological experience I have ever had. I had never had a painful pap smear before him and all other procedures were painful with him. He also does has zero warmth to his personality which made talking to him difficult. He seemed to be annoyed with my questions. When I had developed a BV infection and asked him some follow up questions online via the St. E portal, his response was derogatory and did not answer any of my questions. To be specific, I asked him if I absolutely needed to take the antibiotics that he prescribed because it seemed to be going away on its own by the time the results came back and it was a particularly rough-on-the-gut antibiotic he had prescribed. I also told him that I trusted his advice and would take the antibiotics if he thought it was necessary. He responded with, "All I can tell you is that you have BV. The antibiotic will treat it." I've never gotten such a rude response from any doctor. And to clarify, he is the only doctor I have ever had a problem with at Saint Elizabeth hospitals. I am not a patient of Dr. Willett however I was with my loved one during her surgery, his behavior and demeanor towards her was very rude and demeaning. He showed no regards to her feelings and basically belittled her not only in front of me but in front of nurses and other hospital staff. I see he has outstanding ratings so I’m so confused as to how she was treated with such carelessness. He also blamed her for the issues she had after her initial surgery however he in-fact could’ve caused the issue himself. Even if she was responsible for what happened its how he went about it that was extremely unprofessional and out of line. I hope that he sees this review and can adjust his behavior moving forward. I am a very new patient and so far I am very happy with how much this doctor really listens to what I have to say. His response has been on point every time!

Dr Willett performed a complete robotic hysterectomy on me. He performed above and beyond my expectations. He is a wonderful doctor and very approachable. I would highly recommend him.

This man almost killed me. Here is the condensed version..I went into the hospital early at 35 weeks due to severe pre-eclampsia, he ordered an emergency C-section - he seemed very inconvenienced to have to perform it. After surgery, I started severely hemorrhaging on the OR table, he was annoyed he had to tend to me again. 6 weeks later after 4 ER visits due to daily SEVERE bleeding, they found retained placenta he left in me after surgery. A second surgery was required. DONT LET HIM TOUCH YOU!

I went into labor at 35 weeks, doctor was in call and never answered or returned my call within 5 hours I tried getting ahold of him. The office lady had to tell me to go to triage. At the hospital I waited 8 hours for him to come in and accidentally break my water when he did... than my childs head was out by the time he made it back to the room and told me to stop pushing for him to get his gloves on.
