Dr Shoan performed hand surgery for pain in my middle finger the finger 6 mo ago never locked but he said it was a trigger finger. It is now going on 6 months and I'm left with a limited and crooked finger and what feels like a marble in the palm of my hand. When I asked him about what he did he became very defensive, raised his voice and blamed the Phy therapist and they did all they can to straighten my finger and give me more range of motion. Then he just dismissed me said I didn't have to see him any more unless I have a problem. Well DUH .Very disappointed in the surgery and his mannerism. CB Somerset NJ

I have had surgery on both hands for Dupytrens contractions with Dr Shoen. His patient interaction, his staff, and most importantly, his surgical results are all 5 star. I highly recommend Dr Shoen to anyone seeking this procedure.

I don't normally write reviews but in this case I felt i needed to. I went to see Dr. Steven Shoen for a necessary surgery and i went in with trepidation and nerves. Dr. Shoen made me feel comfortable from the start. He is genuinely caring and patient and treated me wit the utmost kindness. The operation itself was a complete success and i say this with conviction -- Dr. Shoen changed my life forever in the best possible way. I will forever be grateful to this amazing surgeon. I thank my lucky stars on a daily basis for having met Dr. Shoen. He truly is my forever Hero

This doctor only care for his Money he mess up my eye I had surgery with him over two years ago he cut to much skin in my eye and I look horrible ?? I had a second surgery already but I’m still show some imperfections and u can see the scars on both of my eyes I had already spend over 15 thousand because of his negligence and they didn’t ever care to give me some of my money back all he keep saying was that my eyes were going to go back to normal but they never did . He ruined my life I disliked this doctor he’s a lier he said my surgery was very simple and he destroyed my life I was so depressed I’m in debt because of his negligence.

Dr Shoen is an amazing physician who really cared about me as a patient. I was very satisfied with the outcome of procedure, and he was always patient with all of my questions and concerns. Furthermore his staff was friendly and pleasent to work with. If you are looking for a doctor that really cares about you as a patient, Dr Shoen is the physician for you. I would recommend him to all freinds, and colleagues.

Dr. Shoen is a very greedy, petty, and spineless doctor who only cares about money. This guy will charge you for breathing the air in his waiting room. I went to Dr. Shoen for two issues. One was cubital tunnel syndrome on my left hand and carpal tunnel on my right. During my initial visit he examined both arms and hands. He decided for the right hand to give me soft splint/wrist support.Then he sent me for EMG testing for both arms and hands. The results of the EMG showed that the cubital tunnel syndrome on my left arm was bad enough that surgery should be performed. The right side wasn't as bad so we both agreed to do the surgery for cubital tunnel right away and come back to the right side later. I had the surgery done 2 weeks later and went back to his office as directed for a follow up visit which was included in the treatment plan. The splint was removed and Dr. Shoen came in to check out the wound and ask me how I was. While he was looking at the post surgery area, I told

Dr Shoen did two surgeries for me in the past. One was removed abnormal bone growth on forehead and the other was remove tick bite in chest. Scars are invisible due to his magical hands. I am very satisfied and highly recommend him.

Dr. Shoen did a stupendous and extremely impressive job on the Blepharoplasty surgery I had in his office.I was a little apprehensive at first but when I went to his office for a consult. Dr. Shoen and his staff were reassuring and put me at total ease.The surgery was affordable and the recovery was over in no time. I was afraid that there would be scarring.But I was amazed that the there was only 1/2 of a centimeter in corner of my right eye but unnoticeable.Thank you Dr. Shoen you got my vote

Terrible! my appt was for 12:15 I got there at 12:10 filled out paperwork 5min and sat for 1/2 when I asked the staff how much longer she said she didn't know, really! I left terrible!!

Dr. Shoen has removed several moles - 3 that were on my face. I am very satisfied with the results - minimal scars - hardly noticeable. Recently, he removed a birthmark from my arm which turned out to be melanoma. He recognized that there was an issue during the procedure and took more tissue than originally planned. He then consulted with a top melanoma specialist as to how to proceed everything was removed. He listens and answers all questions. He is very nice, soft spoken and caring.

This man is a real doctor. He puts his patients first. He is a traditional doctor who care more about the well being of his patient than anything else. God bless him and his entire staff!

Dr. Shoen is an excellent physician - he sutured my daughters laceration on her eyelid perfectly and 1 year later still no scar
