Horrible experience with this doctor, its very difficult to talk to him, he order extra analysis, I dont have any health issues but he order for extra analysis, which my insurance did not cover and never called me to give me the results, I had to call him to get the results from someone else in the office, I would not recommend this doctor

Dr Richards always listens to your concerns. He always explains clearly what the problems and solutions are.

being pawned off on a nurse practitioner that does not listen thanks doc

Twice I've been prescribed critical medication and wasn't able to get it for several days because of incompetence. I get sicker due to their negligence. Pathetic

DR. Richards is an excellent physician. I have been his patient for nearly six years. He always takes his time with me. He is very pleasant. He gives instructions clearly. I am very pleased with his treatment of my medical problems

Wonderful. Dr. Richards listens to my concerns and responds with very logical and insightful answers, put into non-medical verbiage. He is an excellent diagnostician-got my condition figured out immediately. Also he used appropriate testing to confirm diagnosis.

Doctors in Belpre seem to operate on one guiding principle, and that is the "opiod crisis". Rather than prescribe medications to treat symptoms while a fix with a specialist is assembled, expect if you have no cartilage in your hip, bone on bone for two years, to be given a prescription NSAID and enjoy becoming an invalid. I love Dr. Richards. He actually takes time to listen to me and remembers previous problems.

Excellent doctor. He listens and discusses problems. Staff is the best. Highly recommend Dr. Richards.

Office never answers the phone, call the nurse and she never answers either and doesn’t return your phone calls. Pathetic!!!

Medications that are prescribed are not always all called in . Pharmacy's even talk about it.Would never recommend him or his staff. Plan to be sent to another doctor that's more expense for you. Seems they can only treat a cold.

Dr Richards is a wonderful doctor. He is smart, compassionate and fun.

After much deliberation I decided to leave my doctor and go to Dr Richards after a friend referred me there. Making my appointment was a pleasant experience to start. The receptionist was very nice and pleasant to talk to! They got me in within a week even given my hectic schedule. Once I went in for my appt once again, the receptionist was so nice and helpful! The nurse, Melody, was great also. She listened to all of my concerns and made me feel comfortable. Once the NP came in, Jessica Owens, I knew I was in good hands. She was also very nice and very attentive to every detail of things I wanted to talk about. Nothing was left out and everything was addressed. She even told me all about the office and Dr Richards. The office was very clean and pretty. I am so glad that I decided to make my appointment here and can finally feel like I will be taken care of. Thank you guys! Dr Richards is the most intelligent and kind physician that I have ever known. He goes above and beyond to make sure he finds answers. His compassion is evident in all that he does. I trust my life and the lives of my children to him. He does not rush his patients. He takes as much time as needed to ensure that your care is exceptional. Words cannot express what a phenomenal doctor he is.

I've often told people Dt. Richards saved my life. Seen him for back pain and he did an ekg right there in the office. Long story short he found a bad heart problem. His being thorough saved me! I hope he knows while im not seeing him now i still think he's the most caring, thorough around!

I have had Dr. Richards for over 15 years. He is a very thoughtful and caring person. Every problem I've encountered he has seen to it that I get the right test to find the problem. He takes time to listen and is very kind. His staff is very pleasant also. Grateful for all his help in my medical needs. I highly recommend him.

I have only been to Dr. Richards one time, and that is because, I was looking for a Dr. that knew a lot about panic attacks and insomnia and he excepted me. I was very impressed with the staff, including nurses there. My experience was great because he knew a lot about these things and he is getting down to the bottom of them instead of just throwing a bunch of things on me. I have been dealing with this for over 20 years, so this in not my first rodeo to know if a Dr. knows about them.

Dr Richards is a very compassionate physician. He really listens and is very thorough.
