Dr. Steven Miles Levine

This is by far the worst doctor office I have been to in my life. I have a torn plantar fasci and on crutches the women at the front desk wouldn’t even hold the door for me to get out after the appointment. When I got in the exam room the doctor is in a motor wheel chair can’t close the door. I told her I have a few medical problems I would like to talk to her about she tells me no I can only do one a visit. She sneezed and didn’t wash her hands. I was told to wait in the waiting room to see if I can get approved for a mri. After about 20 minutes the realized I was still there and told me they would call me. I didn’t get all the prescriptions I was supposed to because they forgot to send one in. I told the desk I need a appointment for the following week and they never made it. When I called it was like I was a new patient. And I won’t get into just the straight disrespectful call I had to go through. This is by far the worst doctor office I have been to in my life. I had the most pleasant experience at this office! Every aspect of my visit was truly everything I look for when I go to doctors offices. Scheduling was nice and easy, I got an appointment within a week. At first I was hesitant to make the appointment because I was recommended to see Dr.Levine and was told that he is not seeing new patients. The receptionist was welcoming, professional and kind. I’m so glad that I gave the nurse practitioner Gabrielle Romero a chance because she was so thorough and patient with me. The medical assistant was also very gentle and kind. She made me feel comfortable and at ease while drawing my blood and during my EKG. I’ve already recommended this office to my family and friends. I had the most pleasant experience at this office! Kind & caring

This practice has been so good over the years that it hurts to report the terrible change that's taken place. They recently partnered with NY Winthrop Hospital & ever since it's a nightmare! The calls no longer go to Dr. Levine's office but to Winthrop who takes a message & advises that you 'should' receive a call back within a hour but don't hold your breath. My granddaughter called for a prescription renewal and after calling for two weeks was in tears! I finally got the office on the phone (calling before hours) and they said Winthrop never relayed the message! Isn't that nice that now you don't deal with the doctor's office but Winthrop? I'm sure this was a financial reason for this merger but a very, very bad one for patients! I would stay far away as the changes made by Winthrop impact every patient negatively! I've already found a new doctor locally who is amazing! One door shuts & another opens (but not to Dr. Levine's office)!

I have been a patient here since 1993. My entire family are patients at this office. Never a long wait. Friendly staff. I would recommend this practice.
