Caring, intelligent and thorough...he takes the time to review your medical record before he sees you and spends time explaining all tests results and disease processes...excellent primary physician

I have been a patient for nearly 19 years. I travel from Richmond to Deltaville to see Dr. Ransone and for good reason.....he is the best Doctor I have ever had the pleasure to look forward to go seeing. This man takes his time, he gives me all tests and then some to make sure I am as healthy as I can be given my condition. But perhaps the reason I am so impressed is because he takes the time to listen, and understand and in turn explains and answers all my questions. So many of my friends in Richmond complain because when they see THEIR doctor, they feel as though they are nothing more than a number, and then I tell them why I don't mind the drive which is over 100 miles. From in office minor surgeries or the common cold, or cancer, he has been one of the best and kindest doctors I have ever had; and God knows, I have seen plenty in my lifetime! To top it off, his nursing staff is top notch; if I ever have a question, regardless of the day or time I can call and always get help! Dr Ransone is a very knowledgeable, straight talking professional who is always willing to take the time to answer any question. I have asked many and am always happy with his responses. I have moved farther away from him and keep him as my PCP because he is worth the extra drive. I highly recommend him to anyone. His support staff is also top notch.
