I’ve been to numerous pain management doctors and not one helped me. Dr. Nambiar has been the best pain management doctor I’ve ever been to. She listens to every complaint and concern. She’s easy going and straight forward. If something isn’t working for you, she’s willing to work with you to find solutions. She has helped me so much over the years, I can’t thank her enough. Also, the staff is polite and accommodating. Stephanie the secretary is awesome. She’ll work out anything for you. Great experience, and highly recommend.

This office is clean, they give out fast appointments and they are courteous. Highly recommend.

I found Dr. Nambiar to be patient and she listened to my complaints. She gave me options to avoid surgery and so far it has worked out well. My pain is significantly reduced. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs an excellent pain management doctor. Thank you Dr. Nambiar.

Dr. Seema Nambiar is not a US educated physician. She lacks skills required to be a good doctor. Her office double bills and run some kind of a scam. She unnecessarily gave me high dosage of Narcotics. If I did not stop going to her I would be a drug addict by now, I have been to two of her other locations and I have seen her arrogance and poor bed side manners. Horrible doctor; her office is a horror show. She was on the phone the whole time I was there speaking to her boyfriend about designer shoes she wanted. Completely shame less doctor. UPDATE: I am disgusted by this sham doctor's lies and deceit. After gulping hefty fees from me and my insurance this worthless woman has the audacity to state that I wasn't her patient. The fact remains that she doesn't spend more than few minutes with most patients, has sham treatments to cheat the insurance companies and is always pushing for treatments for which insurance companies pay more money (even if the patient doesn't need those treatments). I was referred to Dr. Nambiar for my fibromyalgia. I am so happy to have found her as she is helping me get through this terrible disease with shots, pain patches etc. I have been suffering for quite sometime and with her help and direction I am beginning to feel better. Dr Nambiar is an amazing dr. I was referred to her by another dr. I walked in, and she made me feel at ease and comfortable. I have neck and back problems. She's a fantastic Doctor with a really friendly staff. Took the time to understand where my pain was coming from and thoroughly explained what the best treatment options were for me. I went to her for some lower back pain. After an MRI I got a few cortisone shots and an exercise regimen to follow. I haven't had any issues for several months now. I've been suffering from low back pain since early 2016, I've been to multiple doctors and not one has helped me.. I recently went to see Dr.Nambiar in Commack, she gave me an injection and script to physical therapy.. she definitely has magic hands, because the day after the injection I felt relief. I'm a auto mechanic, so I do a lot of physical labor.The office visit was quick, since the receptionist sent me a link to my email to do the new patient paperwork online. Dr. Nambiar is an excellent physician. I am her patient of many years and have recommended her to many others. I see a lot of reviewers claiming she gives out high dose meds, but that is simply not true. If you call her office, her staff tells new patients on the phone that meds WILL NOT be dispensed in the first visit. Furthermore, she provides a detailed initial consult and does accept patients who only seek meds. If you are interested in getting better, trying the latest treatments, etc. go and see her. I have been a patient of Dr. Nambiar for many years and I can honestly say that she is truly one of a kind. Living with back injuries and chronic pain for almost 20 years I have seen countless doctors, therapists, chiropractors etc. and Dr. Nambiar is by far the brightest, most professional, caring and genuine of them all. I began seeing her several years ago at a previous practice and sadly was unable to follow her when she left. When I heard that she had went into her own practice I was overjoyed and immediately made an appointment. After my first visit she actually called personally to make sure I was ok. Anytime I needed her thereafter she was personally reachable and that is something that I’ve never experienced before with any doctor. Not to put anyone else down, but getting a doctor on the phone is no easy task and many will never give you that courtesy regardless of urgency. I’ve had countless procedures over the past decade and a half, many of which were epidural injections and there is absolutely no comparison between the care she provides and other practitioners I’ve visited; I tell her all the time that she’s got magic hands and I am astounded by how pain free HER method is. Her office is spotless, the wait time is practically non existent and her willingness to help is a breath of fresh air. She has done wonders for my mobility and overall quality of life and for that I can’t thank her enough. If you don’t know her she may seem a little intimidating but I assure you it’s just her natural expression as her bedside manner is great. I didn’t want to make this into a novel, but I really can’t say enough good things about her and when I saw some of the negative reviews it literally angered me because they are flat out lies. I have referred several other patients to her and she has helped every single one more so than any doctors prior. If you are looking for some pill pushing quack that will do anything for money don’t even bother, she is not the doctor for you. Had 2 epidurals and 3 trigger point injections and Dr Nambiar is technically superb, relieved my spinal stenosis pains and would never go anywhere else. Also has a wonderful caring but laid back bedside manner.

Dr Nambiar is one special lady. I came into her office , with nothing but a name from a referring Dr. Dr Nambiar listened to my issues, and sent me for an MRI and X-ray. My pain was real. Not in my head, not stress. It was real degenerative pain from my neck. Dr Nambiar explained my options. I’m on a PT regiment and medicine. I see her every 2 weeks. She is kind, professional and most importantly she listens. I highly recommend this wonderful woman for all your pain and more.

Dr Nambiar is an excellent, caring, physician. I have been seeing her as-needed for the last 10 years, and I've followed her through three offices in two different counties. She always takes time with me, goes over my options, and we figure out a plan together. She is one of three people I trust in this world to touch my back. Recently, I had a near-death experience. When I told her what had happened, she had a genuine, emotional, response. I'll never see anyone but her.

Dr. Nambiar is very nice and caring. She also has a friendly staff. Took the time to understand where my pain was coming from and thoroughly explained what the best treatment options were for me. I went to her for some lower back pain. After an MRI and a detailed workup, I got a few shots and an exercise routine to follow. She advised against pain meds and I haven't had any issues for several months now. I was very pleased and referred a few friends and family.

DR Nambiar is by far the WORST pain management doctor I have ever seen! First time I see her she barges in with an attitude and says " Can I help you with something?" and as I am speaking she cuts me off and says I can't help you. I don't prescribe the amount of opiods you are on. I told her do not treat me like a drug addict I' am not here for just pills. I want all around pain management, I have Lupus, RA large herniated discs and I am in serious pain a daily basis. DO NOT SEE HER!

I had severe hip pain for a long time. Several MRIs through another doctor resulted in some trips to a physical therapist, but no significant improvement. I need to walk a lot as part of my profession, and the hip pain was making that very difficult. The other doctor said a condition on the MRI was not significant. Based on my description of the pain, Dr. Nambiar determined the condition was causing the pain. Dr. Nambiar treated the actual problem, and I quickly felt much better. Dr. Seema Nambiar was spectacular in her detailed evaluation! I met with Dr. Nambiar regarding knee pain after an injury during a family football game. Immediately, she knew it could be quite serious and referred me to a radiologist for an MRI. I had torn my ACL! Throughout the process of recovery from ACL surgery, I continued to see Dr. Nambiar who was terrific with recommendations of physical therapy techniques and keeping my pain to a minimum. Based on a referral from my primary care, I have seen Dr. Nambiar several times over the past few months for a shoulder injury. I had been on a prescription anti-inflammatory for several weeks prior to seeing her with little results. Through a series of injections, a new combination of medications and physical therapy, she got my shoulder back on track. I had such a positive experience– including ease of scheduling appointments and the fact that they were 90% on time– that I have decided to switch to her for pain management of chronic lower back pain and sciatica from a herniated disc. I have had severe sciatica and neck pain for the past 2 years have been receiving injections from another specialist with OK relief. My friend recommended I see Dr. Nambiar. I thought the injections were all the same, but she took the time to speak to me and understand exactly where I was having pain. She seemed to really care, which is rare nowadays.
