I wouldn’t patronize any dental office where the hygienist opposes masks as a way of preventing the transmission of disease.

There is no way I would go here until he fires Amelia King AND doesn’t help her in any way to get a job anywhere else. She is a menace to society.

Although one employee may have a different opinion on making kids wear masks in school who threatened to bring her firearms up to the schools. It still makes me and others wonder.. Does this practice follow their masks mandates while drilling and cleaning over all. Be careful who you staff… It’s also a reflection on your practice.

Oftentimes, the greater risk with schools is a lone wolf shooter or other mentally-unstable child who has a developing brain and severe mental illness that somehow has access to guns. In this case, we have a grown adult who, when angered, threatened to use violence and loaded weapons to intimidate and get her way. This would be unacceptable in any normal conversational interaction, but when the threat is combined with young children and a school full of kids - this is where the personal grievance becomes dangerous. In conflicts between adults, no one should ever threaten to shoot up a school or imply that they will intimidate others by threatening them with loaded weapons on school property. This is a danger to the children at the school and shows that we have not progressed beyond barbaric fistfights to settle our differences in public forums. The pen is mightier than the loaded gun when it comes to arguments - force does not make you a winner in life. Please think of the kids and most importantly, please take care of your mental health when getting in heated arguments like this. Guns are for hunting and self defense - never to be used to threaten others to get our way in arguments. Gun Safety 101, people.

These folks writing these reviews are not patients of Dr. Ruffner. I have been to his practice for the past 20+ years. 98 percent of my visits have been routine checkups, but I have on occasion had a few fillings and even one root canal and crown. All services and visits were extremely professional. The comments about a Amelia have absolutely nothing to do with the quality of care here.

I’ve been a happy patient at this office for 30+ years, they have always been professional and very proactive with my dental health. The Team is courteous and mindful of my time. The office is spacious, tidy and always inviting. I will continue to trust Ruffner Family Dentistry for all my dental needs. Whatsoever happens in heated frustration in one’s personal life shouldn’t be brought back into their profession and it doesn’t change my view of someone I’ve known for so long. Ones track record over the years doesn’t change because of a moment of anger, nor should it.

Horrible!!!! They admit they don’t wear masks or believe in science and medical protocols. The dental hygienist publicly stated she has loaded guns- GUNS plural around with her at all times. She was recently charged with serious threats to her children's school board and teachers and students. The school has had to hire extensive security after her threats. She doesn’t wear masks or wash her hands- who would go to a Dentist that employs this domestic terrorist? The FBI were alerted to how violet and unstable this individual is.

Amelia, the daughter of the dentist and also employed by “Doctor” Ruffner, threatened to shoot up her child’s school over a much needed mask requirement. She works in the medical field yet doesn’t believe in science? Makes me question the quality of care her father would receive. Does he believe in basic health principles?
