I love Dr Scott Hastings and his team. He listens and is down to earth. I deal with a lady there called Charlene for appointments and referrals. She goes the extra mile for the patient.

I have been going to this clinic for annual check ups for over 2 years. Dr Scott does not shy away from complimenting traditional medicine with holistic methods. For a general physician office, this clinic is always my first stop.

Very shocking, deal with the patients in a very very bad way & unacceptable manner. Patients are seeing a doctor for a medical complaint or reason, doctors should help their patients not add to their suffering. Run run run , all team does not want to work with their patients. Neither the front desk nor the physician. I wish I can give less than a one star for a doctor that doesn’t respect his patient after 5 years , his patients that have been changing plans & insurances just because they thought he was going to help them with their health issues.

Very unsatisfactory, I am completely unpleased. Very very unprofessional. He picks his patient according to their background and culture. He is not willing to help his patients. He picks on patients.His front office gave us hard time with scheduling, referrals, medication, basically everything you need from a physician.

Dr. Hasting staff are very happy and friendly people. On my first visit I was greeted by name with a smile. I love Charlene when I called she starts laughing because I laugh all the time too. Dr. Hasting is a kind and sweet man. I’m recommending my family and friends to go see him.

From the Amazing Front office staff to the Awesome MA’s and NP Grace, they are a breath of fresh air. Always listening and validating your concerns… it’s completely different method to medical treatment. You have full control of your health and have a proactive team to help you every step of the way. 04/14/2022 Clinic manager called me to explain they are working towards fixing the system glitches and reduce the burden on their patients. Feedback appreciated. 04/13/2022 Reducing (temporarily?) rating for the clinic due to ongoing glitches brought by the new system been implemented (had to provide my personal info and address about 4 times in the last couple of months) as well as the delays in handling prescriptions for their patients. ---------------------- Have been a patient of Dr. Hastings for several years now. Dr. Hastings has been my family's doctor for about 7 years. We are currently enrolled in 7 Health and Dr. Hastings has been everything the plan listed. He has met us at the office late in the evening to do stitches, set broken fingers, he always answers our weekend calls, he's just been wonderful! I feel the same about his physician's assistant Grace. His staff is super sweet, helpful and always calls us to remind us of our appointments. I just signed up for a new health plan and in looking, I wouldn't even consider a plan that would not allow me to keep Dr. Hastings as my doctor. I just can't recommend him enough!! After paying their copay and scheduling a phone appointment, this office sent me a non editable PDF to be filled out. Being in between homes, as our home is not yet built and having a day old newborn, I was unable to print the document and return it. My appointment came around and I received no call. I called the office and they told me (as an IT professional) the document should be editable, I assured them it's not. They then said I would have to come in and fill out in person, completely negating the request I had for a telephone appointment. The staff are rude and inhumane, as my child is at risk now because they won't treat me, due to their flawed clerical procedure policies. This is no way to treat a human being, much less a Veteran. Dr Hastings is amazing. Spends plenty of time and explains things thoroughly. He also is an advocate of natural remedies which I like. Who likes to take prescription meds if you do not have to?? I know I don't. Highly recommend him.

Sits with a laptop without looking at you, probably looking up your symptoms on the Mayo Clinic site. Not very useful when he does diagnose the symptoms he typed in. I have been seen once by his nurse practitioner. She diagnosed me with acute cold and sent home to drink a lot of liquid, in fact I had pneumonia and suffered 4 days before returning to the office and requested a referral for x-rays. I scheduled my annual physical months ahead, but when the time has came they rescheduled it twice assigning the visit to the same nurse that misdiagnosed me without even asking. I was visiting the doctor for my annual physical and asked for some sleeping medicine, as result was charged for entire separate visit. I have been seen once by his nurse practitioner. Just came to see dr. Hastings and everything I heard about him it’s true he takes good care of his pacients thank you very much dr. And many blessings.

So glad to have found our new family doctor.

Had a great experience with Dr. Hastings. He's truly a very knowledable and thorough doctor. He really listens to your problems and willing to try natural supplements. The staff at Family Medine Plus are very polite and professional too.

While Dr. Hastings is a nice, compassionate Doctor, his staff is VERY unreliable! They NEVER answer the phone, NEVER returns a call and it takes weeks if not MONTHS for a prescription refill, referral or anything else you need them to do. I've spoken to Dr. Hastings about his staff with no resolve! This is the WORST staff I've EVER come across and I've even worked in a doctors office and have never come across a facility that is so unresponsive... Definitely would NOT RECOMMEND

Dr. Hastings is a great doctor who cares about his staff and patients and this really shows in the general atmosphere. I have severe allergy problem and I tried 4 other doctors since I've lived in Frisco and Dr. Scott is by far the best. All the staffs are very helpful, kind and caring. I would recommend Dr. Hastings and Family Medicine Plus to everyone!

My wife and I were looking for a doctor who accepts Medicare, fortunately, our chiropractor recommended Dr. Hastings. We have visited his clinic in Frisco a few times now and we are so happy with him, his receptionist, his nurse and other personnel, they are all so caring and dedicated to the patients. Dr. Hastings really listens and you sense his determination in finding the source of the problem and the proper treatment for it. Great clinic!

This is an update to my August 24, 2017 review. Dr. Hastings personally called me regarding my comments. He was very interested in helping to meet my needs and made sure I am able to continue receiving my allergy serum from his office in Frisco, TX. He took the time to inquire how I was doing on the serum and also advised me. I received my allergy serum from him within four days. I am grateful to have Dr. Hastings as my physician for my allergy issues. Thank you so much.

Poor patient service . We showed up on time and after 20 minutes the nurse said he can't see us and asked us to come back or reschedule another time . I will change this doctor because he care less about his patients.

I had to find another doctor due to changing insurance plans. Dr. Hastings was a good find. He's open to questions, explains things well and identified a meds issue that other doctors had not. I have been able to get appointments quickly. I like the DO philosophy as well.

Dr. Hastings practices medicine the way medicine is supposed to be practiced. He is not in a hurry, treats the entire patient, listens, explains, and answers questions. I wish there were more like him.

Dr. Hastings is very personable and always takes the time to answer any questions. He never hurries you and makes you feel like you had a quality visit. He always has a range of options to offer (from holistic to conventional) for treatments if you have a need. The office staff is very friendly and I definitely feel comfortable going there, as does my whole family. Being relatively new to the area, I feel fortunate to have found a family practitioner we all like and respect.

I went to Dr. Hastings for the first time in June for a routine physical. His staff was very helpful, organized and efficient. Dr. Hastings was very thorough and unrushed in the exam, spending considerable time listening to me and discussing my health and family health history. I liked and understood his recommendations, and felt that he was genuinely interested. He seemed measured and thoughtful in what he prescribed (versus ordering up a bunch of unnecessary tests).

If you've ever gone to a doctor and felt frustrated and confused when you left then you probably avoid going as much as possible. Dr Hastings takes that anxiety out of seeing him. His staff is very friendly. He takes time to listen and asks pertinent questions. And when I found out he even does pediatrics I was ecstatic. I will be taking my whole family there from now on! Thank you Dr Hastings for giving me faith in doctors!!

From the time I checked in to the time I checked out I felt like I was part of the family. The staff was very nice; they didn't interrupt me when I asked questions about my insurance. The nurse was very kind and even offered me water when I couldn't stop coughing. Once I met Dr. Hastings he was very sincere, he didn't rush me, and even called me a few days later to check in. I returned a week later with my son and he was equally as nice and was able to make my 3 year old laugh when checking him.

This is an old school doctor practicing medicine in the year 2016! He takes his time to explain in detail everything we go over during my visit. No rush at all like most assembly room doctor offices. Dr. Scott listens and asks me what I think about his options for medicine to get me on track. His nurse is AMAZING as well. The whole office takes the term bed side manner to a whole new level. Frisco, TX is very lucky to have him!

Was seen as new patient. Reception was great, went back to exam room within 5 minutes of arrival. Dr. Hastings was in the exam room within 5 minutes, and he spent an hour, making sure he had all the details of my medical history. He did a very detailed exam. He has to be the best Doctor I have ever been to!! Very nice, easy to talk to, and GREAT all around!

Dr. Hastings was very thorough.

Freely prescribes medications for bipolar patients and gives zero consultation and follow up. No concern for patients well being. Mental health issues go unaddressed and no referrals to psychiatric care.
