Dr. Saumitra R Banerjee

I feel very comfortable with Dr. Banerjee and his team. They explain everything ! Dr. Banerjee is vey caring and it shows!!

I felt very informed and his team is awesome.

Ability to communicate well and answers all concerns with much detail, never rushing through appointments. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy surgeon.

I recently left a question for Dr. Banerjee with a member of his office staff. He called me back the next day. Unfortunately, I was not home, but he left a message which answered my question. I very much appreciated the prompt response. I called his office back, asking them to tell him I understood his answer. I have been a satisfied colonoscopy patient of Dr. Banerjee since 2002 and plan to have my next colonoscopy done by him in 2022.

Dr banerjee is a superb and caring surgeon. His office management as of Nov 2020 leaves much to be desired. Two scheduled virtual appointments were broken by their office staff 9(Lee). When I called I was told they tried to contact me ( as I sat and waited with my phone). They were not truthful in their responses and I need to unfortunately find another GI provider as Dr Banerjee is STELLAR

Dr Banerjee is an exceptional person and doctor. His years of experience and wisdom are invaluable but it is also his kind manor that is second to none. His qualities are a rare find and so appreciated.

I have had multiple surgeries w Dr. Banerjee. I have had second opinions and everything he has recommended has been confirmed by others in his field. He is a kind and caring man. Also very skilled and well regarded by other medical professionals.

Dr. Banerjee has been my Doctor for 30 yrs +. He is a great Gastroenterologist!!! The BEST!!!! His bedside manners are great, he is easy to talk to and the girls at the Plainville office are the best!! (that's were I go) I would highly recommend Dr. Banerjee!!! Thank You, Kim E Trott

Receptionist couldn't care less about your problems. Scheduler couldn't care less if you lived or died if you ever succeed in reaching her. I love the doctor, but he needs to fire his arrogant, absent, insensitive staff.

Dr. Banerjee performed my colon resection in 2006. I have never had a problem since. His personality and bedside manner were phenomenol and he comes highly recommended by colleagues in his field. He has done literally thousands of these types of surgery and I would trust him with my life!

Dr. Banerjee treated my accute ulcerative colitis in 1991-1993. He was gentle, informative and knowledgeable. His bedside manner is second to none. I have been healthy ever since and would recommend he and his practice without hesitation. Dr. Banerjee saved my life - and I am not exaggerating.
