First time there, new patient , had a minor emergency seen promptly. Wonderful experience, great staff, engaging and pleasant! Wonderful environment, Dr Sara was down to earth with such a lovely chair side manner! I am thinking my wife and I have found our new dental practice for life!

Been going to Island Dental for many years and they never disappoint. Doc Sarah and the whole staff are friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They can make a root canal seem like a trip to Disneyworld!

Dr. Aufferheide gets 5 stars. She listens when you have an issue. Her staff is courteous & professional.

Don’t bother unless it’s your only option. Ouch.

I went to Dr. Aufderheide for 5 years. No cavities were ever found while she was my dentist. I moved and started using another dentist, who was highly upset that he found 5 cavities, 2 of which were extremely deep. He assumed I hadn’t been to the dentist in many years, which was not the case as I had been seeing Dr. Aufderheide. 5 cavities could have easily been prevented with the proper imaging and competence from the staff. Dr.Sarah, Fantastic dentist always caring about you as a patient.I am so happy after fifty years to go forward with teeth on both sides of my mouth.I was real nervous to get this done.Now that I have it.Im one thousand percent satisfied with this.The fit on my teeth is unbelievable and Dr.Sarah made it happen for me.Five star review for her and her assistant Stephanie. As a needle-phobic I can honestly say Dr.Sarah is one of the best. I don't worry about seeing her. She is very conscious of my needlephobia and does what she needs to do to comfort me. I trust her.

I was really surprised to see some of the negative reviews on this site. I have been a patient for almost 5 years and have always been treated with the utmost professionalism. The Dentists and technicians are thorough and always take time to answer questions. If a procedure is needed beyond the typical cleaning and checkup, a written treatment plan with costs is provided BEFORE you schedule that service. Island Dental Studio is wonderful. The staff is lovely and Dr. Aufderheide makes my whole family feel like we are the only patients. Everything is explained. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Auferheide since before she opened her own practice. She is the best dentist that I have ever been to. She treats my whole family now. I recommend her to everyone I meet.

Dr. Aufderheide and other dentist very good. However, the Office Manager is a complete rude, nasty person to deal with. Billing rep seemed incompetent. She referred me to the Office Manager who refused to go over invoice with me. When I requested to speak wirht Dr. Aufderheide she screamed at me and threatened to send me to a collection agency even though I have been a patient there for more then 10 years and have never paid a bill late. I have sent several faxes and asked to have Dr. Aufderheide call me and I have heard nothing back. Unfortunately, due to office staff not dental staff I would NOT recommend this practice. I will be looking for a new dentist on Kent Island. Dr. Aufderheide and other dentist very good. However, the Office Manager is a complete rude, nasty person to deal with.
