The only bad thing I have to say is that I wish I would have found Dr. Shihamoto 6 years ago. I have had a constant breakout on my left foot since 2015. I have seen 4 dermatologists and 3 podiatrists before my primary care doctor finally recommended Dr. Shihamoto. Over the years I’ve been told it was psoriasis, fungus and whatever else you can name. I’ve had biopsies and been on steroids but it never fully went away. One doctor actually told me I will have to wear socks and hide it for the rest of my life! I was soaking my foot every night and using a steroid ointment to help calm it. If I forgot to use the ointment, it would crack and bleed and was painful to walk on. Dr. Shihamoto was kind and did all the necessary pre tests and blood work and diagnosed it as eczema. He prescribed dupixent and 2 months later my foot is healed and I haven’t had a single breakout! He is the BEST doctor! I cant even describe how happy I an That I can Once again wear flip flops. Thank you! Never have I met a physician like Dr Shimamoto who is not only EXTREMELY knowledgeble, with excellent clinical skills, but also has a heart and compassion for his patients. I had extremely difficult sinus issues, he worked through the symptoms, and ultimately found a solution. His PA's are great, as are the office staff. A wonderful practice that truly makes you feel like you are part of a family. Thank you Santan Allergy for the excellent care!!!

By far the best allergist I have ever seen. He is a problem solver who listens with compassion and empathy.

Dr. Shimamoto and his nurse Kathy were both wonderful. I met Kathy first and she put me at ease when I was having so much trouble with the breathing test and continued to be very kind through the rest of the appointment. Then I met Dr, Shimamoto who was also very kind and caring. He listened to me and understood how frustrated I was with being sick so much. He said he would get to the bottom of it. I appreciated that he showed concern for me and wanted to begin a plan that would get me better.

Too busy taking co-pays than wanting to reschedule my appointment.

Dr Shimamoto and all of his staff are excellent! They are very friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and caring every step of the way. They made our appointment very enjoyable and answered all our questions thoroughly. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Shimamoto is EXCELLENT along with his staff John Gedell, PAC and others. My personal physician did not catch my bacterial infection&other issues. I struggled to breath. Went to an Allergist, 1st time in my life. SAN TAN ALLERGY & ASTHMA, Dr. Shimamoto put me under a battery of tests and quickly found several problems. After 3 weeks of medication and treatment I feel much better. They all have a very professional manner, kind, listening and awesome follow-up & costs are very reasonable.

Fantastic, caring, intuitive Doctor, with refreshing bedside manners. I am in the health field and it is wonderful to see a Doctor who cares, is informative, who is able to relay information in lay terms, who clearly loves what he does and does it exceedingly well.
