Dr Phipps is an excellent Physician. He has been our family’s physician for over 10 years. He took care of our parents during their last years. Friendly and professional. Always answers my questions. Dr. Phipps is a true doctor, not just a prescription writer. He listens and cares.

Have been seeing Dr. Phipps for years. He is professional and thorough. Never have to wait long and staff is always very friendly. Like the hometown feel of being able to get an appointment quickly.

Unwilling to listen to patients - very dismissive - do not recommend. This man needs to hang up his hat and retire. Patients voices should be heard- that is not what happens at this clinic. Oh and his receptionist is a real peach too!

Always the best service!

The best Dr in NWA

This Dr is very dismissive and does not listen to his patients. He needs to retire. I feel he's lost the patience and the willingness to listen to what his patients needs are. His nurses are great, all but that one at the front desk- she seems to have the same chip on her shoulder as Dr. Phipps.

Very thorough and concerned listens to the problem explains treatment and takes time to follow-up if needed. Highly recommend them, office staff are great. Office staff was kind. Dr. Phipps took care of me promptly and I was able to get an appointment about an hour after I called. We are moving to his practice. Very impressed.

I woke up feeling very achy with trouble breathing , I didn’t have a regular physician so i went to clinic in BellaVista ( close to home) I arrived at 8:10am they open at 8 was second in line … The receptionist didn’t even look up from her computer as she asked me what the problem was I told her I was having trouble breathing and that’s all I got out she cut me off and asked for my insurance and then gave me a link and sent me to my car I tried to look at the link up to fill out paperwork with absolutely no help I tried to call her for a question knowing she was the only one in as it was first thing in the morning she would not answer her phone I walked back up to the door as I am sick mind you and it was locked I am pounding on the door asking her what am I supposed to do she looked up finally an elderly lady inside let me in I said do we have to continue to wait in our car it’s been an hour she said yes and the lady said really? I said yes I don’t know when I’ve been treated worse so I called my daughter who recommended Dr. Phipps it could not have been more different I was feeling really down and they restored my faith in actual caring people, The receptionist made me an appointment helped me fill out the paperwork and kept apologizing for the delay in time it made me feel very important how much they cared I was so relieved that people like them still exist, I got right in with no weight they were also very friendly and made me feel like a person and not a number Dr. Phipps came in introduced himself shook my hand and had conversation with me Eye 2 Eye not rushed and ask me very specific questions about my health looked over my history asked me about my parents health how I was sleeping and assured me if there’s anything they could do it all just give him a call if I need him I would recommend him in the highest regard! My son works at the hospital and also works with him and said he is in hospitality he is a fine physician! More interested in sending me to NW Regional for all kinds of age related tests other than paying attention to why I was there. Seems tired.

Yelled at me interupting my statement of why I was there before even asking me to sit. A person came in and checked my blood pressure while I was standing there trying to tell him the purpose for my visit. No care for a severe pain issue other than suggest I take Tylenol and do physical therapy. Did not even look at this area of pain. Refused to have area re x-rayed since time of accident. Everyone was awesome like usual. Dr. Phipps has treated me and my family for years. I couldn’t wish for a better doctor.

Dr Phipps has treated my husband and I over five years now. I love that his office knows who we are when we walk in. He takes the time to explain our test and keeps up with our needs medically. We have never had a problem. We enjoy Carol and his nursing staff and receptionist. We thank them for taking great care of our medical needs.

I went in for a second opinion and Dr Phipps was so compassionate and caring in regards to my concerns, he took the time to discuss every concern that I had and didn’t make me feel rushed because he was on a 15 minute time limit. I highly recommend Dr Phipps as your PCP if you have any interest in seeing a doctor that really has an interest in your overall health. His entire staff was very friendly and welcoming which made my overall experience extremely comfortable. Dr Phipps will bring you in just to write you a script for blood work, for a pharmaceutical that you have been taking for 4 years... btw, they don't do the blood work, you have to go elsewhere. Then, he will MAKE you come in for an appointment to review your blood work, even if it is all completely normal. I have NEVER had a doctor do this, if my blood work is normal, I can be told by phone. He held the pharmaceutical script hostage until I followed these steps. Of course, he charges for both appointments at a tune of $150 per visit, so a simple script cost you $300 plus whatever you pay for the meds at the pharmacy. He also asks me the same "history" questions EVERY TIME I go in there, like what the original issue was... even though he has that on his screen and files and should honestly remember just by seeing the patient. I think his time has passed, he seems to be spacey at best. The gal at the front checkin you in is pretty kind, but the lady checking out was unsociable. It's not a busy office and I can see why. Office staff was super friendly and the doctor himself was knowledgeable and willing to help. We recently moved to the area and we are glad we found a place close to home. We would definitely recommend this clinic to everyone in the area.

Very happy with Dr. Phipps and his staff...... very unhappy with your central scheduling and I am considering having my test done with another hospital system. I saw Dr. Phipps last Thursday at 2 PM central scheduling called me Friday at 7:45 PM to tell me to call them 9 to 5 Monday through Friday to schedule my tests. I was to have a chest x-ray immediately for shortness of breath but was unable to schedule it as yet Monday 1 PM. Alternative was to go to the Mergen see room pay high fees and possible large amount out-of-pocket because of inept central scheduling. I will probably ask Dr. Phipps to refer me out of your system next time. Should have read go to the emergency room which of course would result in much higher fees, is that the plan? Appointment availability is never an issue and always seen in clinic on-time. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Phipps takes his time explaining his professional opinion and works well with children. Love the small-town clinic feel.

This doctors office is so amazing! I highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone that I run in to! Wonderful place ! Dr. Phipps is by far one of the best . His service impeccable! My disabled sister just became a patient of Dr. Phipps and after the first visit that morning in his office by noon lunch time he already home health at our home running test and making sure physical therapy and wound care were in place to take care of my sister's needs. I have seen Dr. Phipps for over 4 years now and find him to be caring, kind and always willing to help his patients. Many times I have been seen on same day. His staff is excellent as well.

I went in and got prescribed something that made me very sick. I called to get on a different prescription and they wanted me to make another appointment. Mind you I have no insurance so they wanted another $150 just to change prescriptions. What a joke, nice knowing, to get better all they care about is money!!
