I hear wonderful things about this practice for people that are able to get into an appointment slot but you cannot get in for a long time. I was just told they are booking out to end of July/August. We tried a year ago and it was the same thing.

I've always had such a great experience with the receptionists and nurses/PA's here. I also loved Dr. Jurzyk when I had him. However, Dr. Zimkus is a whole different experience. She rushes me in and out of the office within minutes and is a bit condescending when I express my concerns. Other than that, this place is very friendly:)

Needed a refill on Medicine for my skin during the pandemic. Office told me David would not renew the prescription unless I came in for a office visit. Being concerned about exposure, I've waited to make a appointment. Call the office today, was told the soonest appointment I could have is in May, over 5 months away. I am not a new patient having been going there for years. Or should I say was a patient. I need to find an office and doctors that are more concerned about my care . Me and my family been a patient for many years but every single time we call the office to make an appointment it’s always a 7 to 8 Months waiting time too book a appointment. The operator or their office staff. very uncompassionate also now I haven’t been in the office for several years because every single time we call there’s always a seven or eight month waiting time having problems now. But the office wants to refer me to a different dermatology Dr. very unprofessional Harley not recommended Dr. needs to reevaluate his staff who is working for him needs better manners when talking to a patient over the phone before making an appointment with this dermatology office please look up reviews and take him for what they’re worth. If you are a new patient I would not recommend. They made me wait three months for an appointment and didn’t tell me if I should wait in the car for covid. I arrived on time and tried to be polite and wait in the car for my appointment while calling to let you know them know i was there. But they didn’t pick up and then I got out of my car and walked around the confusing property trying to find the entrance. Finally after finding the entrance and calling and calling I was 17 minutes late even though I arrived on time. The staff was rude and I was supposed to see a doctor and they tried to lie to me and offer me a PA instead. Then they said they could not schedule me for another 4 months. I would expect higher level service from the staff for first time patients but I guess they have enough current patients they don’t need new ones anymore and it shows. The doctor was friendly but the staff are incredibly rude. Over the phone and in person they were unkind and impatient with me and my mother. I am glad to know that I was not alone in this experience.

Doctors are wonderful but staff is very rude. One receptionist couldn't hear me because of my mask and yelled at me for it using a condescending tone as I was standing in the lobby. It was very embarrassing! Do not recommend!!!

Everything was perfect... it always is.

Very helpful with my skin care needs and with Good results. The doctor gave me great tips on my daily routine and understood not wanting to use pills for acne.

I got a hydrafacial from Iole & I also go to her for my laser hair removal as well & she’s amazing! One of the best facials I’ve ever gotten! My skin looks amazing & I've gotten so many compliments. I can’t wait to come back for more facials!

Should not even give this place 1 star, rip off!!!! They just want to collect copays. They just wrote me a script less than 3 months ago with 2 more refills. Tried to refill my prescription and they cancelled my remaining 2 refills and said I needed to be seen by a doctor again. For what? I've been using these meds for years. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Excellent doctor and staff!

Iole is simply the best RN/BSN in CT. I'm so glad to see her with a great group at Advanced Dermatology!

I've been going to Iole for many years and wouldn't trust anyone else with my skin care needs. She is kind and takes the extra time to make it a pleasant experience every time I come to the office. The staff is so friendly and happy to help. I would recommend Iole and her whole team to anyone!

I love the Spa at Advanced Dermatology! Carol always treats me with such care and is so knowledgable about skin and makeup. I have redness and acne prone skin and my skin is glowing after using her recommended regimen and foundation. Her facials are relaxing and leave my skin so happy. Ron and his staff are incredibly warm and professional. The center is clean and efficient with friendly receptionists. I felt at ease the moment I stepped through the door and was so happy with the service I received from start to finish. I was at Dr. Jerrzyk’s office for my yearly body scan. While there, I asked the PA performing the exam if she could take a look at a little dry patch under my eyebrow. On a Saturday morning, just two days later, I had an unexplainable and extreme reaction to the cream that had been prescribed. My eye started to quickly get very swollen. I texted photos and a description of my eye and “immediately” was contacted by the PA on call. She was calm, patient, thorough, and quickly prescribed the best possible antibiotic for the extreme inflammation and swelling. On Monday I texted additional photos of my eye and was promptly given an appt for that same day. I was seen by both Dr. Jerzyk and the PA. The level of care and support I received from Dr. Jerzyk and his staff was truly unusual. My experience should have been an awful, scary, and negative one and yet it was not. Waited a few weeks for my appointment, gave me a call saying I had to reschedule for another few weeks.

So I just had a really bad experience with a dermatologist office in the area. I scheduled my appointment a few weeks ago and specifically asked to see the doctor, not a PA. They said Yes, you're going to be seen by Dr. J. The appointment was early this morning. I get my daughter up early so I can be on time and head to the office. Get there and they say no your appointment is with the PA. What really bothers me is that no one seemed to care about how this is an inconvenience. When did it become okay to waste other people's time? So I just had a really bad experience with a dermatologist office in the area. Went there recently to have moles/beauty marks looked at, as I am getting up there in years and want to be pro-active. Apparently I was seen by a PA, not a doctor. Told her I was just here to get a once over as a preventative measure. She seemed almost disappointed that I didn't have a real issue. She was very nice, and did a once over on my body. Rather quickly in my opinion, but hey, I'm not an expert. She identified 3 moles that were "abnormal" and suggested a biopsy. Purely optional, didn't try and push me into it. She said if she thought it was definitely cancer she would not have done a biopsy and would have sent me directly for treatment. Of course I hear the word biopsy and figure I should play it safe and have them checked. Who wouldn't? Of course, the results came back normal. Now I get a bill in the mail that I owe them $241 after the insurance payments. Apparently doing the biopsy changed my bill from the $150 office visit to $851. I clearly believe that the recommendation for the biopsies was not done in the best interest of my health, but to bill out an additional $701 in services. Poor business practice on your part. Stupidity on my part to believe a doctor, or in this case a PA, would put my health before their bottom line. The office staff are super helpful, professional and friendly. Deanna is the best!

Office staff is always friendly and helpful. I never have a problem getting an appointment in a timely manner. We always see Deanna and she is absolutely amazing! Would recommend this practice to anyone!

Saw Deanna the PA and was happy with the excellent service we received. I found her to be very helpful with the concerns surrounding a suspicious mole that suddenly appeared... which she removed in one precise scrape. She numbed the area with little discomfort and gave me accurate information about the wait time for results. There was a follow up call exactly a week later and then she called to see how the healing process went. Of note... i was surprised to see negative reviews of this practice. Derm PA’s are highly educated. Most I know have extensive ER experience and do beautiful suturing. Something to consider. :) Saw Deanna the PA and was happy with the excellent service we received. need to improve their scheduling procedures. Both appointments I had, I waited an hour in the waiting room!! To me that is totally unacceptable! I understand 10-15 minutes but an HOUR!! Be respectful of other people's time!!

Without any hesitation one of the friendliest doctor’s I have ever had to deal with. He acts like a human not like a doctor, which you need when you are scared!

I was a bit nervous about visiting a dermatologist. I did not know what to expect. I've had family members that have had skin cancer. As soon as I walked into Dr. Jurzyk's office I was greeted with smiles and a staff that cares about me. I had a wait 20 minutes or so but with any doctor's office you have to give them some time to get your chart set up. I was then brought into the exam room were I met Deanna Zimkus. She was a doll! She looked over some of my skin issues. I have never felt better.

Dr. Jurzyk takes his time with his patients. He is very thorough.

It took a long time to get an appointment. I saw the PA, Deanna. She barely looked at my skin and already told me what I had (which was incorrect) and when I asked a question regarding the prescription she was giving, she answered something else. I since went to another dermatologist, given the correct diagnosis, had it explained thoroughly and given an up to date natural topical prescription, with a coupon to reduce the cost. Do not recommend Dr Jurzyk's office.

How do you sum up such an outstanding office in a few short words. From the personal expertise in the rooms to the friendly smiles of the staff your visit is sure to be satisfactory and more. A very well kept office has also been recently updated with a modern flare that is sure to WOW you! Organized, polite, welcoming, friendly, and SANITARY are the best words of choice to describe such an extraordinary place. An occasional wait (that I will admit has happened) is worth the care that I receive.

This is my third visit at this office. The staff is very friendly the providers in office amazing i left feeling educated on what to look for with my skin. I highly recommend this Dermatology office for pleasant atmosphere all of my concerns were addressed. I will be back in November looking forward to it. Also my son Tyrone saw PA David for acne treatment seems really helping after struggling to control it for so long.

The providers are great. There have been a few instances where I've had to call regarding a concern and was given a response back in a timely matter. The providers truly do go above and beyond with patient care. Thank you so much. Truly worth the wait for their patient care

This office continually runs anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour behind schedule. This morning I was scheduled for a biopsy at 7:40am. I walked out of the office at 8:15 having never seen the PA. The staff is friendly and professional, but I cannot recommend going to this practice based on the lack of respect for a patients time.

I have not seen dr. Jurzyk, but I saw one of his PA's. I believe her name was Deanna. She didn't even spend 10 minutes with me. I drove over half an hour to see her, and had to pay pretty high co-pay, the least I expected was fo the doctor to spend some time listening to my concerns. She didn't seem to acknowledge anything I said and asked, and rushed me out of the office while I still had plenty of questions. It was the WORST doctor's experience I have EVER had. I do not recommend.

I have suffered from a condition for 20+ years which interrupted my sleep as well my life. I have seen many doctors through the years without relief. One visit to Dr. Jurzyk, one prescription and one application resulted in immediate results!!! My follow up visit with him yesterday resulted in my gushing my thanks and a few hugs (he even blushed)...he is my hero, he listened to me and truly cared (his wife is a cutie too).
