A patient of Dr. Yoerg's since 1987--thirty years. Some would say that's awful, why were you in therapy so long, et al. Another therapist observed the commenters had missed the point. I am alive. Diagnosed as clinically depressed (DMS III) at age 16, adding bi-polar in my 40s, I am now 60 years old. 44 years is a very long time to survive mental illness. The Doc is open to alternative therapies, family sessions, hospitalization, meds, *your* opinions, and a sense of humor. I repeat: I am alive.
