Dr. Robert Paul Unkefer

My Wife and I have been patients of Dr Unkefer for 10 plus years and found him to be very professional and thorough. He found and took care of skin issues that if not treated would have been serious.

I have been a patient of Dr. Unkefer for several years. He has removed 4 basal cell cancers on my face and one on my shoulder, plus a squamous cell on my leg, and a cyst on my back. All have healed well with no recurrence and barely there thin scars. He is excellent!

PA did procedure on my back. Overhead lights were not working so they moved me close to a window. They were short-staffed and nurse had to switch back and forth between myself and another patient. As PA was beginning to stitch me up, doctor came in gave him instructions about how it should be done. It was evident that that PA have not done this before. This episode did not Inspire confidence.

Dr Unkefer is a kind and caring dermatologist. Very, very knowledgable. Listens to patient concerns and questions. He is very thorough and provides the most complete care. He offers many treatment plans that are state of the art. I highly recommend Dr. Unkefer as a dermatologist and MOHS surgeon.

Final appointment: I had an appointment with him to check his work on surgery that had taken a long time to heal, and I arrived about 15 minutes late. He refused to see me. I heard him talking behind the desk about the fact that I was late. So, I have never returned. I made an appointment with a different doctor to check the surgery. Before the final appointment my concern had been that he seemed very quick to decide to surgery.
