Probably good at diagnosing the cold and flu but should probably seek another doctor if you actually need to see a doctor. Seems like he got his medical degree in the 70s and hasn't changed how he treats illnesses. When I asked to continue the meds my previous doctors had set out in my care plan he refused. Stated that he had never prescribed those medications for my disease and never would. I explained that treatments changed throughout the decades and refusing to treat with a newer med was like refusing to give someone with depression antidepressants and treating them with shock therapy. His response was, "We do!"......yikes. Won't be back to see him, changed doctor offices, even left the Olathe Med system.

Dr Shively is amazing, Lot of experience and very friendly. Look forward to keep seeing him often.

Friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, explains things so a layman can understand. Has a wonderful staff. Iike the guy!!!

Dr Shively is avery personable conscientious Doctor Who will find the problem no matter what it is, one way or the other, even if he has to send you to a specialist great staff they always take care of you just as well as he does thank you. RV Scott
