Dr. Robert E Jones III

Dr. Jones and his PA, Paula Russo are both excellent caregivers for children especially. Although they are a family practice, the care they have given my children from birth through adolescence has been top tier. They really take the time to listen to you and your child without rushing through the visit. My children have always been treated as individuals without the physicians speaking to/about them through me. In addition, focus is spent on developmental milestones, emotional and mental health, and individual growth as well as physical health. Personally, overmedicating and overuse of antibiotics was a concern of mine for my young ones, however Dr. Jones doesn't immediately prescribe medication for every ailment if it is unwarranted. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality care.

He is willing to let infections go un treated. Doesn't call back when its important, and demands a covid test for unrelated symptoms without offering a telehealth session. Shame!

Dr. Jones has a long history as a health-care provider, beginning as an EMT, obtaining his RN and PA afterward, and then going on for his MD. He has a wealth of clinical experience to draw on while also keeping current with advances in his field of practice. His bedside manner is genuinely warm - he takes time to listen to his patients - young and old alike. His clinical staff are technically skilled and personally engaging. His receptionist can be a bit daunting - like a guard dog protecting its master - but she's very efficient and warms up as she gets to know you. Office is not glamorous but - don't worry - their technology is up to date. I feared leaving my big-city docs when I moved here from DC: I no longer worry, since I'm very happy with my wonderful "country doc."

I have been a patient at Dr. Robert Jones practice since 2007. He and his very competent, loyal, personable assistant Paula Russo, PA are what makes my continued patronage worth while. Both Dr. Jones and Dr. Paula provide that "small town doctor" feeling to their hands on care to each patient. The staff in the front office and the nurses in the back offices of the practice are top notch people who develop long terms relationships with the patients of the practice as well. Have been going to Dr. Jones for 12 years, initially the receptionist had the personality of a rotten log however now the receptionist is great, helpful and friendly. Dr. Paula is also a great PA when I have seen her instead of Dr. Jones. It got me in for an appointment very quickly and my condition assessed. I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Jones.

Dr. Jones is the perfect example of a small town doctor. He is personable, he remembers details about family members, he tell stories about his life (hunting mainly) to his patients whom he has known for years. My personal experience with his practice has been since 2007. Dr. Jones has a Physician's Assistant named Dr. Paula Russo who is the most wonderful, caring, competent , loyal person I've had the pleasure of being treated by. I highly recommend this practice.
