My mother clearly needed geriatric psychiatric intervention. Dr. Corprew denied medical clearance for this to happen for her. Her entire daily medical team nor I understand this doctor's decision. Instead, she was sent back to the nursing home with her psychosis still out of control. I want to add in that, as her Healthcare POA, I was not once contacted by the ER or hospital during this event. The nursing home, however, did keep me informed.
Bad ER visit. Sent home with covid and covid pneumonia. No treatment or hospital admission Pt. history of asthma. Back in ER 3 days later, admitted to ICU 15 day stay almost died. Should have been addressed by Dr. Corprew at 1st ER visit!
