I am a male in my 60's and Dr. Sherman has been my dermatologist for many years. He is invariably friendly, efficient, and helpful. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable, but more than that he has an artist's touch. He always explains thoroughly what he is doing and why. There is a negative review below from Wayne S. that I found astonishing: it doesn't describe the Dr. Sherman I know at all.

Dr Sherman is an outstanding doctor...always very caring

I sought out Dr. Sherman 5 years ago to help with my daughters acne after failing treatments with other dermatologists. Now my entire family goes to him for both medical and cosmetic needs. He is up to date on the latest and greatest skin improvement techniques, and has state of the art laser equipment. I recently visited him and had the laser Profound Treatment, it works! The downtime was only 2 weeks and I look 10 years younger. It was basically a facelift without any surgery, definitely recommend this procedure! His practice is sparking clean, well-appointed, and conveniently located. His staff members are always pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Sherman for all your skin needs. If you become one of his patients, I’m sure you will receive the same excellent care that I have. I have been a patient of Dr. Sherman for several years now and I can't imagine going elsewhere. Whenever I have a problem, his polite and friendly staff is quick to get me an appointment. Dr. Sherman is a wonderful diagnostician and fast to get to the root of any issue. When I am in the patient room with him, I always receive personalized care and never feel like just another chart. Dr.Sherman is professional but you need to have money. He prescribes always the most expensive products. He wanted to remove 3 moles that were not dangerous after a second observation with another dermatologist.

Dr. Sherman has been my dermatologist for at least 15 years. I have had four basal cell carcinoma cancers on my skin he has removed at different times without noticeable scars, as well as dermafillers to improve some acne scarring. I have been very well pleased with his work. Not only is he technically skilled but also aesthetically educated to produce optimal results. A.

I found Dr. Sherman via a highly recommended referral. He knows his stuff! Not only does he have time, but if you call, he will call you back promptly. I have never felt rushed, and he always has the time to answer my laundry list of questions. I have been to numerous dermatologist and he is up there in the top notch. I have had several procedures performed by him with great healing and very little scaring. I highly recommend.

Worst experience ever with a doctor! On a positive note, the office is nice and the staff very friendly. My first impression from all of the products in the room adjoining the waiting room was that this is a big time skin care and appearance specialty clinic (skin cleansers, make-up, etc.). Unfortunately for me, I guess I was right. I went because I'm a mid-50's male experiencing bruising and thin skin on my arms (lack of collagen). I guess that is such a minor thing he did not really want to be bothered with it. When he came into the exam room, I advised what I was there for and showed him. He NEVER EVEN SAT DOWN and was in there with me all of about two minutes -- seriously! I'm very laid back and not real talkative, but I did try to ask a couple of questions and learn what was causing my problem. He said he'd prescribe some lotion that 'might' help a little bit, but probably not a lot. I was trying to get just a little more information about what else I could do when he kind of cut me off, said goodbye, and made his way out of the room. I was left feeling insignificant and that I made a wasted visit (with office pay) to a doctor. Sad to say, but I got much more information off the internet than I got from Dr. Sherman. He was right, however, about the lotion -- it really did not do anything. Of course, I learned from the internet that my problem cannot be effectively treated topically. So, if you're looking for a 'clinic' to help you with your overall beauty regiment, this one might be for you. But if you're looking for credible medical care, I'd recommend that you look elsewhere. I am a 69 year old pale skinned male with no cosmetic concerns. I am very susceptible to skin cancer and need regular dermatological attention. Dr Sherman is the best. Very attentive and thorough. I was quite dismayed to see that some malcontent gave him a one-star review, and felt obligated to post a positive review and improve his average rating. Thank you. Worst experience ever with a doctor! I advised him what I was there for, showed him, & he NEVER EVEN SAT DOWN. He was in there with me all of about two minutes -- seriously! I'm laid back & not real talkative, but I did try to ask a couple of q's to learn what was causing my problem. He cut me off, said goodbye, & made his way out of the room. This 'clinic' might be good for helping you with your overall beauty regiment, but for credible medical care, I'd recommend that you look elsewhere.

I would never trust anyone else with my face. An artist with his hands, great bedside manner. A superstar.

He accomplished what no other dermatologist was able to. He was able to assess and tell me what would be the best for me. I went to see him for Botox to forehead and ending up with Sculpta, his recommendation and I amazed that it lifted my face from the jawline up. It also took away the above lip lines and the roughness on my chin. You no longer see my bottom teeth when I speak! No surgery just a substance that builds your own collagen that last 2 years or more ! You wake up look in the mirror and see yourself as 6 years younger. It is supposed to get even better once your body start producing it own collagen! Talk about a simple way of turning back the clock! Read about Septra and see if this is what you are looking for...
