I was told this Dr is one of the best dermatologists in town, Unfortunately I was not able to see the Dr because I couldn’t get past his racist staff. My husband and I called to schedule an appointment and was told we could not schedule an out of pocket appointment because my insurance was not accepted. I explained in several different ways that I no longer had that insurance as of 12/22 and had an expired card to show as proof however the receptionist Janice still would not schedule the appointment. I hung up, called back and asked to speak to the office manager. She was even worse. Instead of Susanne getting on the phone listening, she begins to tell me what the receptionist said. I explained the same thing to Susanne bust she refused to schedule the appointment and told me they don’t have to see me. I heard from a friend that Dr Sheref was the best but I will not experience this for myself due to the KARENS at the front desk. Janice heard my husbands Arabic accent and my very ethnic voice and determined over the phone that she would be difficult. I am also going to report this to the medical board because I feel this type of discrimination should be addressed and brought to the attention of the Doctor. I’m sure he wouldn’t be happy to know that they are turning away PAYING clients. We will continue to search for a dermatologist that accepts all people, regardless of status or ethnicity. We only spend our money where it is appreciated, so I’m actually relieved that the truth was revealed before stepping foot in this office. It’s still very sad and pathetic. Susanne and Janice should be ashamed of themselves.

Dr. Shereff is very knowledgeable and front desk staff are super friendly but I think they have some type of scam going on with specialty pharmacies there. Seems like every medication they order has to go thru a “specialty” pharmacy. They’ll tell you that your insurance won’t cover it when in actuality it will! So word of advice...please!!! call your insurance companies prior to paying for any “specialty” medications to ensure coverage or not. Unexplained inflammation on knee that was not resolving.

Dr Shereff is a no nonsense get to the root of the problem quickly type of doctor (my favorite kind) he is also kind and gentle and listens to your problems without rushing to judgement like so many other doctors do. I recommend him to ANYONE .

Dr. Shereff is the best dermatologist in the area. He has treated me for 40+ years and I do not hesitate to recommend him to others. He has a good sense of humor but also kind and professional. You will be completely satisfied with his manner and caring attitude.

Friendly, professional and very knowledgeable

Very great doctor even referred someone that I know to a free clinic so they can get work done that they could not afford cuz they didn't have insurance I would recommend him 1000% great doctor he has his heart in the right place!

He did not listen to my history. He was of no use. I asked him if he remembered something and he said yes....I had not told him. The assistant asked if he had examined the rest of my skin and he said yes. He had not. I showed him something and he commented that it was new. It was not. I should have saved my money.

Best Doc ever. Smart, capable and great sense of humor.

Dr Shereff is by far the best dermatologist I have come across. I have been his patient for quite a few years and he has monitored my conditions closely. If there are any changes from visit to visit he is able to look at previous pictures to see what they are. I would suggest him highly.

Parents saw Dr. Shereff, and I've seen him 20 plus years. Office staff has always been very nice and friendly. Never have a long wait. No they don't accept insurance but you are informed about that up front.

Dr. Shereff is an excellent provider, but that's where the excellency stops. I suppose if you are rich, this provider will work out fine for you. But if you are on a fixed income, forget it. They require 100% payment up front at each visit, even with insurance! Then, after who knows how long, they say they will reimburse you AFTER insurance pays them. I don't know many seniors that can float these expensive visits all by themselves, until insurance pays. Had to cancel my next appointment.

The secretary was rude. The copay was triple what most medicare doctors charge. That to me says that he is over charging medicare.

by Smanderson01 on Jan 6th, 2016 It is obvious in my family that if you have excema then Dr. Shereff is the doctor you need to see. He is able to assess the problem with a quick observation and most patients with this problem want a doctor to take time to do a physical exam. Dr. Sheriffs experience in the field allows him to be accurate with little touching. While it may seem he is not sincere, he is! His mixtures are to die for so don't pass him up or your skin will hate you.
