Best doctor I've found in 6 years of being a mother, she always remembers my girls individually (and that's hard because two are one year apart) and she's AMAZING with my 6 month old who has been seeing her since she was first born. Also offers telehealth visits URGENTLY, or in office appointments anytime you have an issue.

I've been taking my 4 kids to Dr. Kostecke since my oldest was 3 and we love her and the staff. I love that she does telehealth visits, if we can't make it in the office or if she is not in that day. It's so convenient and we never have to rush to urgent care.

Dr Kostecke truly cares about her patients and their families! She was very professional, compassionate, and reassuring and went over and above to address my concerns. When she gave my husband and I our flu shots along with our 4 month olds shots, it really made my day brighter! Thanks so much!

Do not recommend. No big issues with the doctor herself but the staff is incompetent. Specifically, whoever is doing the billing. I pulled my kids from this office and found another doctor for them almost 2 years ago because of frustrating billing issues. More than once I was sent bills for payments that were already paid and cashed by this office. And now almost 2 years later I just received another bill and had to spend time AGAIN pulling the cashed check. Do not recommend. No big issues with the doctor herself but the staff is incompetent. This is quite possibly the worst pediatrician I've ever been to. The final straw that made me actually put the review is that I had brought her to this pediatrician twice Saying that she failed hearing tests with the school. Both times she told me that my daughter was fine. then I took her to a new pediatrician and before I even told him that my daughter was having hearing problems, he told me she is having such difficulty hearing that he doesn't know if she can hear in the one ear and is having really hard of hearing in the other. We have a specialist appointment next month. Issues with my other child and a tongue tie, issues with my third child and dyslexia. I know I see reviews on Google all the time or the people sound crazy and how can there be so many things wrong... That it must be the parent just freaking out for no reason. Excellent Doctor. Super sweet and kind. The Doctor would go out of her way by coming in early and staying late for her patients. She is genuinely a wonderful woman.

Dr Kostecke has been seeing us for 2 years and has been so helpful and proactive with my girl . She is a great listener and very easy to talk to.

Long wait times, horrible bedside manner and for us personally, misdiagnosis. My daughter ended up suffer from asthma for years because this woman called them respiratory infections. Our first visit to a new physician, she was diagnosed with severe asthma and started on a new regimen. We no longer make 4 trips to the ER per year fo4 asthma, thanks to not staying with this physician. Long wait times, horrible bedside manner and for us personally, misdiagnosis. My daughter was a patient 3 years ago. Problems with follow through, communication, and referral. We always had a long wait, even if there were no other patients. She insisted that my daughter would grow out of her toe walking even though it was worsening and did not want to refer us to a specialist, despite my numerous concerned requests. She did not take me seriously as a parent (and my daughter is not my first child). Turns out, my daughter has a genetic condition that will continue to worsen with time. She now wears braces on her legs and uses a walker to walk. Also, this Dr. pushes the use of fluoridated water, which is a known neurotoxin. I know this is still sold on the baby aisle at the grocery, which bothers me, but come on, please do your research. My daughter was a patient 3 years ago. Great pediatrician!! We have been taking our children there for 15 years. Nothing but great things to say about her practice. I highly recommend her to anyone having a new baby. She was very prompt at showing up at the hospital at all the births of my children. Plus she is very good with the older children if you are looking for a new pediatrician. My children love her!!! We are new to town and I choose her as my daughter doctor. I noticed she specialized in autism which was perfect for being so close to us. She listened to everything I told her about Gretchen. Was sincere when medrides caused us to be late which I'm pretty sure interrupted her lunch break. Very involved. Gretchen had a shot she was good about it didn't even cry like her old doctor made her do. In fact Gretchen seemed to like her right away and I liked that. She will be my daughter pediatrician until Gretchen doesn't need one. I could go on and on but I really liked her. Will definitely keep her as a doctor! We've been taking our kids here for the last three years. The hours of operation are very flexible which has allowed same day appointment times despite what we have going on. I can tell Dr. Kostecke really cares about the patients and has really helped us through some severe illnesses. Most recently my daughter had fluid in her lungs and she continued treat and to schedule rechecks until she was satisfied with her progress. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone looking for a good pediatrician. We've been taking our kids here for the last three years. I visited this Dr. multiple times and I have always thought that she does not have a good bedside manner. The lady that works at the front desk is disconnected and rude. I took my kids to get flu shots and it was the worst experience EVER. My son has always been good about getting his shots. She did not have an MA on staff so she took care of the whole appointment. Which I understand sometimes things happen. However we get into the room and she doesn't say hello to my kids or make them feel the least bit comfortable she just says "how are we going to do this"? How am I going to hold them down. I explained that my son is typically good about shots so he could just sit on my lap. Then she says he is getting the Big shot and she will get the little shot....never tell a kid they are getting the BIG shot....that is never going to go over well. My son flips out and I have to hold him down. Once the shot is done he had a tiny bit of blood and of course he is thinking Yay! I did good I get a band aid.....NOPE! she just tells him to wipe it and pull up his pants...that is disgusting! I do not recommend this practice. They need to improve their processes and attitudes. Personally care and short wait times .

Great pediatrician. She cares about you and your kids. We come back from Mexico and my daughter has problem with skin infection she help us out (even at emergency room they did not provide us care right away).

I started taking my Oldest son to Doc Kostecke when he was just under 1yr old he is now 11 and I have been taking my newest addition my now 8month old son to see her since he was born, both of my sons love her she talks to them and trys to help my older son understand when he has questions about what's going on with his health and why certain things need to be done. My grandkids now also see doc Kostecke. We drive from Waterford to see her now because I couldn't imagine trusting my boys health to anyone else and we will continue to drive as far as we need to to continue seeing doc Kostecke! If you are unsure after visiting her office the first time I would recommend you giving the Doc and her friendly staff a chance before you write them off after all everyone has off days and they really do Rock! I have been taking my sons, 13 and 10 to Dr. Kostecke for a couple of years now and we have always loved the care she has shown them. Now we added a little girl to our family in March and she was premature and Dr. Kostecke has gone above and beyond to make sure she is perfectly healthy in every way. She's kind and caring and is always able to fit you in when you have a concern. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician. We love Dr. Kostecke! She takes such good care of my kiddos and my daughter loves her! My daughter doesn't like other doctors because they don't play or talk to her; but Dr. Kostecke takes the time to get to know me and my kids and plays with them! She makes every check up a game for them and they love it! Best doctor for kids!!

Worst pediatrician I have ever seen. My son was circumcised at the hospital after he was born. I had concerns that it was not done correctly. I continued to express my concerns to Dr. Kostecke for 6 months! She kept assuring me "He'll grow into it, it's fine." I just didn't feel that was correct. I ended up going to a pediatric urologist who assured me that he would definitely NOT be growing into it and not enough was removed during the first one, so it would need to be redone to prevent it from re-attaching. He ended up having surgery when he was 10 months old to fix his circumcision. She doesn't spend enough time at all with new parents and her office staff is extremely unhelpful and rude! She will have several patients in at once and is always rushing onto the next. I would not recommend her to anyone. Worst pediatrician I have ever seen. At first I wasn't sure about her. She didn't do anything wrong or treat my children poorly, I just didn't feel a connection. Starting with my oldest Son who has ADHD she started to win me over. My kids loved it there, they felt very comfortable. Getting an appointment is simply EASY and very FAST if they are sick it is ALWAYS same day! I've never had to wait for an appointment if i wanted them seen that day they make it happen! Her Staff is phenomenal! Very pleasant, and kind! My 2 yr old came down with Hand foot and mouth disease which is painful, and scary for parents. I was scared and called they seen her immediately and although there is no cure or medication it had to run it's course, she offered many feel better solutions. I left there with her cell phone # in case my baby girl needed pain meds... HER CELL PHONE #! Turned out I did indeed need it. And this Dr whom i was unsure about answered and called in a script and wanted to see her the next day! Sealed the deal! My kids have been seen on weekends, even weekends the office was scheduled closed! She opened for my kids! This Dr. is wonderful! She truly cares for her kids!

Dr. Kostecke provides personalized care to her patients. I have been going to her for 7 years now for all three of my children. She gets to know your child. I have gone to bigger clinics where you don't get that personalized care and you see a different doctor every time. I have recommended her to other family members who now go to her as well.
