End of April I saw Dr. Haigney for my wisdom teeth removal. From the first step in to building till I left they took good care of me and Dr. Haigney explained me all the steps and answered my question. On the day they took them out, sure was bit nervous. I have been in severe pain for weeks following two root canals but couldn’t get my other Dr to do much to help me. Dr Haigney squeezed me in last minute, did a CT scan to diagnose a problem, and took me straight to the procedure room to correct my issue. He was compassionate and understanding and listened when no one else would. I know God sent him to help me. I am so thankful for him and his wonderful staff. What can I say... Novant ER called and Dr. Haigney was on call and immediately showed up to take care of my son's dog bite on his face. My son was in and out of the ER in two hours. He has been wonderful throughout the whole process. I thank him so much as I didn't know what my son's face was going to look like after the attack. But to my surprise my son's face is perfect... Dr Haigney saved my 16 yo daughter from tremendous pain after a separate surgeon was not responding to her pain from wisdom teeth removal. He graciously saw her and treated her for dry socket after the original surgeon treated it with a hemostat dressing (bleeding complications happened in the first 24 hours). Dry socket is a terrible complication, and ignored complaints for your child are worse. Dr Haigney truly saved the day and got her out of pain in 5 minutes. He also made himself available after hours if needed, but his dressing did the trick and no extra visits needed. After much skepticism, I finally ask my dentist if botox my help my terrible headaches. He referred my to Dr. Hanigney, I was pleased with my office visit but still reluctant to get my hopes up. I recently went to Doctor Haigney to have my Wisdom Teeth taken out, all around i would have to say it’s awesome experience. From the super friendly staff to Haigney caring for his patients and there well being. I felt very comfortable and cared for. Haigney took his time with me and answered any questions i had about the procedure. One of his nurses Elizabeth A. Was super thorough on my cleaning during my follow up appointment. On 12/10/19 my 72 yr old father received a surgical procedure at this office.He has suffered from a negative reaction to the anesthesia and our family has been attempting to obtain his records for this procedure.On 1/28/20 my father emailed a signed request for transfer of records to his primary care provider to assess & proceed with treatment.On 3 other occasions family members attempted to obtain these records in person with a POA in hand & were denied the records. Only upon filing a formal complaint with the dental board did this office finally on 2/11/20 provide records.This physician & staff have lied about interactions with family members, as those interactions were videotaped for this purpose.Elderly BEWARE.The possible life altering side effects of the anesthesia used here were not disclosed.

Our 2 year old son recently had a fall that required a number of stitches inside and out on his eyebrow. Dr. Haigney was at the ER that day and we were so grateful he was. Our son is healing up nicely and everyone in his office have been wonderful!!! He even called to check in on him the next day!

Dr. Haigney is an outstanding Plastic Surgeon! I was referred after a sports injury including 8 forehead stitches and a broken nose. Dr. Haigney put me at ease and reassured me through the entire process. Dr. Haigney did a flawless job with my deviated septum surgery and stitches removal. Dr. Haigney went above and beyond and his entire staff were caring and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. I can not put into words how grateful I am to Dr. Haigney and his staff. Not only have they given me my smile back but they went way beyond. I first visited Lake Norman Oral & Facial Surgery in 2015. That's when Dr. Haigney and his staff first reviewed my situation and provided several options to correct it. They very patiently explained the procedures, pros and cons, expected outcomes and financial responsibility of each options. They provided me with everything I needed to make an informed decision about my treatment. Because of the extensive work my situation required and the lack of insurance coverage, I had to postpone treatment to find financing. Never once did Dr Haigney's staff make me feel uncomfortable about having to postpone. In fact, they assisted me in finding the financing. I was finally able to schedule the surgery in April 2017, almost a year and a half after my journey started. I could have elected other options to correct my situation but I am so thankful I was provided with ALL options, not just the one someone else thought would fit. I feel Dr. Haigney and his staff have treated me as they would one of their own family members. This has never been more evident than after my surgery. Dr. Haigney, personally, called me at my home to check on me. He also have me his personal cell number in case I needed anything. I was referred to Dr Haigney for severe TMJ issues. He ended up doing a complete bilateral jaw joint replacement surgery on me, with great resukts! He was fantastic before, during, and after the whole process. Since my surgery a year ago, I have randomly run into people who know of him, and everybody raves about him. I feel lucky to have been paired up with him and his whole office. The people who deal with the insurance have a thankless job, but they really came through for me. Many thanks!

My daughter had a simple frenectomy with Dr. Haigney in which the doctor admittedly clipped a nerve causing issues and requiring therapy, that we paid for. While we were in the process of getting her to all her other appointments, and I got a call from Haigney's office that they were sending us to collections over the insignificant co-pay despite not receiving a bill. The doctor and office manager hid behind the incompetent office staff and refused my calls. Worst doctor experience ever!

Dr. Haigney was called in to the ER last week to stitch my 1 yr old sons mouth from a fall. I was hysterical from the whole incident & he was very calming and reassuring. He took all the time we needed to ask questions. His bedside manner was phenomenal. He did a great job on the stitches as well. Today he removed his stitches & he took the time again to talk to me before and after the procedure. He even personally called this evening to check on my son. I was very impressed with him all around!

I was pleased with the entire process! I would highly recommend these professionals to anyone.

He allows the patient to ask questions & make the best informed decision about their health care. He is also very well respected by my dentist, and that was paramount to me! Dr. Haigney and his staff were wonderful throughout the entire process of having our daughter's wisdom teeth removed. Her situation was a bit complicated, but Dr. Haigney handled everything very well and she recovered quickly and easily. He is knowledgeable and professional, but also caring and personable. We originally had her set up for another surgeon in the area, but changed to Dr. Haigney and we are so grateful that we did.

It's easy to see why he is one of, if not the most, respected Oral Surgeons in the Charlotte area. His technical surgical skills are unrivaled, and surpassed by his dedication to his patients and his practice. Aside from the great medical and surgical care from first evaluation through surgery and afterward, Dr Haigney is incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and his office staff are so kind, and well trained. To say he is the best is an understatement.

After 14 years of struggling with my jaw/TMJ from a severe car accident, I had an evaluation by Dr Haigney. I knew he was an excellent surgeon in jaw reconstruction because he repaired my son's jaw in 2011. He had had a school wrestling injury breaking his jaw in two places. Within 6 weeks my son was eating again and pain free. Back to me..... I had surgery 2015 for ankylosis and adhesions. The surgery and recovery went extremely well. I am painfree and able to eat anything.

I had my oral surgery and subsequent dental implant performed by Dr. Haigney. He took great care to explain everything to me and set me at ease. The whole experience was flawless from beginning to end. The implant is now 3 years old and have had no problems with it. I highly recommend Dr. Haigney and his staff. Dr. Haigney performed excellent reconstructive oral surgery for me, including placing an implant. He worked swiftly yet methodically under local anesthesia. I have been told by more than one dentist that I am difficult to work on but Dr. Haigney seemed to have no trouble. There are not words to describe how thoughtful and caring his staff is. But I know the doctor is the head of the practice and the kindness or lack thereof Is a direct reflection of his leadership. His kindness shows.

Dr. Haigney is truly amazing. My spouse and I have contemplated a move to Florida and I often joke and say, "only if Dr. Haigney will move too." I trust him that much and wouldn't put my trust in anyone else. I've been seeing him for a little over two years and he has never disappointed. He has a genuine care that can be rare to find. He takes time to understand what his patient's are experiencing and makes recommendations that are in their best interest. I am eternally grateful for him!

My jaw had been locked in the closed position for over a year. I visited many oral surgeons and ENT (my jaw pain affected my hearing) who did absolutely nothing to help my pain and limitation. During my first consultation with Dr Haigney he listened when i explained the struggled i have had with my jaw. He immediately came up with a plan that included an MRI. After the MRI results there was no other option than to have jaw surgery. As of today my jaw opens completely normal with no pain!

A friendly practice where you truly feel welcomed. The facilities are spotless and calming. Dr. Haigney gave very succinct explanations of every process, all possibilities, and expected results. Complex surgery was done quickly with minimum discomfort. I am very pleased.

My experience with Dr. Haigney was awesome! He took time with me to explain the procedure I needed to have done and assured me that everything would be ok. He made me feel at ease especially because I was an emergency case and had not experienced anything like this before. Fractured 2 Orbital bones and jaw bone playing basketball. Met Dr. Haigney in Emergency Room. He was Johnny on the spot and came immediately from gym where he was working out. He was experienced and comforting during what was a traumatic injury. Went immediately into surgery and left hospital next morning for home. After 6 weeks of healing because of his knowledge, procedures and experience there was no visible way of knowing my injury. He is the best.

I would certainly recommend Dr. Haigney. When I had my wisdom teeth removed I was very nervous about the procedure initially. He and the staff made my experience comfortable and easy. They were very professional and helpful. They even sent flowers after the surgery and called the same day to follow-up. I had some minor issues with one side of my lip remaining numb for a few weeks after the surgery due to temporary nerve damage, but was told that was normal and I did regain full use.
