I have to say, I haven’t seen this doctor in YEARS! I’m talking like 10 years at this point. I’ll never forget when I broached the topic of my birth control really effecting me mentally and making me feel depressed to where there felt like no point in living, having horrible cramps, excessively bleeding, and broaching the topic with her for her to just say “that’s what birth control does” and keep going with her day. No let’s switch it, let’s take a different approach, let’s get you something with no hormones, nothing. Doctors like that have no business being doctors if they can’t even listen to their patients concerns. Her attitude was always how fast can I get you out the door, which is even more off putting. I’d never recommend this doctor or any offices she ever works at because of her poor attitude and work ethic.

From a medical professional - stay away. This woman is seriously a liability and needs to be watched closely. This doctor talked about herself so much and was so off-the-wall hyper that she kept repeating questions, asked me if it was my first time getting a pelvic exam three times, tried to switch my meds without me explaining why I had concerns, and asked me to provide a urine sample twice because she didn’t pay attention enough to know that I already provided one the first time she asked. She didn’t look at my chart before entering the room and then made a joke about how I didn’t look my age, nor did she bother to look at my history on why I was coming in for the day and assumed I was there on a routine basis (I was not). She talked so much the entire time that I never had a second to explain my concerns. She complained about working Monday’s, how the staff was incompetent, how she had knee surgery and had a bad catheter placed, and that she about how she prescribes controlled substance drugs to her husband! Yet, couldn’t take two seconds to ask me why I was there for the day. Normally, I’d advocate for myself. But if she would have just listened, she would have known that I physically didn’t have the energy due to the level of stress I was under at the time. She ordered labs because I had told her that I had lost 40lbs and worked really hard to do so. I also had to ask her to run a blood pregnancy test due to the nature of the problems inward having, because my fiancé and I are getting married next month and wanted to ensure that things were all good. She did my pelvic exam, and acted SO shocked when she saw the problem I mentioned briefly since she wouldn’t let me get into details. I left without her giving me any insight on what to expect, of what I was experiencing was concerning, if I should watch for anything, and never told me when she would be in touch about lab results. The MA calls me the next day with the lab results, and tells me that I have a few levels elevated and doctor wants to order a CT with contrast. I asked her if the pregnancy test results came back, and she couldn’t find them, so had to ask the doctor. She did not place me on hold while asking. The doctor says “idk who’s chaff this is, you’re just throwing charts in my face how am I supposed to know who this is?” The MA replies “you just saw her yesterday...” to which the doctor goes “oh yeah yeah... it looks like the test says she isn’t pre-menopausal so that’s good”. .....MA goes “she’s in her mid twenties”. To which the doctor gets mad and starts complaining about how she never knows what’s going on? And then realizes that the wrong test was ordered and has to tell the MA to call and add on the correct test? Of course, this makes me upset since this was my biggest concern coming in for the day, and then the MA says “oh, and she recommends weight loss”. Keep in mind, I’ve lost 40lbs in the last 5 months INTENTIONALLY since I am getting married, which if she would have let me explain she would have known, and then the doctor goes “ohhhhhh the weight loss is intentional... okay she doesn’t need the CT then.” Seriously? I’m livid at this point because I weigh 148lbs, work out daily, and I’m 5’5”. I am very careful about what I eat as well. I asked how much more weight I should lose and she didn’t have an answer for me, because I think she realized that I didn’t need to lose any more and that she was wrong. So... doesn’t look at charts, doesn’t pay attention, complains about her job, talks about herself the whole time, is rude to staff members who are trying to fill in the blanks, and doesn’t get a proper history nor does she care to in order to make a correct diagnosis or recommendation. My mother saw this doctor and had a similar experience, as did a coworker of hers. Looking at other reviews, I’m not shocked I experienced what I did. From a medical professional - stay away. Dr Lepera is such a pleasure to see. She is always so kind and welcoming. I was happy to find her practicing again at Romeo healthcare.

im sharing this review from a young man in Anchor Bay, CA who had this woman as his dr. in 2016. Im appaled and needed to share "I have been battling stage 4 bone cancer for the past three years. I repeat, DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. Raquel LePera, DO was a new primary care doctor I had switched over to due to my insurance. I just saw her this past week, where I was extremely ill. She didn't perform any test, or X-rays, while gossiping about how her other colleagues (by name), and how they don't take the proper steps in order to get to the root of the problem. While talking about herself the entire time. Because of her incompetence and unwillingness to actually do her job, she self prescribed me. I took the antibiotics and steroids she prescribed for 3 days, until my symptoms became unbearable, and I had to be rushed to the emergency room. Because of Dr. LePera prescribing me the wrong medicine, the doctors at U of M Ann Arbor struggled with finding the root of the problem, because of the antibiotic that she prescribed having the ability to mask the results. I am now fighting influenza, bacterial pneumonia & have developed an immune disorder known at ITP because my flu wasn't treated properly/quick enough. This is EXTREMELY SERIOUS for a cancer patient as myself to struggle with maintaining the proper amount of platelets. I am currently still in the hospital and fighting for my life! I might not even be able to continue doing chemotherapy anymore, which is required for my survival. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled that a person can be that careless and unprofessional, especially knowing my health. This doctor should not even be allowed to practice. I have never heard of such a ignorant doctor in my life. Doctors and staff of a health care facility should show compassion and sympathy to patients. (That’s why you go into the health care industry). My father recently went to see her for shoulder pain. While waiting to be seen all you could hear was her taking to support staff in the hallways about how she needs another vacation ( keep in mind she just returned). Once coming in the exam room to see him she asked what seems to be wrong. He replied that his should hurts him. She said well I can order a X-ray would you like to do that. She never once examined the should or touched him. Straight off to X-ray he went. After the X-ray she came in and said it looks fine. Didn’t give any explanation or suggestions. I had enough and took him to another doctor where they did an X-ray which showed arthritis and damage to the shoulder(rotator cuff) he was sent to physical therapy and was given medicine to help with the inflammation. And this is just one issue! My advice is to stay clear of her unless you don’t want to get good quality medical care This doctor should not even be allowed to practice. Paid $30 co pay to get my blood pressure taken. I have new onset weak leg muscles, numbness tingling down my legs and swollen tender right calf. “Dr Lepera” never even looked at my back or leg or laid hands on me at anytime. I received no treatment at all and she said she was confused why I was there to see her! She interrupted me constantly and did not listen when I was trying to explain. It was talking to a brick wall. That’s not drs care . That kills people

My family has been going to this office as long as I can remember. We were auto assigned Dr. Lepera after our previous provider retired. We have had nothing but issues. Dr Lepera is either 0 or 100 with her diagnosis. She's told me I've had blood clots when it was a pulled muscle., skin cancer when it was a burn from recalled Fitbit and that I'm "too young" for both gallbladder issues and knee pain. Both were later diagnosised and had my gallbladder removed, and have a degenerative knee disorder

Have been a patient for over 18 years. Never have a problem obtaining same day appt and many tests are done there on site making it convenient. Dr Lepera is knowledgeable, experienced and treats you like family.

My experience up until today has been very positive at this office, and my problem is NOT with Dr. Lepera, but with her office's policy. I have been a patient there for about 5-6 years and since I have had a fever and painful chest cough for 3 days I knew I needed to be seen today. Yesterday was a holiday, so I called as soon as the office opened this morning. I was told by the receptionist that they were "totally booked" and could not see me. I must be naïve because I thought If I was truly sick and needed an appointment where I have been an established patient for years, they would see me. I understand that I would have to take whatever appointment they gave me and was prepared to wait as long as necessary, but no, they suggested that I go to urgent care. By the way my dog was sick and the vet cheerfully offered her an appointment today and didn't even charge an emergency fee. What's wrongg with this picture??
