My visit went well. No waiting time. Follow up visit from surgery. He explained that everything was healing from surgery. He was very knowledgeable and caring when explaining things. He also, let me know that I can reach out to him anytime I have any further questions. I have never had a doctor so caring, reachable, and personable to each patient.

Dr Rangrass has been my OBGYN for more than 10 years. He has provided great care over the years. He recently provided care over my first pregnancy and was very professional and guided me accordingly throughout the whole process till he delivered the baby by c-section. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for someone very knowledgeable and with great experience

Dr. Rangrass managed my second pregnancy. He's very friendly and personable. When it was time for my daughter to arrive, I was induced for labor. In utero, she had rotated to a face up position, resulting in difficulty for both of us, and the cord wrapped around her neck. Dr. Rangrass knew what to do; he asked if he could perform an episiotomy and use forceps to deliver my daughter safely. He was incredibly skilled and quick in the procedure, resulting in a safe delivery of my daughter! I'd recommend him to anyone.

I was referred to Dr. Rangrass at age 51 after I suffered for years with horrible menstrual cycles and fibroids. He was the first doctor who listened to me and understood that a hysterectomy was the best option for me. I had a robotic assist complete hysterectomy in April and at the same time I had a vaginal sling procedure done by a different surgeon. I went home the same day and never had any pain. My recovery has been much easier than anticipated I highly recommend Dr. Rangrass. He has always answered all of my questions and explained the procedure well. He has called to check up on me during my recovery. I have been extremely pleased with the entire process.

After noting abnormal results on my PAP test and conducting a cold cone biopsy, Dr. Rangrass performed a hysterectomy using a state of the art, minimally invasive, technique. I was able to go home that same day. I had very little discomfort and was able to begin working from home the following day and was able to return to my work place within 3 weeks of the surgery. Dr. Rangrass always takes the time to explain and discuss results and treatment options in detail. I am very grateful to Dr. Rangrass for his excellent care and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor who goes the extra mile for his patients!

Dr. RANGRASS and his kind staff made me feel relaxed, cared for, important and very very thorough. Dr Rangrass explained my situation and what he was going to do to repair it that I understood it all. His care was beyond excellent after surgery, he called me at home few times to see how I was doing. My experience with Dr. Rangrass has been excellent. He listens to your concerns and answers questions thoroughly in a way that is understandable. He has gone above and beyond to make sure I had all of the information I need in order to make an informed decision about my treatment. He was very patient and compassionate and I could not have asked for a better doctor.

Dr. Rangrass is the most kind, thoughtful and compassionate medical provider we have had managing our care. He has consistently gone above and beyond ensuring that both baby and Mom had the care they needed when it mattered most. He has the utmost professional boundaries and has handled care for multiple family members without ever breaching our trust. His skill utilizing a wide range of interventional techniques such as forceps, breach delivery, and others places him above and beyond skill-wise for most providers in this area. Lastly, his patient-centric approach is a model that would be serve the medical community well if others would replicate it.

I met Dr. Rangrass when he did my D&C back in 2013 due to a bilobed placenta left on me by another doctor. After that he delivered my second daughter in 2017 and we moved to Indiana for work. Now I am pregnant with my third child (4th pregnancy) and very sentimental because I only want him to do my delivery. He takes his time and explains everything, he makes sure you are comfortable and safe during your pregnancy. I need that feeling right now after having a misscarriage on March. :(... I have seen Dr. Rangrass for many years. He delivered my son in 1998. He is a compassionate and caring provider who always makes sure you are taken care of. He is a great Physician.

Dr.Rangrass is an awesome OB. He explained everything clearly and took care of me very well in every visit during both my pregnancies. He was prompt and took my calls when ever I was in need. Though I had preterm labor with my first child, he made sure he was present during my delivery. For my second baby delivery, he made sure the MD that is on duty knows everything about my medical history. Dr.Rangrass and the whole team is so supportive through out my pregnancy. I would highly recommend him.

Doctor Rangrass, takes his time and I never feel like he is in a rush. His staff is very friendly and helpful.

Most attentive and inquisitive doctor I’ve ever encountered. He patiently answered all my questions, checked on me often before and after surgery, and I’m really glad I chose him to do my procedure.

After a long day of induction, I was put into an ER situation where I needed to have an immediate cesarean. Dr. Rangrass performed my surgery and I couldn’t have been happier with my results. He handled the situation so calmly and despite my very obvious concern in the moment, he kept myself and my husband calm and got our daughter out in a timely fashion. I had a wonderful experience! Dr. Rangrass made me feel comfortable from the start. I was impressed with his confidence and he answered all questions I had before and after the surgery. The surgery went so well and I thought recovery went well due to the way the surgery was performed, using the least invasive method.

Dr. Rangrass is an exceptional doctor. He provides pragmatic care to his patients, listens for understanding, and ensures that your questions and concerns are quickly resolved. I’m so grateful to have had him on our medical card team during the delivery of our son!

Dr. Rangrass took care of both of my pregnancies. I had trouble getting pregnant first time but his assurance and guidance gave me confidence that I got pregnant in two months without any help. Second time he helped me again referring to specialist and he provided exceptional care and service by keeping in touch even after office hours for my twins pregnancy. He did my second planned surgery and delivery, and helped me with my post pregnancy complications and recovery. Dr. Rangrass goes out of his way to take care of his patients, listens and understands the concerns very well and provides exceptional service. I would strongly recommend Dr. Rangrass to anyone looking for gynecologist in this area.

I had a high risk pregnancy (40 years old, gestational diabetes and gestational hypertension), and a positive NIP test that required amniocentesis. I was transferred from my midwife to Dr. Rangrass's care after these diagnoses, and could not have been in better hands. Dr. Rangrass was thorough in ordering and reviewing tests and monitoring both my health and our baby's health, and continued to follow up with us long after delivery to make sure we were both doing okay. He made himself available after hours and called after hours to check in on us so I felt assured that we were in great hands. I would highly recommend Dr. Rangrass, and am thrilled to be a patient of his moving forward.

By far my favorite doctor!

Best OBGYN! I had two c sections one in 2018 and one July 2020. My first c section wasn't with him, it was with a different provider, my first experience wasn't so great. Healing process was horrible I was in pain for the scar for over 4 months, my surgery wasn't so great. My second was with Dr. Rangrass, my c section went so smoothly and the healing process was fantastic. I honestly only felt pain after I went home for 3 days mostly at night trying to get up and lay back down. I will definitely be doing my 3rd c section with Dr. Rangrass no doubt about it. He was always on top of my care and made sure I was comfortable and all my needs were met. He truly cares about his patients. Unlike the providers I have dealt with recently. I always have to fight for my health and they don't seem to be listening about my concerns, but with Dr. Rangrass he understands and helps with all those issues and concerns I ever had. If I could give zero stars I world. He did my hysterotomy. What a horrific experience. He did not explain the anything or answer our questions with a straight answer. I was rushed out of the hospital before like I wasn't suppose to be there. They were rude and unprofessional. They made my husband get me dressed in a bathroom in extreme pain and not full alert. What a joke it reminded me of stuff I have seen on movies and I still can't believe that they treated us so poorly. My aftercare was even worse he didn't really check anything even though I had concerns. Needless to say less then a month later I seen a different Dr and I was back in surgery. Very horrible experience, I wouldn't trust this dr with my dog. I do have one suggestion, run!

I cannot say enough about how much I love going to Dr. Rangrass. He is very welcoming, explains things well, is realistic and practical, and most importantly makes me feel like an individually important patient. He really spends the time to focus on my health and goes out of his way to ensure that his patients have the best possible care. I will be forever grateful that he found the reason for several miscarriages and referred me to the best specialist in the area, when other doctors simply took a wait-and-see approach. He happened to be away for my labor and delivery, but personally kept in touch with both me and the doctors that were caring for me. I am thrilled to continue to see him for my well visits, as well as future babies!

Dr Rangrass and his office on Currier Drive in Portage are both amazing. The staff if always super nice and Dr Rangrass has given me excellent care. He truly does care about his patients. I recommend him all the time to friends.

He goes above and beyond the office visit for communication and care. He explained everything very well. He is a partner in your health not a, "Do As I Say" doc. His entire team was amazing, from anesthesiologist, PAs, nurses and the ladies at the front desk. From the time you enter the office and meet the receptionists you are treated with smiling faces and caring nurses. Dr Rangrass and his staff explain the procedures, draw pictures, and give you written information. If you do not understand he is very willing to explain again (I ask questions!). Besides excellent explanations of every procedure, he also has a kind demeanor and a sense of humor. I had colpoclesis with surgery at Borgess (with an outstanding recovery nurse), the fact that they all make you feel so comfortable thru an unusual time…well, it’s good. I’d highly recommend Dr Rangrass. Every process went well for me and I have NO problems whatsoever following surgery. He’s a good doctor. Make an appointment!

I have had the best care under Dr.Rangrass. I went to him for regular gyno visit and mentioned my fertility issues. Right away he gave me recommendations and tests and flowing through with fertility got pregnant and Dr. Rangrass was my OB from beginning to end. He would make personal follow up calls when my results were not normal and he was there to deliver my son through Csection, but not without weighing all options. I recommend him and staff at Borgess women's health. This would be my second child at Borgess and couldn't be happier.

Dr. Rangrass was able to perform a vaginal hysterectomy on my impacted fibroid uterus. I consulted another Gyn who told me he wouldnt even attempt it vaginally. Dr. Rangrass was confident in his skills, and did a great job! I highly recommend Dr. Rangrass, he has skills:)

I recently had a Colpocleisis performed by Dr. Rangrass, and can't say enough about his expertise. I previously had a pessary that required cleaning in the office every 3 months and although it worked well, it was an uncomfortable procedure. When a problem with it arose, the colpocleisis surgery was suggested and I was referred to Dr. Rangrass. He's very professional, reassuring, and the surgery went SO well, with no pain. Highly recommend!

Dr. Rangrass performed my c-section. We met the day of the surgery, after trying to "flip" my baby from the breeched position, we moved on to the c-section. He checked on me multiple times and made sure I fully understood the procedure before even leaving my labor/delivery room. After the surgery, he made sure I was comfortable and healing properly. Two weeks after surgery, he called me at home to check in and see if I had any additional questions before my next appointment. Great experience!

Dr. Rangrass cares about his patients. He made sure we understood the procedure and process for before and after surgery. He also phoned twice to check on me personally after my outpatient surgery, and gave me a number to contact him directly if I had any issues. I didn't need to contact him, but it comforted me to know that he was available if I needed him.

Bleeding after menopause is a concern, so I had to seek out a physician. My regular GYN sent me to Dr Rangrass for surgery. Everything was explained in detail and all my questions/concerns were addresssed to my satisfaction. The surgery went well and the recovery smooth. He even called me several days after surgery to check on me. His new office in Portage was closer to me than having to drive up to the Gull Road office. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Rangrass is so professional at what he does. I had problem going full term. He did my cerlage surgery for both my sons, and he took special care of me. I got the cerlage switches in at 16 weeks and my first son was born at 36 weeks and the second son born 38 weeks, both heathy babies. I got c- section done both the time.

I started seeing Dr. Rangrass in 2016. My husband and I were having difficulty conceiving and after some research, felt as though he could provide the best care. I was referred to Dr. Rangrass for a robotic hysterectomy. At my pre-surgery appointment I mentioned my issue with urinary stress incontinence. Dr. Rangrass was the first doctor I have told about this problem that listened to my concerns. He offered a urethral sling procedure which he could perform at the same time as my hysterectomy. Both procedures were successful and I am very grateful to Dr. Rangrass for his excellent care! He is thorough, takes the time to listen & is very caring.

Dr. Rangrass has been my doctor for 10 years and has performed 5 of my 7 c-sections. His pleasant demeanor and confident skill in his work have always put me at ease. The location on Currier Dr is easy to find, with only 2 turns needed after exiting US-131. The staff at BWH are friendly and helpful.

I saw Dr Ragrass for all of my prenatal care. All the interactions were very pleasant. He did give explanations in details for all queries. We chose to visit him even if the clinic is 60 mies away from where we live based on reviews we learned.

I cannot be more pleased with the level of care and communication I received from Dr.Rangrass. On my initial surgical consult, Unbeknownst to me, I was very ill with an unrelated issue. Because of Dr Rangrass's commitment and dedication, he was able to identify the issue, treat it, and get me healthy enough for what turned out to be a very difficult procedure. He called frequently, listened to my concerns and always showed great compassion. I am truly grateful to him. Can't say enough!

Dr. Rangrass delivered my first son in 2015 during a very difficult labor process. He arrived and took special interest in my wife and family. Because of him, the process went from chaos to calm. He delivered my second son in Aug of 2017; he will deliver my next one if it comes to that. He's my favorite doctor, and his location in Plainwell is a perfect location for those in Allegan and Kalamazoo. The folks there are friendly, it would be a big loss to lose them in our a community. After discovering I had two dermoid cysts that needed to be removed, I went to see Dr. Rangrass. I needed to have a robotic laparoscopic bilateral ovarian cystectomy performed, & I had read online that Dr. Rangrass was experienced in performing the surgery robotically. From the first appointment to the post-op, he was so kind, personable, & informative! He made me & my husband feel comfortable, he answered all our q's, & he did a wonderful job performing the surgery. I highly recommend him!

I first met Rangrass 4 years ago. When he performed a a DNC on me. after that I began to visit Plainwell office where the staff is kindvery professional. Rangrass and the staff in Plainwell are very accesible and always willing to help and give the best care and experience. It was very beneficial to have this office so close to home since the hospital is away from home and my pregnancy was so difficult this time around.
