Dr. Rachel K. Chaney

Dr. Chaney has gone from a great doctor to basically just a fair doctor. She doesn't listen , forgets about why your there at least twice during the visit , seems to only want to talk about herself. You will wait hours only for her to come in and 30 seconds later say your fine and spend an additional 20 mins talking about her dog. If you need an occasional check up great, if you have serious heart condition find someone else unless you have an additional 3 hours a day to waste for no answers.

Although Sr. Chaney may be a competent cardiologist, her staff is mired in bureaucratic complacency. While in the office I made 3 staff members aware of a physical crisis. Severe esophageal pain, distress and bleeding from not being able to take a proton pump inhibitor because of recently being required to take a blood thinner for my new stent. (A family history of chronic reflux disease and fatal esophageal cancer.) I was told Dr. Chaney would be informed when she arrived at the office in a few minutes and I would be called with a solution , advice or a new prescription by that afternoon. No call occurred until 2 days later. missed the call by one ring. Was given the wrong phone # to call back.. Then called the office multiple times and no answer. Was contacted the following day.. Typical bureaucratic complacency and disfunction that plagues so many medical practices.. Not much concern for someone suffering and in need of immediate medical attention.

Dr Chaney was my 3rd cardiologist. She helped me where the other 2 kept me sick
