Dr Laredo cares about his patients! I had a terrible finger injury that needed 2 surgeries! He was detailed, cautious and prayed with me before surgery. I finally made time to get my carpal tunnel taken care of. I was able to make an appt with Dr Loredo, but getting information from the person on the phone was a challenge and was sent the new patient paperwork request several times. On the day of the appt the time was changed 30 mins later by text. After waiting almost an hour after I got there, Dr Loredo spent 7 minutes with me, interrupted my answers to questions he asked, prescribed medication that contradicted other meds I was taking (thankfully my pharmacist caught it) and told me to come back in a week for steroid injections. He also requested I get a nerve study with a different doctor. I came back a week later as instructed. I again received a text that morning (8am) that my appt was moved back 30 mins. I waited again for 45 mins before the receptionist stuck me in a room without telling the nurse. Once the nurse and Dr Loredo found me, Dr Loredo informed me that he couldn't do anything for me without the nerve study. So why did he tell me to come in? 3 minutes and he was gone. I fractured my finger playing basketball. It was really bad. I went to ER and they sent me to Dr. Laredo. He showed me the x-rays and went over all the options. I was very nervous but he has a way of just calming you down. I tried the splint for a few days, but then later decided on surgery. I am so glad I did. The surgery went great and I am back to work. Dr. Loredo is the best hand surgeon around. I sustained a terrible hand injury from a table saw. I brought my 2 fingers in a ice bucket. Dr. Loredo put them back on. I was in the hospital for several days and he used leeches to save my fingers. They are not perfect but they are back on. Great Job Dr. Loredo. My husband cut part of his thumb off, Dr Loredo did surgery, the thumb got ganegrene, he almost lost the complete thumb, another Dr saved it. No one wants to help us filing complaints against the Dr, so now his finger are messed up too as a result of what Dr Loredo didn't do

During the last four months, I have suffered from great pain and mental anguish from what Dr. Pedro Loredo had done to me. His poor performance and sub-standard care resulted in the loss of an index finger and mobility of my left hand. I hope this review can prevent him from inflicting pain on another patient. I was at the ER Baylor Scott & White hospital after I injured my index finger on my left hand with a circular saw on April 14, 2021.The ER doctor reached out to Dr. Pedro Loredo, a hand surgeon, for evaluation and surgery. He admitted me to the hospital for 3 days and conducted 3 surgeries in attempt to reattach the tip of my index finger which ultimately ended in failure since it could no longer move and only caused me pain. I had four separate follow-up visits with Dr. Pedro Loredo at the Hand Associates North Dallas, between April 26 and May 17, 2021, where he provided sub-standard care and poor customer service. I was instructed not to remove the splint/bandage for 10 days

The doctor doesn't have a permanent office. He travels from one city to another. Richardson, Farmers Branch, and I don't know what else. He misdiagnosed me with carpal tunnel syndrome. I got 2nd and 3rd opinion from other hand doctors, who said I don't have CTS. He took ultrasound, which I wanted a copy of. I called his office but the person answering the phone didn't know what to do. I guess because he's a traveling physician so the records are hard to get? Dr Loredo listened to my symptoms, examined my hand and determined my condition, explained the condition in detail, provided me with treatment options and the reasoning for his recommend approach.I have carpal tunnel syndrome on both hands, He explained what would happen before and after the selected treatment, the one he recommended, and was able to perform the injections during my appointment. I went to go see another doctor here in Southlake and he wanted to amputate my finger. I said hell no and walked out. I had almost cut off my entire finger while loading my boat after fishing. The finger was hanging on by just skin. You could see the bone, and there was a lot of blood. So my wife searched the internet and found Dr. Laredo. He saw me that same day. I am so glad we found him. He said that I needed immediate surgery. I had surgery at Baylor Grapevine and everyone was so nice there. He did a great job with putting my finger back on. Dr. Laredo is a wonderful person. He prayed with me before surgery. Then saw my wife and I after surgery, and he showed me pictures of what he did. So my buddy recommended I go see him. I am glad I did, because the infection was going up my arm. He took me to surgery and drained a lot of pus. Had a great experience at Dr. Laredo's Office. I hurt my hand and arm after a fall. I had a fracture of the wrist and hand. Dr. Laredo did surgery for me. I am doing very well and I am very happy. He also saw my child that broke his finger. He did not need surgery. Dr. Laredo is a very nice and compassionate doctor.

I sustained a severe injury of my hand and arm. I developed complex regional pain syndrome. No doctor would touch me, not even the one that caused it. I had nerve damage, and had lost all function of my hand and arm. My wife found Dr. Loredo on the internet, so I saw him. He showed me on ultrasound that my nerves were being compressed really bad. So he did surgery and now I am doing so much better. I even was able to dance with my daughter at her wedding. I am getting better and better every day. Was attacked by pit-bull while walking my dog. The dog torn part of my hand, finger and arm. I was lucky that a neighbor sprayed water on the dog. I went to ER and told me I was going to lose the hand. I said now way. so my boyfriend found Dr. Laredo. We saw him and he fixed my injury. He used something called skin flap which helped cover up my injury. I am so happy we found Dr. Laredo. He is the best. Thank you for saving my hand.

Had a horrible keloid scar on my arm. I had a so called plastic surgeon try to fix it. That Dallas plastic surgeon made it worse. I found Dr. Loredo on google, and I saw that he did mircosurgery. If he can fix small things in the body. Maybe he might be good at Keloids. I was right he did a great job. He removed a big keloid from my arm. I am wearing tank tops again, and showing off my guns. Had a big elbow tumor that was getting bigger and bigger. Other doctors did not want to touch it because it was near the nerve. So I searched the web and found Doc Laredo. He showed me the tumor on his baby machine, I think it is called ultrasound. He did surgery and removed the tumor. He did a good job and I am back to playing golf. Great job doc.

Broke my finger playing basketball. The ER doctor told me it was a very bad fracture and needed a hand surgeon. He recommended Dr. Laredo. I saw him and he took very good care of me. He agreed that it was a very bad fracture. He did surgery on my finger and I am back to playing basketball. He is a pretty nice doc and is also a very smart doc.

Dr. Loredo, Did surgery on my wrist & elbow..3 years ago after the surgery I can't recall using any pain meds. He's a great surgeon, I would recommend him seeing him if you are having hand pain, gripping problems..etc..

I saw Dr. Loredo from a recommendation from a friend from church. I have been suffering with wrist pain for years. I had seen other doctors, and had been told that I had arthritis. I brought my child to see Dr. Loredo, because he is a hand surgeon. I had taken my child to a orthopedic doctor for a finger mass. That doctor messed up my child's hand really bad. I felt so bad, that I did not do my research about hand surgeons before I took my child to this orthopedic doctor. So I found Dr. Loredo thru the internet while searching for hand surgeon. We drove 4 hrs to see him. He has great bedside manner and his staff is awesome. My boy Michael felt very comfortable with Dr. Loredo. He saw the finger and performed a ultrasound. Dr. Loredo has rebuilt both my hands, has moved the Ulnar nerve in my left elbow, corrected carpal tunnel in both hands! I won't let anyone else touch my hands or my family's hands. My husband is scheduled for carpal tunnel surgery this week with Dr. Loredo. Dr. Loredo skill & compassion have given me a very important part of my life back.... quilting. I have had severe elbow pain for years. I am an electrician. It has got so bad that I can not even left up my fork or spoon to feed my self. I went to see another doctor, and he did not know what I had. I found Dr. Loredo on the web. I saw him and he told me that I had tennis elbow. I am a chef and my colleague accidentally cut my hand during food prep. I could see the bone and nerve. Also there was blood every where. I was really scared because I could not use my hand. My hands are the way I make my living to support my family. Luckily I had my friend that had carpal tunnel done by Dr. Laredo in the past. So we went to straight to his office. He saw me immediately and had me booked for surgery the next day. I am back at work with no issues. Thank God for Dr. Laredo

He is the best hand doc. I was seen by another doc in Southlake for my severe finger pain . I was told I had nothing wrong with me. The docs did MRI, xrays, and CT scan with no answers. One doc told me it was all in my head, and needed to go see a crazy doctor. I found Dr. Loredo on the internet. He did a ultrasound on my finger and found a small tumor underneath my nail. I started crying and gave him a hug, because he said it is not in your head. He did surgery and I am doing great.

I saw Dr. Knight at the hand wrist and institute. I told him I hurt my hand. He said you have carpal tunnel and need surgery. I did not feel comfortable with him so I found Dr. Laredo on the internet. He saw me and did an ultrasound of my hand. He said I had a tendonitis. He gave an injection. Now I am pain free, I did not need surgery as suggested by Dr. Knight. Thank you Dr. Laredo for being honest.

Awesome hand doctor. He took care of my injured hand. I had no insurance. So he gave me fair prices. I have no more hand pain. What a wonderful doctor. I have sent my grandmother to see him, for her arthritis.

I am so happy I saw Dr. Loredo. I am a new mother, and my baby is needing a lot of attention and love. So that means I am holding my baby a lot. So much that both of my hands are killing me. I could not hold or even feed my baby anymore. I became very depressed. Then I found Dr. Loredo on the internet. What a blessing. He saw me and immediately told me I had tendonitis of the wrist. I was taking down a transmission. Then my hand slipped and cut my finger. I was bleeding bad, and I could see bone. I was really scared. My boss took me to Care now. I was seen by a doc there, and she said I needed an amputation. So I left and looked on the web for hand docs. I found Dr. Laredo. He saw me that day at his clinic down the road. What an amazing doctor. After seeing multiple doctors in regards to my hand pain, I went to Dr. Loredo and it was the best services I received from any doctor. Took well care of me and my family that also had hand pain. I recommend him to anyone that has any kind of hand pain.

My child plays tennis, and he hurt his finger. He was seen in the ER and was told that he needed to follow up with a hand surgeon. They gave me a number to a plastic surgeon and a orthopedic surgeon. Which confused me, because the ER doctor told me to take my child to a Hand Doctor. So I did some research and found out that there is only a few hand surgeons. So I am glad i did my research. A hand surgeon is a fellowship trained hand surgeon and is board certified in hand surgery. I found one a few miles away from my home. So we saw Dr. Laredo. He was great. He told us that my son had a fracture of the thumb, and that he needed surgery. Surgery went great. Dr. Laredo even prayed with us right before surgery. My husband, my son, and I were very amazed that he did that for us. This made us feel more calm about the surgery. My son is back at playing tennis. He even got a scholarship to a University. This is the best doctor I have ever been to. He has a wonderful bedside manner, making you feel safe and comfortable during the whole procedure. His nurse is also great. Very personable .

What an awesome person and doctor. I had my 5 year old kid hurt her finger playing on the swings. We went to urgent care and was told that my little girl had no injury. She could not sleep because she cried all night. I saw Dr. Laredo's clinic on line. He had videos and extensive explanations of hand issues. Dr. Loredo fixed my fractured arm. I had a broken bone, and he performed surgery. He did a great job. I am back working on my land. He is a good doctor. My wife is going to see him now for carpal tunnel.

Dr. Loredo is the best. I just love him. I fractured my hand. So I went to go see Dr. Michael Hahn at All Star Orthopedics. There are no stars there. He took an xray and said you have a fracture. You will need a cast. I told him what about my small finger being crooked. He said do not worry it will be ok. I should of not trusted him. Now my finger is deformed. I went to see Dr. Loredo for my deformed finger. I explained to him what happened. So he did surgery and now my finger is fixed.

I have observed Dr. Loredo and his staff at a facility where I work. Not only is he warm, but he genuinely cares and makes sure to go the extra mile for each of his patients.
