Dr. Paul Grayson Smith JR.

Definitely transferring to Dr. Michael’s clinic. He actually cared about mine & my family’s history of mental health. Dr. Paul obviously only cares about the money & treating his patients with very little respect. I went in for a checkup for my severe anxiety & depression which i’ve had since i was a child. I waited over an hour by myself in a room only to have Paul rush in & completely dismiss the new concerns i’ve had with my disorders. He treated me as if I was a dumb child that didn’t know anything & didn’t ask me any questions about my progress or how i’ve been feeling. He didn’t even look at my chart, just gave me a refill, was very rude, & left. The whole interaction with him lasted five minutes, FIVE MINUTES. I left the office literally in tears. The PCR test was done professionally with kind attentive care with smiling faces.

Dr. Smith's organization stepped up all Friday after Thanksgiving and all Saturday administering covid tests for 90 people who planned to be in Israel in two days.

Had my first appt at this office with Dr Paul Grayson Smith III. From the time I stepped in the door I was treated with respect and kindness. The front office staff and the nurses are sweet and very nice! Dr Smith was also very nice and respectful and answered all of my questions! Wonderful first visit!

I do not recommend this office.

Dr. Smith n the father was awesome!! But since he semi retired it is not the same!! Good luck Smith the son because I won't recommend the place!

Has been my doctor for 44 years

A wonderful office with a caring staff. I hate to go to the doctor but I love this office.

My husband and I tested positive for covid a while ago. We were so fortunate Dr. Smith was so kind and called in medication for us after office hours. I am convinced my husband would have gotten much worse if not for Dr.Smith. We were contacted reguarly to check on us until we were well. I have been a patient of both Dr. Smith’s for many years. I absolutely love them! They are knowledgeable, kind and courteous. Their staff go above and beyond! I don’t like being sick, but I do love my doctors!

Dr. Smith, III is the best! He’s so thorough. He really listens to me. I really feel like he explores all possibilities to diagnose me accurately. His office staff is so nice, also! My husband and I moved here almost 2 years ago and with moving resettling down can be nerve wracking but even worse, establishing a good, understanding, flexible, and personable doctor can be worse.. My husband is the one that actually found Dr. Grayson Smith's office upon recommendation and he was a satisfied patient after his first visit. Now, I'm sure like most husbands, he hates doctor appointments and waits till the last minute, when symptoms are at their complete worst but nowadays, he keeps up with his health and appointments. Each time I've needed to be seen, it's been a pleasant experience. There have even been times that the office has been able to squeeze me in under short notice and for that, I am very grateful. This place is awful. It’s all about getting as many patients in and out as they can in a day, $$$$$. They can’t even correctly send a prescription to a pharmacy. They can’t diagnose anything. I am still waiting on a prescription to be called in for an infection. I was told two days ago that pharmacy was called. Still nothing. I am waiting again for a call from the nurse. I miss the father Dr. Smith. I have went her for years!! This is very disappointing.

My teenage daughter went to see the son Dr Paul Smith. He was an absolute jerk to her. She has suffered from an eating disorder for years. She is tall and well within her healthy weight range. I had a great experience today, I am a new patient and I usually feel uncomfortable at the dr due to my weight, evey other dr had blamed everything im dealing with on weight, ill even have a sore throat and ill be told to lose weight however not once was my weight brought up It made me feel good to be treated with respect! Husband went here in pain from what we believe was a kidney stone (from experience). His appointment was on a monday, dr made him wait until friday to have an ultrasound. When he went for his ultrasound, after waiting over an hour, he was informed they would call him later that day with the results. He still has yet to hear from them and is in a lot of pain. Definitely called in a for a refill this morning and was never called back, refill was not called in and now I'm stuck all weekend without my meds. On call service doesn't handle refills. Awesome Service!

I have a urinary tract infection called Dr. Smith (son) office was in pain they scheduled me to come in, it was 5 minutes before closing. Thank you, Dr. Smith I knew it would be a horrible night had I not got in. I'm still in pain but I got the meds that will help me cope.

Went in for sciatica problems they couldn’t help then wheeled me out the back door placed me in my car and left me to suffer.

Just visited yesterday. The son is always short and rude. Wait times, once you have reached your patient room, vary from 30 mins to well over an hour. I won’t be going back.

Before then because I had a gap in being a patience they decided I was no longer a patience & put me as a new patience in 15' when they did this my given name is no longer now they have me as the name everyone calls me. Yes this bothers me. I no' long see Smith I now see Michael I really like Michael. I did not want to see the Son Smith, because in 14' my husband was seeing him for a shoulder problem & I questioned why my husbands hands were cold & he told me..."Let's worry about the shoulder than we will look into the hands" My husband ended up in the Hospital that night with emergency surgery at Erlanger for a hole in the aorta , He passed 9 days later from complications due to surgery. I'm not saying he would be alive today, but if Dr. Smith III would have looked into the reason why that day, my husband could have gotten medical help sooner.... Heather (Dr Smith Sr Physicians assistant) is wonderful.

Hours of operation, friendly staff, prompt care and follow up. They give you the feeling that they genuinely care about your well being.

Absolutely love this doctor's office. Dr. Smith is great and the nurses are fantastic! They truly care about their patients.

Absolutely trust my Dr Michael Conar. He has been my doctor since he joined this office and he is compassionate, caring and listens to you. He is a wonderful Christian and for me that is a huge plus and blessing.

Dr. Smith is great. I've been a patient for several years. Scheduling is great, can be seen same day. The ladies in the office are very helpful as well. Any complaints against Dr. Smith would probably be from irrational requests and irritable patients. People usually complain the loudest when being unreasonable.

Dr Paul Smith III clearly doesnt know how to read blood tests and has no idea what is an iron defficiency. My TIBC is super high, iron saturation is 14 and in his opinion everything looks fine. Like really??? Just because my hemoglobin is 12 it doesnt mean that everything is good. And I was going to the doctor to get a specialists opinion. Yet I have to get copies of blood tests and figure everything out on my own. Study iron supplementations and their absorption to prescribe myself treatment. The only question is why to pay 285 for "everything is fine" and what about the cases where there is something more complicated than anemia? Hi Amanda Trout here, a long time resident of Cleveland and member of this office since I was 10 years old. I miss Pauls father because Paul is the rudest man I have ever dealt with. My mother actually went to see him yesterday (4/26/2018) for hip problems and talk about changing her script to a lower dose. Paul ran her out, threw a new script in her face and wouldn't even go over different options that she had. He wants your money but doesn't want to help anyone. You'd think when your father leaves you a practice that he built from the ground up, you'd take better pride in how you treat your clients. I will never return to Paul and neither will my mother. As a first time patient I found that Dr. Paul attitude very rude and discussing my medical history. As I began to tell him I’m current issue so when he does bloodwork a certain test would be added to it. He became insulted that I was telling him what to do instead of realizing I know what has to be done it in my body. Smith Jr is a great man... that said he has let his staff run the business into the ground. I have the same tests and blood work done every time yet my bill is different every time. I don't advise you to ask about your bill though because they will transfer you to the billing lady in the dungeon and she will proceed to tell you she's the best in the business makes no mistakes you are wrong and it's the insurances fault. By the way I still never got an explanation as to why things were billed differently every time. Today's visit was moved by them from 9am to 1130am I was taken in promptly but then forgotten about in one of the back rooms for over an hour. I had to go out and tell them I was still there. Then they proceeded to act like it was my fault for coming in at lunch saying that they had to take their lunches. Also it took the girl 4 or 5 times to stick me to draw blood. I can't tell right now because I'm so bruised. I hope the staff sees this. I tried talking to each one of you but you each don't seem to care. The waiting room is normally crowded but staff processing of patients is timely & efficient. Staff is courteous. My 89 year-old mom uses Dr. Smith Jr. (he's the "Jr." and his son is the "lll"). I accompany her during visits due to her age & hearing loss. We have found him to be effective, kind and compassionate. He is part of a rare breed of doctors who actually still takes time to listen to his patients. We frequently recommend Dr. Paul Smith Jr. to others. God bless!

This place is a joke. Misdiagnosed my mom and dad numerous times and Tiffany prescribes ambien and xanax to my grandmother like it's candy. So my grandmother is now a dr shopping junkie. I don't kno how these people live with themselves. Go to hell!

This office has grown too big and they no longer care about your needs. the young lady that took me to the patient room looked like the most unhappiest person I had ever seen, never introduced herself or anything. Just have a seat let me take your vitals. I've been in the healthcare (dental) business for 30 years and if the doctors I work with ever saw me treat a patient this way I would no longer be employed. What has happened to common courtesy? I was there for a physical since I hadn't had one in about 2 yrs & I was also having some issues with my hands. When I told Michael the PA about my hand issues he told me take glucosamine & wear a copper bracelet. REALLY? You didn't even look at my hands? Gezzz that's some form of doctoring you're doing there. I flat out told you that I was developing de quervain's tenosynovitis but nothing was done about it. I make my living with these 2 hands they have to function! So I finally call your office to get a referral to a specialist (orthopedist) since you don't seem to want to do anything about it and the girl on the phone asked me who I want to be referred to. I told her an othopedist. She says well which one? I'm like heck girl your office is the one making the referral I have no clue who you want to send me to as long as it's not Dr. Votek I'm good with it. She wanted me to give her the orthopedic dr's fax number I'm like how the heck should I know that I don't work there. I had been going to this place since I was young. Every time, it was something minor- allergies, flu, etc. treated fine. Then, I began having SERIOUS issues- extremely low blood pressure, heart rate jumping to over 100 while sitting still, blacking out, etc. Went to see the dad. He proceeded to tell me my blood pressure machine was inaccurate (even though my husband's read fine on it). Long story short, the next couple weeks my BP got down to 50/40. I went to the ER and was later diagnosed by a nurse practitioner at Internal Medicine with Addison's Disease, which almost killed me. He did his research and figured it out in less than a week. If you have a serious ailment, go elsewhere. I would call this serious neglect, at the least. I will never trust them with my care again. I had been going to this place since I was young. When I was seen on all four occurrences the same process was administered; nurse check in, doctors evaluation, test results, and advisement. Each person I saw was very respectful and made me feel comfortable and respected. I always see Dr. Paul Smith Jr. Aka "the son". I'm usually only there for a short bit in the waiting area and in the room. And always leave feeling like I'm on the road to recovery.
