I miss you Dr. Simms and would love to know where you will be practicing in the hopeful near future. You have been my primary care doctor for almost 2 decades and an absolutely outstanding physician in every way. I appreciate your knowledge of medicine as well as your caring and taking the time to actually listen to patients and care about them as opposed to the vast majority of others. I appreciate everything that you have done for me. I wish you the best in whatever path you have chosen for the future but please let me know if you relocate to another practice sir.

When I went for my first first, I had been praying for a good doctor and as I stepped into the building they were playing worship songs and I said then I am in the right place now. Dr. Sims has been my doctor for a long time and will continue to be. He has always been a great doctor to my husband and I. He takes his time to sit down and talk to you to see what I'd all wrong, he truly do care about his patience.

Dr. Sims is a fantastic doctor. He will spend time with you. I rate him 5 stars. However, overall 3 stars only because there are some staff and administration issues. Several problems with this. I believe he does not get the support he needs. Hopefully it gets sorted out.

Harrison Sims is the most compassionate doctor. He has a fantastic staff and they are knowledgeable and helpful in all areas of medicine. He Is The Guy! I refer people here all of the time. Just know it is going to take a bit to be called back because he spends Real TIME with Every Patient, not just one!

Great doctor and very considerate to my wife and squeezed her in at last minute and is super understanding.The office manager and some of the people behind the counter though are straight trash and should go fall in the ditch they came from.Never seen such horrible and rude and disrespectful behavior and attitudes I would only recommend this place for the doctor. Terrible. My wife went in with severe headaches. He diagnosed her with a severe sinus infection and prescribed a barbiturate for her headaches. Said she needed a scan to see what was causing the headaches but wouldn’t schedule one and would not return calls to his office. Finally, as her headaches became worse, she went to a different doctor who ordered a scan immediately. They discovered bleeding on her brain and sent her to the emergency room where they did emergency surgery that day. He still hasn’t followed up. Nice guy. Terrible doctor.

This review is mainly for his front office staff. Do not expect any help or anything but a terrible attitude when seeking help after you’ve moved. If this was my practice I would question the professional capacity of my front office support.

Dr Sims is short tempered and yells at his patients. Terrible doctor. Doesn’t care about their health. The nurses are super sweet though. Yelled at my older mother and made her cry. He Yelled at her over his staffs mistake. Completely horrible person. Also never apologized for his mistake and outburst behavior.

I recently moved to Tennessee from Georgia and needed to establish care with a new family medicine practice. I was accepted by Dr. Sims as a patient easily enough, but I never actually saw him. I called a day ahead of my appointment only to be told it had been moved to the previous week. I never received any communication regarding this change. I was able to reschedule for the day I originally confirmed and arrived early to my appointment. I waited for over an hour before I was brought back to a examination room. I then waited another thirty minutes before leaving and requesting a refund for my copay. I had to take off half a day of work and ended up missing another, unrelated, appointment. It just seems inconsiderate to schedule a patient for an appointment and then offer no warning that the doctor is behind schedule or even an apology. I have heard nothing but good things about Dr. Sims, but I would only recommend him if you can afford to wait well beyond your scheduled appointment to be seen. Awesome Dr

Best Dr. I have had & has been treating me for over 16yrs. Very caring & compassionate highly recommend

Simply put, choose another doctor. Here's why: A family member of mine has been a patient of Dr. Sims for years. And every time she mentioned having to deal with him or his office in any way, she got very angry and frustrated. The communication was nil at the office and when she did come in for a visit with him, Dr. Sims spent maybe five minutes with her, did not even physically touch her, and was even condescending when she voiced her own health concerns. The problems became more frequent because now she is home-bound and when her meds run out, even though she is not mobile and there is COVID, they won't refill her meds unless she comes in for two visits: one to assess her and another for blood work. This is beyond ridiculous. I had to get involved when she called me to say she could not breathe and had no more refills for her prescriptions and could not physically leave her house to get to Dr. Sims' office. As you can imagine, I was scared and angry. I called his office numerous time

In two days, she has had two check-ups and blood work done, all from the comfort (and safety) of her home. My wish for you and anyone you love, most especially if they are older or have additional needs, is to avoid Dr. Harrison Sims at all costs.

Great running nose doctor but wouldn't trust him with any serious health issues. Completely incompetent staff more concern with their lunch plans then the patients. Average wait time spent in the lobby is 1.5 to 2 hours for less then a few minutes with this God Complex doctor. First time meeting Dr. Sims and seeking out a primary physician for myself and I am impressed with his professionalism as well as compassion & knowledge. Everyone, except Jamie in his office is always so angry! I hate the way Dr. Sims trys to charm ya with his insincere simplicity as if he is mocking ya for not being on his level. He's great at making ya feel stupid. If he were truly a Christian man, it would be obvious and he wouldn't have to be advertising it to convince you it's true.

A doctor for the common cold but wouldn't trust him with any serious health issues. I think he hates his job. I've been a frustrated patient of his for over 3 years due to my insurance. Average wait time is over 2 hours for 3 uncaring minutes with his nurse and brief appearance by the Dr to shake your hand. I had an appointment to review my lab work. Since I care for an elderly parent, I expressed general concerns over COVID-19 and the local government encouraged quarantine. He screamed at me, "There is no COVID-19. You are just paranoid!" then he escorted me out of his office without providing me lab results. The next day his offices called to read me the lab results:"Yes there are some concerns with your results so keep an eye on things"then discontinued the call. What? How do I keep an eye on what? Don't even know what that means other then this Doctor could care less about providing good health care. My mistake for trusting I could express medical concerns to this Dr.

Absolutely love this Dr. office. I have seen both Dr Swan and Dr Sims and they are both exceptional doctors. My doctor is Dr Sims and I can’t rave enough about him!! Very caring and exceptional doctor! He also has the best nurses Tara and Brenda they are always there when you need them. Love these ladies! The office staff (Jamie and April) their amazing people as well! Everyone there is great!! I would recommend this Dr office by far the best in Cleveland, Tennessee! Absolutely love this Dr. office. He is the most wonderful Dr.I have ever known.Takes time to listen to you and just dont write a prescription and out the door you go.He has a sense of humor that I love about him.He gets his patients in and out as quickly as possible.

The best family physician in town

Dr sims is so nice however I’ve never been here whether it’s for myself or to bring my mom that I haven’t spent at least 2 or more hours here. It’s frustrating and not worth coming here for. I would recommend him but the wait time would deter me from it.

Dr Sims is an excellent primary care doc. He listens and is very knowledgeable of current medicine and how to help. However. Most times I have to wait a minimum of 1 hour and sometimes it's been 3 hours. Even with an appointment. Because they take drop in patients and evidently are managed poorly when it comes to scheduling.

The head doctor is a very patient and kind man, he is very easy to talk with. Its a relaxed environment and I've felt like they take time to talk to you - where other doctors don't take such an interest in your needs.
