I'm very comfortable putting my healthcare in their hands, and I actually have fun when I come here. Very nice people. 5 Thumbs up.

I have been a patient of Dr. Catania for the past ten years -when I called for a prescription refill I was advised that Dr Barone took over his patients and he would only give me a 30 day prescription for my blood pressure medication and I would need to schedule an office visit to continue with my medications. Although I found this extremely unnerving I scheduled a visit with the office for today 05/10 at 12 pm. Upon arriving at the office I called to let them know I was here and question if I could enter the office. The first comment from the receptionist was that I didn’t have an appointment and after advising her that I traveled an hour to get there she placed me on hold and then informed me that my appointment was for 11.30 and they considered it a “NO SHOW”!! Despite my displeasure she said that the doctor would not see me - when I asked to speak with him I was advised that he was gone for the day and I would have to reschedule. Terrible experience - horrible office!!!

Dr Barone has managed my condition for 14 years. He is thorough and caring. He has even provided advice for conditions beyond his specialty.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Barone to anyone in need of a cardiologist. First, he runs his appointments on schedule, and I think Dr. Barone provides quality care in a forthright and reasonable manner. I have always felt that Because Dr. Barone uses the Atlantic Health portal and I use Atlantic Health doctors, he is current on all my medical issues prior to coming in to meet with me. That leaves me with a level of confidence in the quality of my care.

Family history of heart related issues. He has monitored my heart health over the years. Very personable and friendly.

EXTREMLY PERSONABLE, INTELLIGENT, INTERESTED IN THE PATIENTS PROBLEMS AND ASKS THE RIGHT QUESTIONS TO DETERMINE THE PROBLEMS.

Great listener, provides a wealth of relevant information, I never feel rushed. He reviews my file prior to seeing me. I feel well taken-care-of.

Cannot say enough positive things about this doctor! His diagnosis saved my life. He is kind, patient and explains things well to patient and to family.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Barone. The fact that he is entrusted for the health and well-being of my whole family should speak volumes. We each have different issues from a cardiac standpoint and he is an expert on all of them! To have a doctor your trust so fully AND with an exceptional bedside manner is priceless. When I needed a recommendation for a specialist, I immediately called his office knowing I could trust any recommendation he’d offer. He does not disappint.

Dr. Barone is GOOD, very GOOD ! ! Easy going, not an alarmist, explains things in a simple understandable way. His Staff is also very competent.

I usually don't write reviews about doctors- in fact, I don't review anyone or any products, but I always look at reviews so it only makes sense to start reviewing. I took my father to Dr. Barone's office today and was very pleased. I'm the caregiver for my parents and I take them to see many doctors on a regular basis, sadly most doctors don't impress me. But this doctor had very good bedside manners, he is knowledgeable and seems caring.

They don't tell you till the last minute that the stress test you do IN THEIR OFFICE is actually an outpatient hospital procedure. Rather than costing $300 - $400 as most other cardiologists in the area charge, and covered 100% by Horizon as an in-office procedure, it is actually an outpatient procedure, subject to your deductible and costs almost $1,000 that YOU have to pay. Their wallet takes priority over your health. Check your insurance benefits before going here. Be warned!

Dr. Barone is an awesome cardiologist professionally and personally! He takes the time to listen to your concerns and questions, also takes the time to talk to you and if you don't understand something he is willing to go over it again with you. He is very knowledgeable and generous with his time. Very pleased with staff also.

Dr Barone is an exceptional doctor. He is very easy to communicate with and if you don't understand something he is more than willing to go over it with you again. My family knows how I feel about this practice and they are glad I have such a doctor. Very pleased with his staff also. I know I have driven them crazy on occasion and they have responded as professionals in a caring way. I could not ask for a better team. Thank you to all of you.

Very intelligent and friendly. Explains health issues in patient language and makes sure I don't have any questions before he leaves. Excellent doctor
