Pamela Joy Randolph

After two visits I decided to seek a new doctor. Dr. Randolph was very difficult to deal with. She would not directly answer my questions, deal with my concerns or offer explanations for her treatment choices. She appeared to scorn me. Her attitude was take it or leave it. I left. Coincidentally my blood pressure which is always in the normal range spiked when I entered her examination room. I have a new endocrinologist who is terrific.

Went to Dr. Randolph in Jan of 2021. I was a new patient with her. I go to see her first for a consultation. I spent more time in my car waiting for the staff to call me in than I did in the actual office. After about 40 min of waiting, I finally see Dr. Randolph. All she does is check my vitals and then clean her stethoscope for 10 min. She tells me I need bloodwork. Ok fine, understandable. About a month later the same exact thing happened. Spent 40 min in my car then about 10 min with Dr. Randolph. She tells me my levels are fine and I am essentially cured of the hypothyroidism that I've had for the past 10 years. I was so shocked that she again wasn't even giving me the time of day about any of my problems. When I told her I was losing weight she told me to talk to my physician about that. What??? I wanted to ask her so many other questions but just got the feeling I was annoying to her. Someone else said in the reviews she has a "god complex" and they're right! Horrible doctor

bad, bad bad doctor is bad office staff is bad avoid avoid avoid

I would NOT recommend this doctor AT ALL. She had 0 compassion or empathy towards the terrible symptoms I was having from her cutting my insulin dose by 1/3 & absolutely refused to prescribe me any more when I ran out early because I simply HAD to go back to my regular dose. Is that even legal? The pharmacist was STUNNED. Her office got my Dexcom request denied 3x by my insurance; when I’d NEVER had a problem before with my previous doctor. One of the nurses was VERY rude. When I called to ask a question & the receptionist said she would transfer me to this particular nurse - I refused & told her, I did not want to speak to her because of how rude she was. Within 3m of hanging up the phone the office called me back & it was the nurse who I’d said was rude. She’d called to confront me about what I’d said about her. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! Who even does something like that, besides 14yr. old girls?! I felt like she was trying to intimidate me - which she didn’t but I never went back after that because who would want to deal with such an awkward situation? Not me. I went back to my old doctor - who certainly isn’t perfect but ANYWHERE beats this place. I wouldn’t send my dog there.

First time with Her she was really nice and took her time I really liked her

Very rude toward me, planning to find someone else rather than returning to her. She had no interest in hearing anything I said to her and had a real attitude from the moment she walked in the room.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Dr. Randolph is patronizing and has a god complex at the very least. When I said I was still feeling constantly tired, she told me if I asked everyone in her waiting room, most of them would say the same. I don’t know their medical history any more than they know mine. Telling me to “just lose weight” was patronizing and made me feel ashamed of myself. Fast forward a number of years and I FINALLY found someone who LISTENED to me and PARTNERED with me. My current endo diagnosed me with a condition that Randolph never even considered and has me on a treatment plan that is WORKING. Dr. Randolph is a horrible physician who brings shame to her profession. A patient is a customer and should never walk out of their doctor’s office feeling worthless or ashamed. On the contrary, shame on HER for abusing her position and doing that to her patients.

Years ago, I was a patient of Dr Pamela Randolph, I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, She treated me with Radioactive Iodine treatment right after I gave birth to my baby, Years later, I had a second opinion about my thyroid, I was informed that the treatment she administered was not necessary and could’ve have potentially caused a effect in my health, Anyhow she should’ve told me about her guessing with the treatment etc, Awful that these doctors are guessing and playing with real lives, Needless to say, She has vanished from Mansfield and now happily appeared in y’all city, be aware of those that don’t thoroughly look into your medical Condition before making a life change treatment that only you will pay for
