Dr. Omar M. Alwakfi

Dr Alwakfi is great - His office Manager/receptionist has no people skills. She is nasty to his patients. I questioned a billing issue and was told that if I didn't like the way she handled it I should find another dentist. It's a shame that he will lose patients because of his receptionist.

This is the only dentist I trust. He said I didn’t need any work done and my prior dentist quoted me thousands to repair my teeth, which I had no complaints.

Followed him from Albany. I won’t go anywhere else!

Dr. Alwakfi is an excellent dentist and has my total confidence. He has an outstanding team who maintain a professional environment, which makes feel at ease every visit.

Receptionist is incredibly rude and short with you. This dentist must be losing clients left and right. Learn some customer service skills!

This dentist is NEGLIGENT, I brought my four year old daughter to Richmondville Family Dental. She had tooth pain on the RIGHT side, had a xray done on the right tooth in the back. Determined she needed a filling. He brings us to a different room, begins doing a filling on the left side. I have no idea what the bad reviews are about, but you could not find a more caring dentist and staff. I can't help but think some of these reviews are not true.

Dr was nice when myself and my children have seen him in the past, but the staff is rude and the worst office manager and phone representatives I've ever encountered!! I was made an appointment on a day that the office was closed and I called to correct my information that they had some how been changed from correct and was treated like it was my error, and then had to call back 3 more times to correct it in which time I was told I was being dropped as a patient instead of just correcting it!

This dentist is by far the worst I have ever been to not only was he rude but insulting I wouldnt take my dog here to get a teeth cleaning! Never going back.

I went to Dr. Alwakfi because he was the only local dentist that took my insurance. After doing 7 fillings one year, he recommended 10 more the next year, most of which I'd have to pay for out of pocket as the cost would go beyond my insurance max. I decided to get a second opinion from my old dentist, and he informed me that NONE of the 10 fillings were necessary. Dr. Alwakfi is overly aggressive with his diagnoses. Needless-to-say, I have stopped going to him.
