Dr. Niansen Liu

No other doctor could help my adult child. He is irreplaceable! The best !

I would not be here today without Dr. Liu. I’ve never had a better Doctor in my life. Doctor Liu is compassionate and understanding. He is friendly but professional. He treats you like you are a human being instead of a number. He employs a kind staff. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Lui sent me a letter saying he will no longer treat me bc I’m from out of town. I’ve been seeing him for over 2 years now. Regardless, I just moved to the area and called to let him know. He is refusing to see me for absolutely no reason and my medication is necessary so I don’t have seizures. This situation has caused so much stress. If you're good with paying $1000 a prescription or your prescription running out not being able to get contact with the doctor nor a prescription when your life depends on it

Many things in the medical industry, I am sure have disturbed many of you as well as me. The high cost of insurance, the inability to get insurance, the high cost of perscribtion drugs, i could go on and on about it. Well none of it has disgusted me like what I have dealt with From the office of Dr Liu Niansen PhD. I was told that there office is taking new patience but that I had to go through a review process to see if they could see me. I needed to fill out a paper and it could take up to a week to find out if they would see me. This paper had 3 sections 1. name, address, phone number, DOB, SS # section 2. insurance information section 3. What do you need to see the doctor for, with approximately four lines. Now what this doctor got out of this tiny bit of information on a person I don't know and what he needed to see to make you qualified to be a patient I don't know either. But this is what I wrote (i dont usually openly tell everybody my diagnoses but her I find it important. I am diagnosed bi polar, PTSD, anxiety disorder, i suffer from panic attacks, insomnia and ADD. I went on to explain how I just moved to Tennessee and have not been able to find a doctor and have been off my medication for three months. I left the office in tears and visually shaken. I was told that if I didn't here anything in a week to call them. Which I did exactly one week later. I was told my name was on the list but there were not any comments next to it. To give it a couple of days. I called back 3 days later and was told the same thing my names on the list but no comments. I then was told how sorry the receptionist was that these was happening could i please give her my info and she would give it to the doctor and would call me monday. I waited the whole next week and heard nothing from her or anyone in the office. Tomorrow it will be two weeks since the day i went into the office to feel this review form out. I was told today that they are very sorry but they will not be able to see me. And the receptions quickly told me she was sorry they give no more information as to why. Dr. Liu is the best I have been to! He takes time with his patients and also listens. I don't know what I would do if it wasn't for him. If one medication isn't working for you, he gives you one that works. His staff are very kind and friendly.

Haven't seen him cant get in but their accepting new patients what's the problem

It’s hard to review for a doctor that seems impossible to get approved to see. I realize that he cannot see everyone but it is insulting to be turned away when you have legitimate issues and know some of the people that go there that are out here taking advantage of the system. (Note I said “some” not all.) I guess I will just sit around with what I have and deal with it since the Cleveland area has the worst doctor care of anywhere in this nation it seems. Great Dr

Dr.Liu is an awesome doctor! I was in desperate need of help and someone to listen and help me, and figure out my situation. He listened to everything I had to say (without interrupting, like most doctors do) & he answered all my questions & he doesn’t judge you. You can be totally honest with him & he’s the first doctor I’ve been able to see and get the help I needed. He cared enough to learn about me & what I was going through & what medicine I needed to help me. I would recommend him to anyone who has a problem that needs medical attention! His staff is also very friendly & nonjudgmental also. He really knows his stuff. Don’t go to Dr. Stetson bc he doesn’t care , he asks off the wall questions that has nothing to do with your situation & he interrupts you & says “I’m asking the questions here “, when he doesn’t even know the first thing about you. I went once & never went back, so all that said, “if you really need medical attention & someone that will listen to you, try Dr. Liu, he’s very kind hearted, nice, caring, & knows what he’s doing. Preoffessional but also very sympathetic with patients. If you are seeking mental help of any kind you couldn't find a better doctor.

The guy who is blaming Dr Liu for his 'alleged near death experiences', needs to take responsibility. MOST psychotropic meds say do not operate machinery etc as they may cause drowsiness. Don't blame the Dr.....he didn't make the meds or side effects.

Dr. Lui is an amazing doctor. He listens and never once acted like he did not value my ideas and opinions about my medications. I have seen him for several years and he is very caring and kind.

If you are not willing to be treated with medicine for your mental health concerns, then this is not the place for you. He is not a counselor but will politely listen to any concerns in your daily life. It is a quick checkup every time by going through a series of questions about your sleep, appetite, etc. The office communication is the worst part. Every time I need to call about appointments, they never answer; it always goes to an answering service. It has been a frustrating experience.

Dr. Liu is one of the best psychiatric physicians out there! Not only is he kind, patient, and understanding, he is also very caring. He always tries to do whatever he can to help his patients get their lives back on track. Besides being a great physician, he also has a great staff, who is caring and helpful. I would suggest Dr. Liu to anyone who is struggling with any life issues, whether it be anxiety, depression, OCD, or any other various behavioral health issues.
