Ticking Time Bomb

Without a doubt, the worst family practitioner I’ve had the displeasure to see. Flippant, uncaring and rude. Referred to me as a “ticking time bomb”, asked me if I googled (dismissing my concerns) and told me to put bengay on my unbendable tendinitis fingers while I wait 4 months for a rheumatologist— and that was all in one appointment. He will refer EVERYTHING out to a specialist— small issues every other PCP I’ve ever seen would treat. Need your script refilled? They don’t let your pharmacy do the automatic refills— you have to call yourself. The fact that he’s a teaching physician makes me upset because he’s the sort of doctor that we need LESS of. I don’t like the nurses at all either but the front staff is lovely, though. Sarah, the PA at the office, seems really thorough and great. After 2+ years, I’m finally pushing myself to get a new doctor. Do yourself a favor and keep searching for a doctor— this is not the one you’re looking for.

If there was a negative 5 on here that place would get it went to reschedule my appointment that I missed and he said I can't never reschedule well it's your loss

The staff is awesome, not a long wait for an appointment. He is ok if you don’t have any opinions on your health, any chronic conditions and are not overweight. Despite he himself being overweight, he is very rude with regards to your weight. He seems to get an ego trip if you have your own opinions on your health or symptoms. Follow through on serious conditions does not happen unless you are proactive. Test results may not even get looked at by him based on the few flagged results he never addressed with me, I would never have known I have some dangerous things to address if I had not logged in to see my own results. His staff is very kind though.
