Dr. Mowla was on time and thorough with answering questions. I didn't feel rushed and Kerry his assistant was pleasant and had a good sense of humor.

Dr Mowla is a very caring and helpful doctor. I highly recommend him and his office staff.

Dr. Mowla is very patient and understanding. He actually listens to your concerns and puts you at ease. He has the greatest nurse, Karri as well. I’ve 100% faith in them both.

Dr. Mowla has been mine and my family’s primary care physician for over 10 years. He is very kind, caring and conscientious. The staff at Townsend Family Practice are always very accommodating, as well. Our experience as patients here has been a very good one. Thank you!

Caring and professional

Dr. Mowla and his wonderful staff has taken care of my family and myself for over 6 years now. He is an excellent and caring doctor. My late husband had multiple medical issues and the care was superb. Dr. Mowla's care ranges from my Grandchildren, my adult son, to elderly me. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr Mowla is an excellent primary care physician. He listens carefully to what I say, offering thoughts and opinions only after carefully considering what he has heard. He is thorough and considerate. I’m glad he is my doctor.

I have been with Dr. Mowla for the past 6 years and have been more than happy with him. He explains everything to you and is very attentive to your health needs. The office staff is wonderful and polite and I haven't had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room for my appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Mowla.

This office has the most incompetent, disorganized & unproductive staff I've ever come across, & that's putting it lightly. There's a whole slew of issues with this office, but I'll talk about the most recent one.. We transferred our daughter to a new pediatrician. We had filled out a record release form when she was a patient of Dr. Mowla. When it came time to transfer my daughter's records over to her new pediatrician's office, Townsend couldn't find them. They weren't ever put into the system. Eventually their manager found them, but I had to wait over a week. The manager, Gwen instructed me to have my daughter's new pediatrician fax them the release form, stating she would fax the records back over to them immediately. My daughter had only been to Dr. Mowla's office three times. The staff at the office then turns around & tells her pediatrician differently, saying they received the fax, but will now send it over to the records department which will take two weeks to process. Fast forward to almost three weeks later.. still no records. But yet I was billed $15 for a write-up of 2 sick visits & a physical that never came. After making phone calls, they agreed to just fax the few sheets of information over (like they had agreed to do the first time & never followed through with). We then realized that my daughter's vaccinations were left out of the report. Townsend had these vaccinations on file because I had paid to transfer that information over the year prior. I called Townsend & Mary in the office stated that I would have to go back to the Dr. who administered the vaccines to get that vaccination report. She said they can only give me what was done in their office. That is false information. You pay to have your records transferred to your current provider & they are required to send everything they have on file have when you change providers, regardless as to who did what. I called my daughter's last two providers & they were shocked to hear this. The current pediatrician tried calling Townsend regarding this matter & they told me Mary was being "uncooperative". I ended up getting the vaccination report from her previous Dr. before Townsend. They felt horrible for what the office was putting me through & faxed the report over immediately to her new pediatrician without issue. We have finally cut ties with this failure of an establishment. Good riddance! Dr. Mawla is the best doctor I have ever had. He is compassionate, brilliant and thorough. Dr. Mawla really cares about his patients.

I had lyme 5 years ago. This year is bad for ticks. I expressed some concern over this when I saw him in May. He told me that the lyme testing was overdone and did not believe that I would come in contact with ticks. They are abundant in my backyard. A week ago I came down with symptoms that I recognize as potentially being Lyme. I've been bitten several times this summer. He refused to test or treat me. Who would want these antibiotics unless they believed they were sick? They are awful

I loved Dr Mowla iwished I could of brought him to Florida with me especially after dealing with the Drs here He always took the time to explain every thing to me abd was always very thourough

After having the same PCP for over thirty years, I had to choose a new PCP due to his retirement. I could not be happier that I picked Dr. Mowla. He answers any and all questions and gives you different treatments options. He has a great bedside manner and is very likeable. His staff is second to none and you can count on them to follow through with appointments, calling other doctors, etc. They're simply the best!

Been going to Dr. Mowla since he started in Townsend. He's great!

He is very nice but the office had my son's physical scheduled and when we got there, they were closed. The claim they sent out notices, I did not get one and they have the correct address. More importantly, they have no record of my son's Guardisil vaccine, he got all three shots and they didnt record it and want to give him MORE shots, they say its fine and it wont hurt him. Im switching doctors now.

Dr. Mowla He is very considrate and a experience doctor in family medicine evaluations.
