Dr. McElroy is able to address our family health needs because of a vast and deep understanding of various health issues, the application of supplements and medication when necessary, diet, exercise, sleep and all that affects our bodies. She is able to explain things in very clear "laymen's" terms and is good about following up on previous issues.

Dr. McElroy is very caring and goes above and beyond in her work with me. She is the first doctor who has figured out my hormone issues.

I am of the opinion that Dr McElroy’s holistic approach to personal health is superior to visiting a traditional doctor who merely prescribes meds. The patient needs to learn about nutrition, supplements, healthy habits, gut health, exercise, our chemistry, our lifestyles. All these contribute to one’s health and I wasn’t getting that care from seeing my so called primary care physician one a year.

Dr. McElroy is the only functional medicine doctor we know that knows how to interpret our semi-annual blood work and recommend things we can do to correct our health problems without taking prescription drugs. She also spends her free time attending medical conferences to stay up to date. I highly recommend Dr McElroy to anyone who is unhappy with their current health care provider!

Dr. McElroy actually listens, she finds the roots cause of an issue and provides solutions, an overall better quality of life, I'm so glad to have met my Dr for life

It was so refreshing to have a doctor look at my symptoms and actually treat the causes, not just throw medications at the symptoms. It's going to be a bit of a haul to get back to being healthy and have my pain under control, but I have hope now that it won't be this bad forever. My last doctor couldn't give me that. Dr. McElroy is always well informed and up to speed on my situation. She always has solutions to whatever the problem is and a plan for me going forward. I appreciate her so much!

Dr. McElroy is the best! I was on progesterone for many years and then started bleeding non-stop for a month and thought I would have to have a hysterectomy. She suggested not taking progesterone the week of my period and I was cured! She really listens to her patient's symptoms and is very thorough. Wouldn't see anyone else!
