Excellent exam, care, and service. I have purchased four pairs of glasses here and the lens prescription has been perfect for all. This has not been the case at other providers. I also bought glass lenses for my work glasses and this accommodation is next to impossible to find. Very pleased!

Quiet office, nice selection

Welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. So glad I chose Vision Source in Flushing .

Excellent treatment, great hours. Great staff that really care. Doctor takes extra time to talk and explain my care .really love this office and I'll be a lifetime patient here cause they really care...ms carpenter and children. ..

Very friendly and helpful...

Dr Wallace was amazing, the selection of glasses for our insurance is unmatched and they got us in and out no problem, we had 2 appointments back to back for my daughter and I and both were done start to finish in 40 mins total including picking our eye wear and checking out.

Such a wonderful visit this week. I was able to ask all my questions, and be given answers to each and every one. They are always professional, friendly, good listeners to my lame jokes ... they even laugh at them! The products are always of a very high quality. I do love these people!!

I like seeing and this office makes that possible for me! Prompt service, friendly and very professional. I was also able to successfully pick out frames with attentive assistance from James. He was great.

My whole family sees this office for all our eye care. Even my daughter who is 5 years old loves the super friendly staff and the doctors are all great with children!

Dr. Wallace and Dr. Marshall and their staff are very professional and provide exceptional customer service to their patients. They are very focused on excellent patient care and satisfaction.

I was recently a new patient to this office as I was looking for a closer to home location. I found this place through google so decided to give it a shot. When I called to make an appointment the receptionist was very friendly and made the process very easy. I was set up for an appointment within a week. When I arrive for my appointment I was greeted and welcomed with a friendly smile as I checked in and was given my paperwork. Didn’t take long to get called back to start the process. The young lady who did my initial testing was so sweet and explained everything as she went. I just adored her! Then I did my exam with Dr Wallace who was amazing! He was friendly and took his time explaining my options and his recommendations including why he recommended a certain one over the other. Once my exam was over I needed to pick out my new frames like normal. The young lady who did my exam came to check on my and help me chose what frames looked the best (the gentleman who was in that department was working with the patient before me). I thought it was so nice of her to come assist me while waiting as it made the time a bit quicker plus having a second opinion was a plus! Last week I took my mother (who has dementia) and needed special time/care to Flushing Vision. She was taken care of by Dr. Bruns, who went above and beyond to assist her. Wonderful visit with Dr. Wallace and associates. Everyone was extremely helpful and very friendly. I recommend based on service as well as prices.

It was great understanding my eye problems and being told truthfully what had happened and what to expect and how to correct my issues. The staff and doctor and awesome with kids which makes it comfortable and pleasing to return.

I went to see Dr. Wallace because other eye doctors in the area recommended him for dealing with keratoconus. Over the phone the staff told me that this was definitely the place to go to. So naturally I made an appointment. The staff was very friendly however upon meeting Dr. Wallace I assumed he was having a bad day. He seemed rushed, annoyed, etc... right off the bat. That's okay, everyone has a bad day once in a while. But then he was becoming visibly frustrated with the staff when his printer wasn't working properly and he wasn't able to print out the records from my previous doctor. As a result of the faulty printer they tried to use their email to view the records since I had emailed them a few days prior. Unfortunately he seemed to be having issues figuring out the email as well. Finally, I had to use my phone to show him the records. He was less than thrilled at having to look at a handheld device. He even took a few of those FML deep breaths. It would've been funny if I were just an observer and not the patient. When we get to the exam he tells me that the contacts that I wear are not medically necessary for the condition that I have. Previously my eye doctors were a group of very good people in Boston who said without a doubt that the contacts are medically necessary. What's more is that with keratoconus it is not possible for your eye sight to improve over time due to how the disease affects your corneas. So how is it possible to require medically necessary lenses for several years and now not need them? Even more interesting is that he wanted to prescribe regular glasses which are known not be to an acceptable treatment of keratoconus. (It is typically treated with scleral lenses or cornea transplants.) If I were to try driving with regular eye glasses I'd be getting into accidents left and right. Since I let the bad attitude slide this was red flag number one. We finished the exam and at the end he told me about how he doesn't like the insurance that I had but they're "happy to have me" there anyway. Red flag number two. After leaving the office I knew I wouldn't be returning. A few weeks later they called to tell me that the insurance company denied the claim for contact lenses which is fine because I wasn't planning on going back anyway. Months later I received a statement from the insurance company stating that they never received the proper information they needed in order to accurately determine if they would cover the lenses. I'd say this fits right in with the rest of my experience. Glad I didn't invest any more of my time there. Maybe this place is okay if you just need normal checkups and have the "right" insurance but if you have anything more complicated I would advise that you go elsewhere. As for me, I'm going back to Boston where they have real doctors who have a true understanding of this stuff. Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. I had to reschedule an appointment at the last minute and they were very understanding and accommodating. Dr. Wallace is great too!
