Dr. Michael Patrick Roberts

I have been seeing Dr. Roberts and his staff (Jeremy) going on 8 years. He has been the best doctor for me. I have a disorder that is pretty rare and this team has helped me navigate all the issues included. Not to mention, they caught my cancer before anyone else could, and I had seen two doctors beforehand. They have treated me with the upmost respect and I would recommend Dr. Roberts and his team to anyone. You may sit in the office for a while from time to time, but that’s because they take time with their patients to truly help them. I am happy to have found a medical team as caring as this one.

I had the best experience at Dr. Roberts office. He assessed my medical needs and promptly knew how to care for me. I like Dr. Roberts!

Dr Roberts and his PA, Jeremy, are both very through when talking with their patients. They want to be sure to meet the patient's needs. I am extremely happy to be one of their patients and know that they will help me will any illness I have.

I am so disappointed that I had to give him a one star rating—There should be a place for a zero rating. If you are looking for a doctor who honestly cares about his patients, Dr. Roberts is NOT the one. .

I have seen Dr. Roberts regularly for 13 years, this year. He and his team is the best. They care for me Body, Mind, Emotion, Social and Spirit. They understand when I need to see them on a special need & they make it work. They do not let me give up on myself, even when the journey may be long. They listen to me. They hear me. And they help me. When necessary, they refer me. To the best available. Dr. Roberts is an internist. He knows me. And he knows my God. Well. (Direct Pipeline). Who would not want a doctor like that? Even if they did go to LSU? He is simply, The Best.

Insanely rude office staff, I would rather stay sick or injured than ever talk to that person again.

Dr. Roberts is extremely knowledgeable and caring. He has been treating myself, and my family for almost 2 years. He now offers appointments as early as 7am which is convenient.

I have been going to this office for the past two years. They never miss a chance for some way to bill me weather it be a checkup or having to be seen multiple times for the same things. The office staff is good and the visits are usually pretty quick. It all falls apart when it comes time to get prescriptions filled. One of my prescriptions requires authorization from the doctor for my insurance to fill it. This wouldn’t be a huge issue, but what I take is an auto injection once a month. Supposed to be same day every month, if I miss one month it takes longer for the effects to be felt and this leads to problems. I have been prescribed this for a over a year and every time the authorization is needed I get a message from Walgreens stating that they haven’t got the authorization from my doctor so insurance will process it. I now have to call and hope I get ahold of a person, can’t leave a message because the mailbox is always full. Then I tell them what I need and they say we’ll take care of it. Next week let’s do it all over again, call, tell them what I need, they say ok. Maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t. At this point I am 2 weeks past my injection date. I have already went for my checkup, a month ahead of time, and they have been payed. Guess when I leave that office I’m all on my own again. I absolutely love the staff that works in this office. Everyone is very efficient. I have had a stroke 3 1/2 years ago they work with my disability of short term memory loss. They stay on top of my medication. They keep me healthy. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Michael P Roberts.

Absolutely fantastic doctor. Unlike a lot of doctors, he does not dictate from on high, but rather, dicusses issues with patients. And he has shown many times, in my case alone, that he truly cares about his patients. When I chose my Medicare Advantage program, my first question was whether or not their plan included him. If not, the conversation was over immediately.

If I could give a 0 rating I would. I do NOT recommend going to this clinic. I've been a patient for 3 months and I am done there. Dr. Roberts does not follow through with what he says he is going to do and then I tried to contact staff and they never get back to you. Horrible experience!

Dr. Roberts is amazing, unfortunately his staff does not follow through. I have not been able to get a face to face appointment with him in at least 6 months. I've been trying to get my nebulizer meds for at least 6 months. The office staff does not respond to refill requests from pharmacy. I'm supposed to be on Chronic Care Management program through Medicare which means nurse is supposed to call once a month for updates. No phone call in three months until I told Dr. Roberts on tele-med call that it was not happening. He obviously does not know what is going on with his staff. I have read Dr. Roberts’ reviews and absolutely agree with those who speak highly of him and his office staff. I have been treated very professionally and kindly. My healthcare needs have been cared for and done so in a timely matter. Yes, he is very busy and is scheduled weeks out for appointments, but this only speaks volumes about those patients desiring to see him for the great quality doctor that he is and the care he provides. This is not unusual for a doctor in high demand to be scheduled weeks out. We approve of Dr. Roberts! He’s an ALL STAR doctor!

Been seeing Dr. Roberts for years, since he first opened his practice in Crestview. Used to be so different. Seems like about the time he moved to Niceville, things in the office began to go downhill. He became very difficult to get in to see sometimes 2-3 week wait; front desk staff is usually rude, indifferent and unfeeling & can never seem to get things done without multiple phone calls, customer service is not a term they are familiar with - they make you feel like they are doing you a favor - even the office manager is dismissive & defensive; wait 50 minutes to see him for about 5 minutes; and regarding the phones: about 50% of the time, the phone rings busy & the other 48% it goes to voicemail - often takes around 45 min. to get through to the "bulldog" at the front desk; he's a really nice guy, but he just doesn't have time for you anymore & the staff makes it hard.

Yesterday was the second time I had a telehealth appointment with him. He was 2 hours late the first time and did not call at all yesterday. I am done with this disrespect.

Will never go back. I'm a Gov contractor for my job and this office knows this and knows that I have to travel for work. I have to be on certain meds and wont refill my script unless I spend $800 for a plain ticket and make a appointment with him to refill my script. So I have to finish out this job in pain till I find another doc to fill my scripts. They do not care about their patients at all. It's always been a hassle with these people Will never go back. Been a patient since the beginning, used to be great. Now he is not available to ever see, lousy primary care dr, 5 weeks for appt when sick and haven't seen the same person 2x in the last year, certainly not him. 7 kids a new custom house to pay for, he is moving as many people through as he can.

Since October of 2017 this office has been through 3 different sets of staff. Medications for my mom were never called in a timely manner. Wait time very long. My mom was diagnosed with cancer and I was told it’s just a curtesy for Dr to call us with report. We were told my 91 year old mother had to go from Destin all the way over to niceville to be told the diagnosis. After the trip, more tests were done and I tried their nurse Karen along with other nurse to get findings. We received a call that Dr Roberts no longer wished to treat my mom!! Not to mention we asked for scans to be done at sacred heart and they were called into somewhere else. The man that called us we had never met or seen. Nurses told several things to this man that were not true. We had no problem with Dr Roberts but he has refused to see his staff is what our frustrations were with. I had a mammogram performed with abnormal results. This report was sent the day I had it done via fax to his office and I never received one phone call. I had to wait until I received my letter in the mail from the radiologist 5 days later that informed me to call my physician's office which was on a Friday and they are closed. I called on Monday and explained I never received a call and the office personel told me they did not received the report until 4 days after it was faxed. Hmmm, I think his follow up procedures need to be addressed. I have had other issues with not getting in to see him when my husband had a bad leg injury and he ultimately had to be treated in the ER, several times. Dr.Roberts is a caring Doctor but have waited to see him up to 3 hrs.As far as his staff, the girls that check you in and makes appointments are great. The rest needs ALOT of improvement. Especially his nurse Pat. She doesn't like orientals. Seys so out loud. Which I found inappropriate. I have now found another Doctor and way better staff. I wish Dr. Robert nothing but the best. My father use to go to see Dr Roberts until yesterday. He had an appointment after being in the hospital for 5 day's for a fallow up. When he showed up he was presented with a bill for $167 which the staff sead Medicaid didn't pay. He was told that he was sent the bill for it in the mail. Which he didn't get. So was denied to see the doctor. My father was paid up on everything. I know this as fact because I was with him 3 visit before and stood there as he paid them. The visit before this last one. He had an 11am appointment ,which was logged on his phone. When he arrived . They tried to tell him he couldn't see the doctor because his appointment was 10:30. My father told the staff they were mistaken and showed proof. The office manager is the worst manager we've ever dealt with. When you ask her anything ,she gets upset and act's like she is doing YOU a favor. Instead of her job. This staff can't even keep track of your allergies. When I was going here. I was given twice an antibiotic I'm allergic to. I can even prove this with my pharmacy records. It's to bad that Dr. Roberts doesn't have a great staff because he's an ok Dr. Because of his staff he's lost ALOT of paying people and his review rate has dropped from a 5 to a 3.6. Went in to see the nurse practicioner around noon because back had seized up. They never called in my medication to the pharmacy that day so I had to cancel work the next day. The receptionist didnt even apologize when I said I had to cancel work because they neglected calling in my relief prescription and I would have just went to urgent care if I'd known it would take this long. He is one of the most caring and selfless doctors that I have ever met. Dr.Roberts I wanted to say thank you very much for taking time with us and helping me with are son and his medical issues . Best doctor I have seen in the Florida panhandle in the years . I have been here since 1993 would definatly say i wish i would of seen him when we first got here Doctors as sencere and caring for there patients are hard to find and now that we have come to Dr Robert's we will not go any where else wonderful Dr.?? staff was also very friendly &helpful.??

Dr. Michael Roberts was recommended to us by a close friend when our doc was retiring. We have been extremely pleased with him. He listens and is very thorough. Dr. Roberts treat the whole person. Couldn't find anyone better than him!

1. You will only see him the first visit. Maybe (they love to schedule patients with the PA’s or Nurse Practitioners, instead). But he’s a nice guy, from what I can tell. 2. Appointment wait times are quite often ridiculously long. As someone else noted, if you hold a regular job, this can be a big problem. 3. The office staff (clerks at the window), UGH. It was not unusual for me to be treated rudely by them, one in particular. I was, quite frankly, over all of it.

Do to to is neglect to see the pain and suffering my son was going through he proscribed him Xanaxs that eventually lead to other things followed by the suicide of my son.

I saw his Nurse Practioner first and Lauren was really nice. I am very shy and have a lot of anxiety she made my sudden and unexpected transition as comfortable as she could. Due to my many issues I wanted to meet Dr. Roberts. I don’t mind seeing her if he is not available.

OMG-I called his office this morning to tell him please stop sending me text messages about discussing my test results. Since his office responded very poorly to my results, I took it upon myself to take care of my situation. Since I notified the office this morning to stop calling me and that I will be searching for another physician, I have had 2 messages, one a test and one an automated phone call still requesting I make a appt. to discuss my results. This is ridiculous.

My husband I have been patients since 2015 when he came to Niceville. We were so happy and comfortable with him right from the start. If you work a normal 8 to 5 job during the week, this is not the doctor for you. Their policy is you have to come in for all lab results. I had to take off 3 hours of work and waited an hour after my appointment time so the nurse practitioner could tell me I was a little low in B vitamin (when low you feel more sleepy). When I tried to talk to the office manager about this issue for the working customer, it was made clear that the policy will not change. I'm not even getting into the issue of pa

Dr. Roberts is one of the most knowledgeable, caring, personable doctors I have ever seen. He is always in a good mood. Wait times are a little lengthy, sometimes 30-45 minutes, but he always spends time with me to talk over my concerns. His staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Roberts. He is a fantastic doctor.

Ive been going to dr roberts since he was in crestview. He is a great guy. On the better than avg dr but lets not kid ourselves. Volumes of patients always double booked and appointment especially if it is a pressing issue isnt properly prioritized by the staff which most are horrible. Dont let the internal medicine fool you he is more like a general dr. Problems ive had he expects the other drs he sends you to for education and they expect him to do it. Looking for another dr!

Have seen Dr Roberts since 2012. He is friendly, compassionate and gives each person time to explain their situation. Will I wait a little longer if needed, yes, because I want the same respect. Average wait for me normally is 10-20 min. But doctors get emergencies, staff can be behind, one bad visit isn't worth losing a great doctor! He's always been on point with diagnosis for my husband and myself. Glad to have him !

The staff is horrendous. They make it as difficult as possible to get anything done. They forget to schedule/cancel appointments. You have to call multiple times to make sure they did it right. If you need to speak with the doctor, you have to make an appt; he will not speak to you by phone, even for urgent matters or to report test findings. Make sure you have a fax machine, since they do not have email capabilities. Absolute nickel and dime shop. Expect several follow up appts for no reason.

Dr Roberts & staff very friendly. The wait time too long. Was at his office 2 hrs for lab work results. The problem is his scheduling. He's seeing pharmaceutical reps during patient time.
