I have been treating with Dr. Casnellie for the last year for my neck and he has been extremely patient and compassionate. I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Castellie operated on me in 2008. He performed a 4 level disc fusion. I could not have asked for a better Dr. I'm doing fantastic since he performed the surgery. He was kind and answered all my questions. I was unable to stand up before he operated and now I have a life. Thank you Dr Casnellie!!

I saw Dr. Casnellie in 2015 and 2017 for bilateral SI Joint fusion. This type of surgery takes a more skilled surgeon with specific training. I had already been misdiagnosed for a year before I found Dr. C. He was quick with his diagnosis turned the screen so i could see the xray for myself and explained everything in detail. He's also a very nice man. Very humble and down to earth. He doesn't have the I'm the dr air that a lot of physicians have. The staff was always helpful and nice. Had to have a double fusion a little over a month ago due to herniated disk and numbness. I’m in so much less pain than I was with a previous fusion done by a neuro surgeon. Will never see anyone else for my spine issues.

I had spinal fusion L4/L5 and L5/S1. Dr Casnellie provided me pain meds for over 3 mos. Operation is doing very well

He has did 2 surgeries on me neck and lower back. I trust him completely. He is caring and compassionate about his patients. I hear that he has left Norton’s I pray that he stays in Louisville I’m sure I will need him again and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Casnellie is the best! He has done a 4 level fusion on my neck then years later 3 level on my back. The staff there is excellent, Mike Gilbert is the best ! They take their time with you and explain. I have been coming here for many years due to my degenerative disc and arthritis. I have sent my daughters to see Mike Gilbert and my brother. Dr. Casnelli is excellent. I had spinal fusion of L4-5-6. Long operation in 2011 and I can now walk pain free and I can do hot yoga. He really took his time and took his time to check in on me several times in the hospital. Follow up was excellent and thorough.

Very compassionate provider and staff. I came to this office after over a year of different treatments and options with continuous headaches, unbearable pain, and discomfort that was hindering my quality of life. Dr. Casnellie and his staff were very understanding and assisted in every way to ensure I was positive with having cervical fusion surgery. The entire process the staff were supportive in answering any questions I had during the preop all the way up until the day of surgery. The surgery went well and Dr. Casnellie did an awesome job from beginning to the end, even to hiding the stitches. After a couple of weeks I could tell the difference, my continuous headaches and a lot of the pain I was having was gone. The incision healed nicely and you can barely tell where the site is. Best doctor I’ve had in a long time. Caring, considerate, answers all of your questions, explains options & what would be best in each situation.

Not sure about the doctor himself, but Sandy in the Physical Therapy office doesn't seem happy at all about speaking with a client on the phone, as was obvious by her curt speech. I called today and she was rude and disrespectful. I'm looking into Frazier Rehab. Those who deal with clients, must be able to communicate effectively, compassionately and in a friendly manner. He has not only helped my mother with her neck, back, and hips, he is also getting ready to do my cervical fusion in 9 days. He is not only a good man he is a wonderful surgeon. I recommend him to anyone who has spinal injuries.

Dr. Casnelllie and his staff have all been wonderful. Dr. Casnelllie did a spinal fusion C5-6-7 and unexpectedly worked on a ligament that I've had trouble with since birth. I was so scared to do the surgery with all the horror stories of bad experiences i've heard. Thank God & Dr. Casnelllie I'm not one of them! I cant say enough nice things about my experience 30 days after surgery Im going back to work and on the mend! Dr. Casnelllie and his staff have all been wonderful. Was in pain for over 2yrs and pain was getting worst. Went to other doctors and no one helped. Finally found Dr. Casnelli and knew exactly what was wrong. Did surgery in June. Although it was a scarey I am so happy I did. Wish I had done it before now. He answered all my questions and believe I had a lot. During my office visits he spends time studying your chart, talking with you & examining. Great doctor.

Dr Casnellie did my neck surgery which included a plate with screws & a cadaver disc replacement. I was very satisfied & out of the long term pain I have had for years. No one can tell I've had the surgery because he did such an excellent job on the closure. The scar is barely visible!

I would recommend Dr. Casnellie to anyone that was having neck or back pain. He done my surgery and I'm recovering. I had a spinal lumbar. fusion and he explained everything to me before I had it. Going back on post op.appointments they do xrays you are shown and you see the instrumentation to which he explains. His staff has always been nice to me. If I have any questions they have always answered them whether it be at the office or if I call them. I had no problems getting an appointment there. I had a spinal fusion in October 2016. I'm four months post op and while I'm not completely out of pain, I have much more freedom than before. The best attributes Dr. Casnellie has are his ability to really listen and his patience, especially for someone like me with little pain threshold (ok, zero pain threshold). I had no infections or complications post surgery and my four incisions healed cleanly within one month. I would highly recommend.

The entire staff from the secretary to the physician assistant, to the surgeon was a terrible experience. Everyone is absolutely rude and if that's not enough it's as if they cherry picking their patients basically making me jump through hoops trying to scare me and setting me up for painful tests just so I wouldn't use them. So I went to the Laser Spine Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio and had a completely different experience and my surgery is not only done but I'm already pain free on day 3. It took me 6 weeks just to get a consultation here and the Laser Spine Institute seen me the next day for a consultation and I had surgery a week later! After 9 months of waiting to get in for surgery, I finally had spinal fusion surgery. After surgery, I was sent home in considerable pain. Dr. Casnellie provided meds for 2 weeks and then refused to give me additional medication. He was not helpful on trying to determine how to manage my pain which hindered my healing process tremendously.

Dr. Casnellie has proven to be a excellent doctor. All the pain in my left leg is gone. My back is better. It certainly helps you have a better life

The Dr. who did my previous back surgery did L 2-3. I needed L 2-5. Dr. Cassnellie says, 'If I am going to fix your back, I am going to FIX your back.' Awesome. And the leg pain is relieved more than the back which is just what I needed.Thanx again.
