Dr. Mazen Eneyni

Worst experience I’ve had with a doctor hands down. He seems very dismissive when I ask questions and during my appointments I only see him for 5 minutes tops. I never review places, especially doctors but if you get referred here, find a new place to go. I feel more reassured seeing my PCP than my neurologist about my epilepsy. I know it’s a confusing condition to have but I just want to feel heard. I’ve been coming here for over a year trying to give this Dr a chance and nothing about him has changed. Just save yourself a year of your time and ask to be referred elsewhere.

Unprofessional! Angels Network for Dr Eneyni's Somerset, MA location: My 96 yr old father had a follow up appointment scheduled for 4/20 at 10:45am. I took time off from work to be with him during his Tele-visit appointment to review his meds and discuss his follow up issues. We had not received a call by 11:05 so we called the Somerset office. It took 13 minutes on hold just to get the receptionist! Very unacceptable wait time. We finally got thru to Karen - I told her the wait time was awful, she said she was working alone and 4 people had already quit. She said he had no appointment today.. she showed it as 4/27 not the 20th. I told her I was looking at the appointment card showing the 20th.. she said it was wrong, he'll have to wait til the following week. I said it wasn't our error, because it was written by her, Karen, the receptionist. I asked her since we took time off work for the appt if Dr Eneyni could call us at his soonest convenience for the tele visit. She said absolutely not, he was completely booked. I told her since it was her error in basic scheduling, could she ask him to fit my father in for a 10 min call. She said no. I asked if he could be placed on a cancelation waitlist, she said NO, there was nothing she could do - wait til next week for the correct appointment. I again told her it was HER ERROR, and she needed to make some kind of concession in getting my father's appointment pushed up. I asked if I could leave the Dr a voicemail on his direct line - Again, NO, he doesn't have one. She refused to help at all. She did not even ever offer an apology. I understand the struggle of working shorthanded - it's unfortunately a common practice these days - but to be a receptionist/ face of the clinic and not even apologize for making a scheduling error then not offering to TRY to help is completely unacceptable. Presented with numbness in extremities and ataxia with + Rhomberg sign. This was diagnosed as peripheral neuropathy which it probably was at the time. He chalked it up to pre-diabetes (which does not cause peripheral neuropathy). Failed to consider differential diagnosis of cervical spine cord lesion- which was causing the majority of my symptoms in the end. Hindsight is 20/20 but considering a differential diagnosis is good medicine.

Dr. Eneyni is a great neurologist.

This place is disgusting, the building was beside an empty building with paper on the windows, the furniture and partitions were dirty and mismatched and the guy is a crook. We showed up. they were unprepared, never saw our medical records, told us we could leave and they would refund our $50 Copay(Wrote that on a letter for us) and now say we were a no show and will not return the $. I had an appointment with Mary at the Dean street address in Taunton at 1:20pm and I was there at 1pm. The doors were LOCKED! A sign said call this number so I called it, BUT no one answers the phone. This should NOT happen. Doesn't anyone really care about your patients?!? I should send you a bill for putting miles on my leased vehicle and the gas it took to drive there and back. Maybe a $800 for STRESS!!!! Other patients have to go thru the same thing I did. SOMEONE should put a note saying NO ONE answers the phone from 2pm to 4pm. I'm still very upset at what I just went through.

Dr Eneyni is a great neurologist. However he needs better staff members management team. There is no privacy HIPPA law being violated - we could hear the staff members clearly very loudly repeating personal information. The front desk yells out your information during check in. Specifically one of the girls I believe her name ( Julia) we asked her to be more discreet she became very irate and argumentative. New staff needed. Or a lawsuit waiting to happen. Dr. Eneyni was rude and condescending and unwilling to listen to my concerns. He refused to return my calls when having a serious side effect to the medication that he prescribed. His office staff refused to schedule a timely appointment to follow up on this side effect. The experience was very upsetting and I would not recommend this doctor to anyone that I cared about!

Ive been a patient for 4 months...never once met a neurologist, only a nurse practitioner. I have no diagnosis, no treatment plan, no pain management. The office and customer service (phone) is horrible. Stay away!

I would not recommend this doctor or St. Elizabeth's Hospital. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with these people. I have tried for over a month to schedule an MRI and all the receptionist and scheduling department does is turn me into the middle man and argue with me about why the appointments haven't been scheduled. Dr. Eneyni apparently only works on Mondays, which is wildly inconvenient for anyone who works. I'd strongly recommend avoiding this practice all together.
