Dr Schantz is a very knowledgeable and practical primary care physician. I know that he has my best health needs close to mind.

Patient tried a new medication for the first time and was prescribed a full 30 day supply. (When trying a new medication the doctor can prescribe a couple days or a week worth of medicine). The patient was unable to take the new formula of medication because of terrible side effects. The doctor would not allow the patient to start back on medication that had been taken prior to this new medication before the full 30 supply was gone.

Lack of caring and judgement. Tried a new medication and had horrible side effects. Doctor told me sorry and I could not get the medication I had been on until next month. I was not told that if I tried a different type of medicine and it had terrible side effects, I would have to wait a full month before I could get my regular medication that I had been on for years.

Dr Schantz is the best MD and his staff, Joan and Rosie are top notch. Highly recommend!!!

I love Dr. Shantz! He's the only Dr. Who didn't judge me at first glance. He took time to listen and believe me! Because of my age other Dr's wouldn't take time to listen bc I was too young for those types of issues.

Good Doc. GREAT staff ! They work hard to give you the care you would expect out of a 5 star office with a smart , caring . well educated, kind , very capable Doctor ! The Doctor LISTENS to what you say .......
