Matthew Richard Frederick

It has been years since our family attempted to work with Matthew, and he truly did much more harm than good. He comes across initially as caring and competent, but his recommendations for a child with severe anxiety who had just moved and hadn't made friends yet was to demand that I lock my child out of the house for 2 hour timeblocks. He also advised the noncustodial father to file a juvenile in need of supervision after my child became ill with a migraine triggered from anxiety on the first day of a new school year. At the time of Mr Frederick's recommendation, my child was loved by his teachers, doing very well, was on the honor roll and was attending school regularly for that year. The intake official with the courts reviewed the documentation and (in a meeting with both parents), said there was no basis at all for it, and it would be a waste of the court's time. We were lucky to escape his influence before he might have caused a tremendous amount of damage to my son.

Mr. Matthew Frederick is extremely dependable, trustworthy, honest, caring and compassionate! He does exceptionally well in speaking with parents privately to give feedback on ways they can better assist their children and to discuss their child’s progress or lack of progress. He is very thorough in the areas he determines are key issues. He doesn’t cut corners. He goes above and beyond to make himself available should he be needed outside of the clinical setting. I can’t recommend him enough!!!
